Oppressor sounds really easy to test, make two champs the same speed, one that does debuffs, one that doesn't, see if they both stay in turn sync. If they both are, then the tm fill rate affects everyone, if not it only affects the debuffer.
Thanks for the video. I subscribed because of videos like this, where you're basically thinking for me and I get to work with your conclusions, so don't be discouraged from making these less popular videos
"Turn meter fill rate" Saph was right on his first option.. it effects the % of the amount of turn meter boosts, on the champ with oppresser on who cast the active debuffs
only just started playign this game but that mastery that you where talking about my guess just at a quick listen is that the turn meter will fill 10 percent faster when its fully stacked so for instance if it takes 4 turns for a skill to fire . at full stack it will get back to that turn 10 percent faster, also love your content mate i just started playing 3 days ago and im bloody hooked and watch all your vids to learn :)
"Turn meter fill rate" just sounds like a convoluted way to say "total champion speed." Seems like it may also improve how much turn meter you get from boost abilities as well. It also seems like it may affect your whole team? Not entirely sure though.
Great content what a duo ,some clarification on the masteries in layman terms, brilliant ash saph is the brain of raid and paired with you the best cc on utube excellent ❤
My initial thought for Elixer of life and the defense equivalent for that was that it would be more interesting if it was a percentagebased number, but what I''m not pondering is, when does the mastery apply it? ... consider this: IF the mastery is the FIRST applied after the base stats and only AFTERWARDS the percentage-based gear-stuff kicks in, then this mastery could be interesting to effectively jack up the "base stat" of a champion using them. Imagine that you could as example artificially jack up a "weaker" tank (HP champ) to such degree that the 3x 60% HP increase HP-sets work off of this 'new' base HP value. (disregarding substats) Mother Cybele has 18990 base HP, and say I use a full 6star bolster set (helm, and entire lower row) as well as Resilience for weapon + shield. Mother Cybele would have: 18990 +(4080+(3*60%)+(10%)) = 59151 HP _(provided I understand correctly how the multiplications work.)_ Adding the 3000 HP from the mastery would simply increase it to 62151. However, If they made it so that the mastery generates a replacement value for the base stat, then you can create some interesing scaling benefits. The same Mother Cybele would now have: (18990+3000) +4080+(3*60%)+(10%) = 67851 HP And then this doesn't even include possible substats or assessories. Given that HP-based champions can not benefit from from attack-increasing buffs or such things, this mastery could be something that could make HP champions have something unique to them. fyi: I can't check in-game if my calculations are interpreted correctly.
I had Oppressor on Kalvalax for a while, since he spawns in 4 poisons on people. But tbh, idk if that's basically giving a TM that acts like he has 10% more speed, or if it just means Arbiter fills his TM by 33% instead of 30%. Like if it's 10% of the fill TM skill? I wish they were more specific
On oppressor: I think it's essentially (b) which is kind of increasing the TM effect of speed by 1.1 during the round timing (tick) calculation. I think you (or Jedi) should have pretty short work. I've never used it before, to answer your question.
If you have 5 rolls each with 50% chance, the chance of minimum 1 is actually 96.875% The change of minimum 1 is the same as 100% - chance on none Chance on none = (1/2)^5 = 1/32 So change on minimum 1 is 1- (1/32) or 31/32 And this way you can calculate all the other chances too, if you want. On a 4 hitter it would be 1 - (1/16) or 15/16 or 93.75% on 3 it would be 7/8 = 87.5% on 2 it would be 3/4 = 75% on 1 it would be 1/2 or 50% (which is what it says in the description of the skill)
Dude I can feel Saph's frustration when being cut while talking @8:26. Idk why but every CCs Ash collab always have this "stop, I'll talk first" scene except for Drock. Bro like 🤷🤷
With the turn meter mastery, from what i understand. You get 10% extra turn meter for 4 active debuffs. So for example you do a 50% turn meter increase, normally it would give 50. But with the mastery it would an extra 10% so 55% turn meter instead. Could be wrong but thats what it seems like to me. Also from the way its worded it does seem like the extra turn meter would be given to the entire team, if the champion with the opressor mastery is giving the turn meter Also super useful info, only been playing for a month and this helped in understanding masteries.
I'm a mid-game player, Thank you for this awesome vid explaining masteries. Truly appreciate it, answered a bunch of questions. very helpful tips on strategy and character evolution. gear concepts with mastery pairings... AWESOME!!!
Oppressor: Increases the turn meter fill rate by 2.5% for each active debuff applied by the champion. Stacks up to 10%. Essentially an improvement in speed of up to 10%, which isn't bad if you can consistently ward off a lot of debuffs.
I use bdk with suppressor with narma in clan boss, and they do a ton of damage. Test it with badel and use one where you turn off his a2, then do a run where he can use his a2. But him with his quick turn around with his a2, narma has poison sensitivity and increase debuff duration, then I use geo for damage and damage reduction #chefkiss!
Faction Guardian > +1'ing a Champ. If your Faction Guardians are done then go for it! This is what I was told by my guild master. He could be wrong but it seems smart. 😅
Empowering is only good if you have full faction guardians. And +1 is worthless on anybody. Only from up from +3 start to think about it if your faction guardians is full.
Oppressor is really good, use it on both of my uugos for hydra, the best I can tell is every time someone takes a turn everyone's tm goes up so you get 10% extra every time as long as you have 4 debuffs up,
Ash looking like he just came outta prison. lol, hes doing the diamond push-ups 😆 like I knew he was buff, but seeing them both together, his physique shines rn. No hate to homeboy tho! I loved this collab, way over edited, tho. Much luv ya'll!
It’s not clear whether this skill affects the whole team, but it reads as though you basically will have 1.1x your total speed when 4 debuffs are on the enemy.
At @17:30, Saph claims any average hit rate over 2.5 (total attacks by number of skills) use Giant Slayer. However at @11:15 you recommend Akemtum use war master. Why, he has two attacks that are both x3 (average hit rate of 3). I noticed his stun guide says same thing and never says why, not very consistent and certainly doesn't mention why there is an exception. I would appreciate an answer because I built my Akemtum with Giant Slayer and stun / leech.
The reasson is his Poison damage on other people. This is only a single hit. SO one rotation considering everybody has one poison and hex and goes once for two turns of Akemtum. is 3 hit 3 hit and in wave game content 5 times one for every poison tick on everybody, considered as a single hit on everybody. so 11 hits on 7 occasions is far less than 2.5. it is even less than 2 and this ratio goes down with every poison that is on the enemy. And 3 poisons an one enemy that proccs Akemtums passive isnt considered as on Aoe Attack with 3 hits, it is considered as 3 one hit Aoe Attacks, so 3 chances for Warmaster. And those warmaster can hit stun set proccs, lifesteal healing and those kind uf stuff. But this is only helpfull for wave based content. Not helpfull for any other content. I hope this makes things clear.
Turn meter fill rate is speed. The mastery gives +10% speed when they have 5 debuffs on the enemy. So a little less than a speed set bonus but depending on your speed threshold it can push to a 3 step turn. Makes you take turns faster. Good for debuffers to keep buffs up all the time.
I got 9 piece Rathalos on my Nekmo Thaar and if oppressor can boost the turn meter fill of rathalos every time my A1 puts out decrease attack, that's huge.
I've been using Blind Seer since day one. First legendary pulled. I'm two keying UNM without 100% crit. on Blind Seer. Fat, Dark K., Ninja, and Syl. She's third highest with est. 6.7 mil. Auto.

