I know others pointed out that you forgot banana peppers but no ones pointed out that you forget the mayo. Mayo mixes with the vinegar and its amazing. This is by far the best sandwich at Penn station. We made our own version 2 nights ago but we forgot the ham. Bummer! It was still amazing and way cheaper. Thanks for the video!!!
I can't believe I forgot the mayo and pepperchines. I even bought a bottle of pepperchines just for this cook. It still turned out good but could have been better. Thanks for watching.
Yeah bud you gotta slather the bread with mayo then cover with provolone then toast it, then add meats and whatnot. They use those huge salamander things, but broiling or baking or what you did is close enough for the home cook. Also the penn stations I go to chop the meats up on the grill, but your method seems like it would be just as good.
I started off getting the cheese steak and one day I tried the Italian and that was it. I have never tried another different sandwich since. Thanks for watching.
I hear you. I'm not a big fan of most Italian subs out there but once I tried Penn station that is all I ever get when I go there. Thanks for watching.
The Penn station Italian is the best sandwich they have it's awesome, the bread makes or breaks it
I definitely agree this is their best sandwich.
