I think the biggest compliment I can give you is that I clicked this video and immediately fast forwarded to somewhere like 50% because I'm an impatient asshole with attention deficit disorder, got distracted by an "incoming message" bleep and switched to another tab, then started messaging people while all the time bobbing my head to your music. Then when I was done messaging I was like "fucksake this is good, let's check Spotify to see what I'm listening to" and Spotify told me I wasn't listening to Spotify - and then I rediscovered the TH-cam tab with this video :-D
Keep up the good work dude :-)

It is wonderful for me to find how ahead of the curve you were to have made this on a MC-707 fresh off the press and released it when you did considering that this is my new favourite toy now. It is amazing how these Grooveboxes are not as popular as one would imagine, especially in my country. I've never even heard anyone mention it and I am certain I'm one of the first users here too. I am so happy to hear how other artists use the machine differently from myself. Very cool. Love checking out these live set videos as a very new fellow maker myself. Big respect.

I have the original MC 303 & the JV 1010 but I'm think of connecting it to the Deluge for the real analogue & using an MPC as the mixer maybe. A few more channels would be nice but I presume MSB LSB PC are easy locate on the device (and other midi controllers). Thinking of getting this due to its portability & sound collection to be honest.

Also can the 707 lend me the pads to play the cells on the BB. my only problem is that i can't use the internal fx from the 707 on the BB. maybe there is a trick for that?

Very cool set! But what is up with the kicks on the 707? I've noticed it since I got mine that they have no thump...it's the weirdest thing being a Roland box. The TR-8s seems to have a lot more thump to it.

    • @tarekith