Depends where you're using him. PvE at the higher end helmsmasher can be better IF you've built completely into ignore defense. For most warmaster is better in PvE. Saph recently did a video where he explains it much better.
The mouth and the calculator of Raid doing a collaboration is just amazing 😊

Totally mis-read Oppressor, but got lucky in the fact I use those Champions with Turn Meter Boosting on/with Champions that boost Turn Meter.
One thing I really like about Bulwark is that it protects the rest of your team from being killed by Soul Reap.
is blastproof masterie cumulative?, if i have 5 champions on a team that has that it will proc on all my champions and let me take for example 25 percent less from aoe?

On Akemtum, why warmaster and not giant slayer?
it fills the turn meter natural full rate by 2.5% and this is based on the number of buffs the champion cast and will cap off at 10% so easy and simple to understand
Thanks for tuning in ;)
Love the videos
Thanks :)
So, is the mastery that increases the turn meter rate by 2.5% primarily just increasing the speed of the Champ?
yes and no. Yes when you say he gets his turn faster. But is in detail more complicating. WHen i remember correctly the speed of your champ defines the amount of Turn Meter yaou get. But not every singe´le speed counts for the fill rate. So at really high speeds the extra speed can give you more speed in effect than more real speed. How SPeed is calculated and Turn Meter is another really complicated thing in this game.
This guy is the sharpest in Wales no doubt about it .

you win a BIG FAT KISS 😘
that oppressor would be perfect for kalvalax he puts multiple poison on all enemy's at the beginning of every round

Oppressor is amazing on sicia for hydra.

Bro unshakable is under rated. Youre getting a max quad roll into a 6 star artifact worth of resistance. Forget the unshakable mastery i think resistance itself is underrated as to how useful it is for pve. That should one of your top priorities for your support/healer/reviver champions. They cant cleanse, revive, heal in time if they are stunned, feared, slowed, frozen. Bro I never Pedro would have thought gurrda or gurptuk.
I use oppressor on every support champion that has lots of debuffs and doesn't do damage. No idea if it actually does what it says it does. Lol
Tell me which is best for Rathalos Blademaster helmsmasher or warmaster?
Thank you
Depends where you're using him. PvE at the higher end helmsmasher can be better IF you've built completely into ignore defense. For most warmaster is better in PvE. Saph recently did a video where he explains it much better.
At this point in the game they should allow us to farm every tree instead of only 2, and or at least farm every mastery in each tree.
I think that they should add some more masteries.
Wait wait ..i thing something bug..and there bug indeed
Been seeing alot of these videos. Saying to stack accuracy.
Noob here*
