    Both of these problems make Plarium money so they don't want to fix them. Focus on Fateless because a lot of us are ready to give up on Raid!

      Yep. I’m already screwed on the current fusion so and I’ve set the line that if it’s gone as expected then I’m done with the game. Been playing since 2019 and done about everything there is to do. Just tired of the BS and not wanting to waste my time around this garbage.

    The comments about Iron twins feels like you're wasting your breath at this point. The entire community was saying that exact thing about it when it got released for like an entire year and they did nothing for it. They simply DONT CARE.

      It is probably not what you think.Probably the data suggests a lot of players still use all keys everyday.They would change something only if the play rate of this boss will go down.A lot of players were saying that Raid is dying and that players are leaving.But as HH recently did a video,the game has very good statistics from all kinds of metrics.Basically,they know what to improve and what not depending on the player data

      Of course I would like to have better drop rates. BUT: One has to say, that with time (and without spending) I actually accumulated a lot of blessings already. So if they want this to be relevant for a longer time, they should not increase the rates.
      I think, it is not intended for everyone to have a high blessing on every champion withing a short time. And I guess they came to the same conclusion.

    They also need to fix the turn meter of the decapitated heads. So lame when a head as 95% turn meter and the decapitation last 1 round instead of 2. So when you kill any of them instantly 0s its turn meter

      Also if brimstone applies to a decapitated head (for me it always lands on the 1 down head) it gets triggered each turn even without being able to a skill.

      This is not a bug and is working as intended. A decapitated head does not lose turn meter when you kill the Hydra Head, so try not to kill it with a full turn meter.

    The problem with making hydra take less damage is not that you fvck the billion damage teams, but the massive amount of players that can barely scratch enough damage for one reasonable team to barely deal enough dmg to get a chest out of hydra.

      I think the changes to the heads the way im proposing (the ability to stop poison clouds and the modifications to heads) makes hydra more approachable. Many struggle with dealing with certain heads.

      @@KozyKoti Energy wise i believe 20 is better, but you can't get any mythicals, i would probably do the 20 becasue you can level food with it (preps you for next champ training), i have arix in slayer so i do hard 9 with 4 food but otherwise 20 is better iirc.

      along with saphs changes they could always remove some mechanics from normal but make it not count towards hydra clash for early game players needing stone skin and protection

      @@jongaskell3438Early game players don’t need Stone Skin or Protection. They’re both extremely arena focused sets, and will generally not be very useful until you can start beating Normal Hydra.

    Saph, I love you bro. I love your Content, but I cant help myself but laugh at this Video and say you deserve all the frustration on the Marius Mission. You were one of the first CC who came out and said Marius missions are so easy and can be done in 2 months. that you were disappointed that it is so easy and wished it were harder.

      @@HHGamingNetworkthis was one of the first things i adapted instantly too. i feel like when watching ccs you guys don’t get it at all. needs to be hammered 100 times until you guys getting it how can plarium get it… community to smart for this bs and this will destruct the game. same for some arena arguments and views i don’t see you guys making a good pvp game if you don’t hire for example a team that can balance each other like drock and shini because you need the ying yang component one of them alone wouldn’t work.

    11:40 - according to Leaderboard discord: max NM damage without Trunda: 5bil. Max damage with Trunda: 83bil. Fun times in Hydra Clash 😀

    Making hydra harder for endgame players just punishes everyone else. Fix Trunda, period! The game mechanics for hydra are the same as always. CB got easier as power creep advanced and new content came out. Where once it was endgame, it then became late game with hydra, and now it's mid game with op champs. The same must and will happen with hydra. Eventually, The Great Void will be released (I'm thinking end of this year), and that will become endgame, hopefully matching the op champs, at least, that we have now and hydra will become late game in it's place. CB will perhaps also drop to early mid game with the advent of epic empowerment, It's the cycle of Raid.
    Leave the mechanics the same, or uplift ALL content to match the champs we have in game now, but most of all FIX TRUNDA! and put out a statement saying that ALL champs that are imbalanced in any content now, AND, in the future will be rebalanced asap. That way everyone knows that there is a time limit to these quirks when they are discovered. Better still, all clans that don't have the Trunda comp simply goes on hydra clash strike and don't do it until she is, but that means self sacrifice, and I don't see top clan Turkeys ever voting for Christmas tbf.
    However, I 100% agree with you on the reward system should be extended to all 5 clans. What you missed however, was that top 3 finishes with clan members that participated but did not make the bottom reward chest point score (35mil) get nothing for their contribution to the clans placing. Everyone should get something even if it's another chest that goes from bottom regular chest 6.66mil to 35 mil reward chest in each difficulty. If you can get a regular chest in hydra, you should get a reward regardless too imo.

