I feel like in the other trips the workers were a bit annoyed, but today they seemed to have fun.
Don't change the Backup Plan segment, it's brilliant! I love the way people react to the things you do - the timing of the jokes is hilarious.

Honestly whenever it seems awkward during a back-up plan I just find it hilarious, like in the beekeeper back up plan when you were yelling "BILL!" and Bill looks dead inside. Don't you change that segment!
To figure out what something tastes like a sample of the item is put into a special centrifuge where the item is separated into the separate componants and acids and it reports back exactly what it's composed of, and then the take the acids and other componants and add them together to get an edible version of the item. I learned that on a Heston Blumenthal TV show where they did it with Garlic. Apparently garlic is comprised of the flavours of over 50 different foods, and if you add all of the componants of the different foods together, you get Garlic. YAY SCIENCE
Really? People are taking these skits seriously? I really love the Backup Plan skits. they're so funny. Don't change a thing.
l do too. And the other ones WERE very awkward to watch but that's also what makes it funny. l love it.
I get the signals from some of the workers they meet, that they didn't expect this to happen when they invite TH-cam comedians to work with them for one day. They looks so stale, as if they are annoyed by all of it. I don't expect Rhett and Link to take this seriously, they are comedians after all. But some of these workers seemed so irritated. They probably wasn't, but that's what their body sign is telling us.

awkwardness is hard to watch only because ones fears are tied to it. i feel that if people could be more confident they could enjoy the humor more. thank you guys it was fun.

I think it's wonderful that you are doing this because some kids or even grown people don't realize there are jobs like those you show and someone might even find their dream job trough one of the videos
I honestly really appreciate them responding to those comments. Basically Rhett and Link's comedy comes from awkward humor, whether it is awkward phrases, faces, jokes, even back when they did local commercials. To me, that's what makes the comedy part of gmm, not just the entertainment. Hopefully that made sense, but yeah don't change, its really the core of the humor, awkward is natural and happens to everyone, that's why its funny. Keep being mythical!

I think they can't because they film this and after the edition, they record their lines of the final cut so the sound looks better...it doesn't happen all the time, but i would like to see too.

I love the awkwardness. The Back-Up Plan vids are some of my absolute favorites. It looked like the people in this video were really enjoying having y'all there. Kind of reminded me of a Dirty Jobs episode (man, I miss that show!). Also, I think Jeff really enjoyed watching y'all drink gross flavors and then guessing the flavors. He had the best expressions!

I love when you guys do the field trip episodes! It's fun to see the different types of jobs that are out there and it's interesting to see how things are made! It becomes a funny experience when two internetainers, such as yourselves, learn of the processes done to make things. I love to see the employees getting involved. When Bill did three parts with you guys and when he made farting noises, those times remind me that we are all human and love to have fun! You guys are awesome, keep on doing what you're doing!

My husband served a mission for the lds church and came up with an acronym, it's called T-O-A-S-T It stands for Thrive On Awkward Situations Today. You can use that if you want. Suggestions: "let's toast brother" for Rhett "feeling toasty?" For link.
