Well... British accents do make you sound smart whereas Southern accents do, well, the opposite. But that happens in many languages. Germans have the same problem with some of our accents. ^^

The last one is a brazilian show named Magic Hot Air Ballon (Balão Mágico) and the character's name is Big Cute (Fofão), there is actually a strange history involving his doll back in the 80's (I think). When you pulled his head off, the neck was a pointy thing, that looked like a dagger. So, many of people thought that the character and the success of the show was due their involvement with satanism. (Sorry for my bad english and welcome to Brazil)

Team America and this other one are ripping off the Thunderbirds.
+childofnewlight Team America was heavily inspired by Thunderbirds, and the creators of Team America were always public and honest about that. It is a very unique style that hasn't been used very often, and there's nothing wrong with homage in that form. Nothing about what they did is "ripping off," in fact I think most creators would say it's respectful and loving.
And literally the same person who made Thunderbirds made Terrahawks... how does a creator "rip off" their own material?

Even if Team America was meant to be a rip-off, it was made by the people who make South Park, so even if it wasn't a tribute to Thunderbirds, it would've been just another thing that the South Park creators have made fun of.

The reason why he said "cortion" is because in an english accent, 'caution' is pronounced 'caw-shun'.
In an american accent there is a distinct difference between the word 'saw' and 'bore'. In an english accent, they're both pronounced the same way without the obvious 'rrrr' sound at the end like american. For an english person doing an american accent, it's easy to get mixed up, if you don't see the word written, its quite difficult to instantly adjust depending on the word.

You guys are giving up way too easily on Pufnstuf (except for the theme song which IS awesome). You guys likely missed it by ten years. It was quite popular in the early 70s. They even made a movie. Also, without it, you wouldn't have had Bigfoot and Wildboy :-). Watched it when I was a kid and got my son turned onto it when he was younger. There is a treasure trove of other Kroft curisosities in addition to Pufnstuf and Bigfoot (Land of the Lost, Lidsville, Bugaloos, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Dynagirl, etc.).

MOIST should stand for Master Of Interstellar Space Travel. The British child actor in H R Pufnstuf is Jack Wild, who played the Artful Dodger in the 1968 movie Oliver! That part was played in the original London West End play in 1960 by Davy Jones, who later was a member of the Monkees prefab four group.
The entirety Of Britain is both slightly offended, and laughing at you REALLY HARD. A Lot of the British Shows you mentioned were quite popular at one point or another, and "ThunderBirds" was HUGE, It's a classic, if fact they made an Animated Re-make THIS YEAR.

I loved HR Puffinstuff when I was a kid! I watched it every Saturday in my pj's, eating a bowl of Trix cereal! The boy's name was Jack Wild. I totally had a crush on him! The witch character (Witchiepoo) was played by Billie Hayes. She was a big time actress at one time. I enjoyed all thoses shows back then! Sid and Marty Kroft right? Hey it was the '70's cut me some slack!!

The Cortion thing is because it's an English guy doing an American accent. He meant Caution. Because Cortion is almost phonetically how brits say Caution, he just messed up the impression. The producers really should have made him re take. Thunderbirds, Joe 90, Captain Scarlett, Fireball XL5 are all created by Gerry Anderson. So was the TV Show Space Precinct.
One of the BEST Children's cartoons ever is Alfred J Kwak. Give it a google, and has one of the best theme tunes to boot!
The BBC provided so many random and ridiculous kids shows to my childhood, the 90's/2000's, you could do an episode on them alone. Also you don't just have Thunderbirds and Terrahawks, you have to check out Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and Stingray to name a couple, by the same guy, Gerry Anderson.
Notice how they're nearly all British... British people were just screwed up and awesome, obviously.
Okay, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw "Thunderbirds Are Go" in that.
But, OH MY WORD, you hit the nail on the head with that HR Pufnstuf. I saw that show on MeTV two Thanksgivings ago, along with my parents, aunt and uncle, and grandparents. My parents and aunt and uncle sang along with the theme song. I told my mom that they got that "Pufnstuf" part right.
Oh, and it got better: Land of the Lost came on after that... they were singing that, too.