    The number of times I haven't even bothered with Hydra because we're so far behind due to Trunda teams isn't even funny. There's no point.

    I just quit recently primarily because of hydra and the importance of stone skin accessories in arena. I had the trunda team and would pull about 30bil in hydra clash but because of the infinite scaling and having to do more and more dmg each week I did see a 4th/5th place at least once a month. Being in gold 4 Live arena it was super frustrating waiting on stone skin accessories to drop and then not seeing one for a week was the icing on the cake. I ended up joining low end clans who were okay with me bumping there score and I would drop just enough damage to secure 1st place every single week. Which even though my past clans would do well into the hundreds of billions... I would now get the same rewards for doing as little as 3 billion damage on average. I know many more people are doing this same thing and I'm sure if 4th and 5th still got rewards low end clan hopping wouldn't be as big of a thing anymore.

    Hydra Clash simply takes too much time (1 key = 1h-1h30)
    Plarium should really do something to drastically reduce the time it takes

    its not 100% stronger its 10+ times stronger, its 1000+ %. To be honest they nerfed madman, so he cannot crit on second hit, and they did it do dracomorph so his A1 cannot crit on second hit, because he was able to 1 shot ice golem boss with A1 splash damage :) but I dont think that this is a trunda problem, its a umeko problem, reset cooldown abilities should not be resettable, trunda without reset will not spiral out of control, she will be still super strong. but I dont mind nerfing trunda also, so the game in consistent, you cannot reset the reset and you cannot crit on splash damage. this serpents will change is a good idea.

    If I may, Saph, there are other teams that will be broken too (see latest video from HH)... Why not cap the damage a skill can make (like 10% of max HP). They did it for enemy Max HP, why not for other skills? In that case you potentially solve the problem with any champion and don't get a big hate from Trunda fans.

      I don't agree. Max HP champs should have that cap because their damage scales from enemies, not from their gear etc. But why should be some att. based champ punished for that? My Turvold does 6 mil. dmg. on decapitated had, but this is just his thing, so he should be doing more than 10%. Than why would you farm better gear if there is such low limit?

    Good video with great recommendations on solving the problem. Remember Plarium, the first step to recovery is ADMITTING you have a problem. Please get out of denial that Trunda isn't an issue, everybody knows it is. Instead of spending your time nerfing the Slayer set that people purchased that resulted in a damage buff that is miniscule compare to the Trunda issue.

    it only hurts their profits cuz there is no point chasing new hydra champs like Wallmaster, horseboi etc

    I agree that Trunda dmg is ridiculous, but I also agree it can be more balanced by making it impossible to reset any reducing cd abilities. that way Trunda will not always have her a2 up and heads will respawn and you will need to bring different roles in your team, making Trunda with her 2-3 turn A2 more in line with a Gharol...

    My take on trunda and co in hydra is the same as always. Balance the game. Which to me means make all splash damage champions (this includes Baron and Siegfrund) not able to crit with excess damage and disallow ALL CD reduction abilities from affecting other CD reduction abilities. I know this would break most Emic based teams but I was personally never a fan of that cheese style anyway. I do like the idea of respawned heads being protected from damage IFF they also cannot get buffed. That seems like a fair trade.

    I've never seen these Billions of damage results in my levels of Hydra Clash. First place is usually 300 some million.
    I guess it only affects high level clans?

    Here's a suggestion for hydra/hydra clash: Damage stops accruing after hitting max reward. Then it is more about participation instead of certain champs. There could be an unlimited class for hydra clash that clans can opt in to compete for massive damage.

    Maybe head should not be able to be decapitated again before it takes a turn, it will allow heads to eat one from team and composition will be broken and harder to recover (I know, it can be prevented with taunt buff).
    Another solution for hydra clash problem can be non-linear counting of points - e.g. after reaching 2x one key , point/damage ratio will start to be hyperbolic (like damage mitigation with defence stat)

    I think the right answer for hydra is to simply cap the damage across the board. Let Trunda (and other similar exploits like Yannica) have an advantage, but not quite as large as it is.

    I would like to add a 3rd thing that is hugely frustrating: hyper-inflating Dungeon Divers-Events that only works for 4 out of 13 dungeons!!!
    HYDRA:
    - a protected "unkillable" (maybe even for 2 turns) would be enough from my point of view
    - a protected "block buff" would be great against random bad luck
    - a save (or at least a auto-save) function would increase the QoL by far (especially as Raid likes to CtD often)
    - and a good solution for brimstone would be helpfull: brimstone should be activated at least once when the head is decapicated and stay on the head when it respawns!

    Honestly, they ought to limit the damage on her a2 against bosses. Whether it's adding something to the skill's code, or to the hydra's passive skills (i.e. by capping splash damage)

    Thanks saph ! i was doin' hydra while watching this video and i was feeling exactly as you described.. Just wanted to announce to the clan that i'm bailing out on hydra clash for the foreseeable future. The game mode isn't fun. Plarium seems to be valuing peoples playtime more in recent patches .. yet they give us hydraclash which can easily chew up 3-5+ hours every week.

    Great job and great work on theory crafting a solution for the problem of the game.The Hydra clash could be resolved by making it an individual player event instead of a clan or group event.
    Also add rewards to fourth and fifth placed players. That way if you have enough individual points you still get the rewards that correspond with your points tier. For example, you could have First tier winners and fifth tier players could be in the same clan for the same week.
    Consider this to be how the proper system of personal rewards should work in the Clan verses Clan and should be implemented in the Hydra Clash. This would allow the top players to be recognized and rewarded without making everyone else suffer for not having the same champions , blessings and gear to compete at the highest possible levels.
    Or Plarium could also do the mechanics that you have suggested. Both ideas would improve the game in measurable outcomes.
    I personally like a combination of both scenarios to help balance the game out more effectively.
    As far as the Iron Twins fortress I am completely on board with your idea, I only play the Iron Twins fortress on Sundays if I have the energy to do so, if not, I will skip a week or so of playing it just because I can get better rewards in Hydra and Sintranos the Cursed City.

    Agree with your 2nd option fix for Trunda. Another option is nerf Yumiko's ability to reset her reset skill. That has always seemed broken to me. I guess that won't happen though, as it would hit a big profit point for them with krakens not gunning for multiple yumikos.

    Slightly different issue but only getting 3 keys a week with random advance quest hydra requirements makes it where you never know when you need your keys for daily quests. If you can get more keys then you could run hydra more often for team development and progress. Either reduce the cool down to an hourly rate like clan boss or let us buy more with gems or replace them as a quest reward so you don't loose them.You can buy clan boss and arena keys but not hydra. Also give keys as rewards in some areas of the game. I would run hydra so much more and develop my teams more if I could do more runs and know when I need to save them because of daily quests. Only 3 keys a week is just not sufficient.

    guys im gonna be honest i have no clue what mechanics are in the hydra boss. what does the veil do? I think there's a lot of potential for fateless to include a similar boss but with way more clarity so good luck with that saph

    Hydra Clash is so frustrating because it's the most simplest fix possible. You simply allow those in 4th and 5th also win accessories and quartz, just less of them. Then there's zero balance issue...simple.

    AMIUS now blocks speed debuffs since the last rotation, and Plarium support told me it is a known bug that has not been fixed with the new rotation.

    Another option could be the Amius mechanic: introduce a head which when you reset skills you get instant very high dmg counter attack.

    I would suggest instead of a block damage, a protected unkillable for 1 turn. That would keep the exploitation down but not completely dishearten and limit proper damage outputs. I may struggle with hydra and barely pull 25 million on hard, so as to say I am not an expert, but I still want to strive and improve while enjoying the game without being beat down on every clash.

    the problem with making heads immune on respawn is it also heavily punishes lower level teams. most of my teams are built around targeting specific heads (in terms of damage) i still build teams that can manage the mechanics of the other heads but they really focus fire damage on specific heads (i basically ignore wrath and mischief heads in terms of doing damage so i can put off getting one shot for as long as possible)

      also in addition to rewarding clans at 4th and 5th, reward ALL contributing players. the bottom clash reward should be equivalent to the bottom hydra chest, so regardless of where an individual player is up to in the game if they are trying hydra they get something for fighting during clash.

    When I play in the arena I hit for 300k+ damage and kill the entire team in 1 hit. However, the statistics indicate damage equal to the sum of the health of all enemies.
    Now the question is: if the head of the hydra has 1,000,000 health, then why is all the damage greater than this considered in the statistics? You can make the damage per hit cannot be greater than the health of the head now. If the head is cut off, then let it be x3 damage.
    But I like the video author’s version better.

    I think this is an extremely end game perspective. To fix broken hydra clash teams by buffing Hydra which is very hard for average players to even top chest.

    I think they should put personal max damage caps. If two clans all hit the cap for all players and all keys, use fastest to cap as tie breaker. Still has a place for a Trunda team, but can't do it by themselves, actually need the clan to help too. Maybe put a reward multiplier on the capped damage to encourage people to shoot for the cap.

    I couldn't agree more, Saph! 4th and 5th should get rewards. Here's a super quick fix, no one player can contribute more than 4 or 5 billion points over their 3 battles. Simple and effective. Don't have to worry about champs.

    I gave up trying to rush these missions when I FULLY maxed out 3 dungeon divers events before I got 1 mythic boot. Did I get a lot of other mythics in that time? Of course, but needing the boot and having bad rng was just absurd. RNG should never lead to a 10x difference in experience for a progress mission let alone a 30,000x difference.

    The problem with head of wrath(Im only adding on what you said ), its counter can go above 15 so sometimes you dont know when it will hit you(cant really prepare as you might want). Because of that that head can essentially do two attacks b2b and wipe your team. Also its passive works while its stunned(from that shield mechanic where head gets stunned if you deplete the shield). I would call these bugs and they have been in the game since the release of the hydra.

    Your suggested changes to the hydra fight sound good to me. Eliminating those OP teams AND making the fight less time consuming in real life. The amount of restarts due to bad luck are taking the fun out of that content. At least for me.

    I wish they'd reduce the maximum turn count on Hydra from 1500 to 500 or so. I wouldn't mind losing Hydra Clash so much if I didn't need to spend several hours doing manual runs each week.
    The other big source of frustration for me is when a run falls apart due to bad RNG when you've already been going for a long time. I feel obliged to restart to maximise Hydra Clash points as I don't want to let my clan mates down, but it makes the time already spent feel wasted. Again, lower turn count would make this less of an issue.

    Honestly I think they just need to change the reward structure so everyone gets rewards and then the top 3 gets more of a vanity reward of sorts. Then no one gets upset and people can still strive to get and build trunda teams

I would start with 10% damage reduction on respawn and then increase it with every respawn to help lower level players hit the chest maxes but accomplish the nerf to the 1500 turn strategies killing all heads every turn. Most players don't get to 10 head respawns but for those that do it begins to have a balancing impact.

    This may be way too simplistic but couldn't they just do a 1 key damage cap for Hydra.
    They could even have an option to continue after cap has been reached and then separate rewards given to the highest damage dealt globally.
    As I say probably way to simplistic but it saves nerfs, changes to mechanics and still gives people incentive to push for the really big scores.

    Best solution that might never get implemented. Plarium will instead bring a head (amius head)that counters rest mechanics and kill off that shields team with it.

    2 weeks?? I've been stuck on "Reach Gold I in the Tag Team Arena" for probably 6 months. I'm done every Doom Tower, all the Faction Wars except the last 2 stages of Sylvan, top level in all but the new and some of the Hard Dungeons, and I only beat Cursed City once on Normal and it was the very first rotation, and no I didn't beat the boss with a solo or exploit team.

    I’m not in favor of nerfing because I’ve worked my butt off and spent a lot of money to try and get the champs to make the team. I’m not there yet but I am making progress and this essentially would steal the money I’ve spent thus far.

    I like the suggestion for the Hydra changes. Damage immunity or at least more than 95% damage reduction. Most of the time i just avoid hitting the freshly-spawn Hydra, and sometimes i even have to put off placing debuffs (i.e. my Tuhanarak's block buff) because I need to wait whether the Poison Cloud head spawn from the neck stem or not. Not being able to receive buffs is also a good balance. The Poison Cloud head usually applies the buff on its first turn, so I guess to ensure it doesn't just cast it and "miss" its own buff, maybe allow them to receive self-casted buffs only (dunno how they will code it, might be a coded nightmare), OR just make it wait another turn. No spells besides A1 on the first turn.
    Yes we need more good veil champions. I was trying out new teams and was looking for a Mass Veil champ, and it seems Ferrol was the answer to all my questions but I don't have it, meaning i'm stuck with Duchess, Rector Drath etc. who do not bring anything else meaningful to the team.

    Poison cloud is really a pain when any head just appear, people ignore bosses mechanics because some of them are dumb, just like poison clouds that are counter by burn , but if u didn't time right she will get immune to it , poison cloud should be always susceptible to burn , nor only that are placed , make any burn dismiss poison cloud and hydra will be alot less rng

      @RafaelMazzuca Even if a hydra head has a poison cloud on it, it is susceptible to an HP burn…an HP burn can still be placed on a head with a Poison cloud…and if it does place that HP burn…it negates the affect of the poison cloud…even though the poison cloud buff remains.

      @@Aireez24 only burn that are not hit, most of burn skils do hit to be placed, and every hit at poison cloud heads are weak hit so if u didn't place burn before hydra use poison cloud we will have to endure 2 turns doing nothing against them

    I feel absolutely no motivation with Hydra. I know from the optimiser I could build 200-300m teams. However looking at my Hydra Clash my team are 4B behind 3rd place. Unless I can a multi billion score my input into clash is completely worthless.

    I feel like we can just add these to the list. There are a few things that need to be fixed in this game that people are talking about or have given up on. I'm only hitting hard hydra and I agree that there needs to be a change. My big issue right now is 3v3 arena. I've heard multiple CCs complain about 3v3 and point out some of it's flaws but it seems like most have given up on it. I've been stuck on the one Ramantu mission to get into G1 for months now. I'm actually having an argument with support. I don't expect to breeze through it but when that 3% chance to not land debuffs kicks in multiple times in a single match constantly proc it becomes ridiculous. Or when my champ has resisted multiple debuffs from all 4 enemy's multiple turns but then get's stunned when you are about to use them to revive and win. We all joke about Mortu's peril. But its a bit ridiculous. Many of the missions need to be reviewed and altered. Too many are designed to forcefully slow you down such as the one complained about in the video. Those that require way too much RNG to achieve.

    From your mouth to Plarium's brains. I am a player who just put in the first key on brutal and managed 42M(super proud), and I struggled for 45 minutes on manual and put in hours and millions of silver to build champs. And yeah, I still agree that one single team in a single or even 3 keys should never be able to outdamage a whole clan.
    I just saw Ash's and Drock's video on a similar topic, and some of us feel the same as you guys. These are not nerfs; they are FIXES because for sure Trunda's damage should not multiply many times over, and Yumeko should not reset her skills(see Kymar and all other reset champs in the game), and Boss mechanics are there to create a challenge and provide the satisfaction when you beat the content and also the frustration when you fail over and over.
    Love your content! Keep up the good work, and help the Faithless team put out a better game that we can all enjoy hopefully more than Raid

    I'll just agree on the first part. I disagree on the immune to damage concept - more of an unkillable would be better I think - you can damage it but you can't kill it till it takes a turn - so it doesn't hurt everyone but it makes sure consumption still happens. Another easy fix would just be to put caps in the score, like at a certain point you get less points

    I love the ideas presented here. I am personally a big fan of manipulating the effects of the Hydra to promote team strategy and eliminate bad RNG. One note I have come across recently - not sure if this has always been the case or a recent change but Affinitybreaker set allows debuffers to still place their bebuffs through Poison cloud. Really hope this isn't a bug with the set as I recall seeing mention that Poison Cloud was supposed to always make an attack a weak hit. But since switching my Uugo to Affinitybreaker set I am see way more consistency across my runs, even if poison cloud comes out at a bad time

    On Ashes posting today, the Hydra Clash was also talked about. My suggestion is to change the scoring system to points instead of damage. Basically in normal if you hit the 35m you get 1 point, if you hit that min in the next level up you get 2 etc. This was if a clan has 1 person you can blow away Hydra and do billions in damage they don't have that big of and advantage. It makes it more fair that the more people your clan has that can do the min damage for the highest level the better your chance to win is. Maybe a tie breaker could be the team with the higher damage total. This would avoid the need to nerf any champ(s) because one player can create a game breaker team. Nerfing hurts the low spenders more than the whales. For example I may have 1 Trunda but none of the other champs that help that comp but having her on the best team I can build gets a total of 2 meg on Normal. If you nerf her I may no longer be able to make the min 1.6m on Normal with that same team. What helps you as a whale game expert really hurts those not in your position.

    Worst idea for hydra fix. There should just be an unkillable buff placed on them if they were going to die while under the respawn buff and it should place through block buffs. That was you can still do damage

    Maybe don't make it immune to damage but rather make it not receive critical hits. Yeah, you can still deal damage to it but now you can't one shot it.
    And perfect veil needs to be AOE on a 3 turn cooldown if we're supposed to counter Torment without Shamael. Or make the fear resistable at least so that there's an option to build a bit more resistance on your team.

    one thing I suggested is making the hydra heads unkillable for the first turn they come back if they wont nerf trunda. With those teams that rely on the fact that the heads dont move that would be a big hit, but for the others it wont matter, who kills hydra heads when they still have that respawn buff anyway. this seems like the only other way around nerfing trunda, finding ways to change hydra so that it only affects this kind of silly teams, and not the rest. Personally I would say it is better to just nerf her, I have a trunda but I dont use her, it is a boring and champ and an intensive strat, I am better off using a wishper than trying to build a trunda team

    7:00 what you described here is basically what im doing for my clan on a smaler scale
    we are a clan full of lategame players that dont put too much effort into the game unlike me
    At the very end of weekly hydra clash i come in with my Emic Nia team and do 60% of our total clash points in one brutal run to get us to first place
    and when the points i could get are not enough for first or second i dont do my run and get us to 5th place so we can be first again next week
    its kinda sad how the very endgame teams completly ignore the intended gameplan of the Hydra battle and just brute force theyr way to victory

    Completely unrelated to the video. How does Androc the glorious' passive ability "knights of the wild" work with multi hitting attacks and aoe attacks. Does each individual crit hit grant the meter boost or does the whole thing count as just a single boost.

      AOE you get a 5% boost for each enemy that's crit, so up to 25% on waves. Multi-hit skills you only can proc the 5% boost once, so someone like Foli who has a 4 hitter A1 will only increase ally TM by 5% even if all 4 hits crit. Likewise with someone who has a multi-hit AOE. Can only get a max of 5% increase per enemy.
      His 2nd form passive, Lionheart, is very effective too. It's pretty much a AOE Evil Eye mastery proc with no cooldown or expiration.

    I just did my first 'out of turn' in Hydra, and it took 2hr 7min to complete. I would stop playing if I woke up and then saw a trunda team destory my efforts.
    That player was an as$ for not going using his key until the end.

    Saph, love the content. I only have one qualm about your clann boss analogy and damage in hydra -- Hydra clash is the reason the heavy teams exist, not the base reward damage. If there was a "Clan Boss Clash" you'd bet your bottom dollar players would throwing crazy teams out to the CB for huge damage. Right now there's literally no incentive to do it in CB. All of these "clashes" are just ways to get spenders to consolidate together and make an arms race.

    For Hydra clash the damage requirements need to scale or it just needs to not show for low level clans. My 2nd f2p account can 1 or 2 key normal Hydra. Clash pops up for the clans involved but no one can ever do enough damage to even get a chest, even if they get 1st place, it’s the most pointless thing imaginable. they need to either scale the damage or don’t give low level clans access to it. Everything about Hydra has been a disaster imo, its easily the most frustrating and least rewarding area of the game. It needs a complete re-work of the rewards system, kind of rewards etc.

    it doesent really have to be full immunity to damage after a head spawn. the buff could just hard cap the direct damage to a maximum of 5-10% and full damage immunity for the indirect damage like hex

    On higher difficulties: if the head of suffering consumes a champion and gets a life barrier and has the extra turn available afterwards and they fight went on so the consumption counter is only 2, it is a deathsentence for the champ nearly 100% of the time. I have well build teams but cant quite deal to much direct damage, i am not there yet, and i would go to turn limit, for now this is the most probable way that my runds early. Just because stars aligne in a very bad way.

      Mybe not turn limit, but i qould get consumed because cunsumption rate gets to high and i cant get the champions out fast enough so the intended turn limit.
      But with the extra turn it feels it gets cut short and i fail because of RNG.

    I am only halfway on the second set of Marius missions that I feel burnt out and it isn’t worth it. I am constantly playing gold live arena daily and for fragments of Quintus. I think at some point, I’ll probably stop trying. I think it’s the fomo effect.

    Wouldn't a reasonable fix to trunda just be to make the second part am cap at 5%of a bosses max hp, like slayer set? Then it can still get a reasonable splash damage and be useful, but has a cap that is already similar to other abilities in the game?

    Couldn't they just take away the bonus damage from hitting dead hydra heads. That would bring the damage down for everyone, as well as trunda. I don't know if it would being it down enough for the trunda team though.

    relax and wait for the participation rewards they announced for hydra clash, if you didnt get it yet, thats their way of dealing with this issue, no point in arguing the same stuff over and over, they said they wont nerf it and now they cant because people have invested in those teams and the backlash, which theyre so afraid of, would be huge.

    They need to do a a better matchmaking and match you with clans that do +/- 3 billion damage or a specific percentage than your clan then you can compete and improve for fun. And if someone move to a smaller clan they should cvc style and keep your score when you move.

      the problem with doing that is you can just have someone do a few billion damage move to a low level clan thus doing more damage than anyone else. Just repeat this action between a few clans and you will with no effort win every hydra clash and screw the clan you were in previously. (you could also just create a few alt accounts with their own clan and jump between them)

    I think it would be easier just to cap the max damage received from a single skill should not exceed 75% of the max hp. It will solve their biggest baddie not to look like weak sauce against trunda or yannica (new exploit with wixwell)

    Hydra rewards are very similar to CvC rewards - a binary reward system (you get rewards or you don't) generates more overspending - you don't just want to do well - you NEED to dominate. You can't risk failing. On a positive note - assuming you are going to allow debuffs on the respawned heads in your hypothetical rebalance, you cannot give perfect immunity to the heads, you need to have heads take (1) damage per attack, that way skills that have damage dependent effects are able to function.

    I don't agree with no damage when they respawn. keep the same damage mitigation and maybe add an unkillable effect. if you just prevent all damage you kind of force players to waste turns if all heads revive at similar times.
    personally I don't think the issue with Trunda is a hydra design issue. i think Trunda needs a rework that balances her but also makes her a hyrda specialist. nerf or cap the splash damage but give a significant damage bonus when it hits decapitated heads. make it unaffected by cooldown reset skills but have a built in cooldown reduction based on some condition that you can trigger in hydra (like 1 turn off every decapitation). i don't think there is an issue with having certain champions that out perform others and i think people should still be excited to pull a trunda just like they would if they pull a yumeko.

    Just cap the damage to whatever the max chest value is X the difficulty multiplier. It's great when someone in the clan carries, but it also defeats the point of it, everyone should be involved. So it incentivizes people to max out their damage potential and go for top chest. You would then have the potential where clans tie for first, but also who cares. Let everyone come first and get max rewards :D

    My suggestions:
    Iron Twins could have all rates from Mon-Sat and increase Sunday's rates by 25-30%. They should also give us a chance at all possible rewards instead of only 1 of the available rewards with completion.
    Hydra Clash
    Other than balancing every single champion in the game and making sure theyre all properly coded, they just need to add to more top tier chest and drop the current 3 down so that everyone gets rewards regardless of being 1st or 5th!
    PS - The point issue in Hydra is BS too! Last week my clan was in 1st place and then the day before it resets, we are pushed to 5th. This week, as of the last time I checked, my clan was in 3rd with 57 keys used at 12bil. 1st place was at 55 keys and 16bil, honestly felt this was acceptable. However the 2nd place clan was at 12.75bil with only 25 keys. More than half the keys my clan used and yet, they're beating us. It's ridiculous! This is why, no matter the clans placement, every one should receive Clash rewards!

    here is an idea: when a head dies, remove it from the game, so there is no exposed neck, there are just less heads and then the heads respawn on a timer. this "damaging a already dead head to pad your damage" is the problem here. just remove the exposed necks from the game when they die until they respawn. You will see people do so much less damage
