if you see a p wave, it means that the atria are depolarizing at a slightly later or earlier than the ventricle which is the time for the impulse to travel back up from the ventricles to the atria... namely AVRT.. but in case of AVNRT.. the atria and ventricles are depolarizing at the very same time and thus you wont see a p wave.. its embedded in the QRS complex.
I got 6 correct by analyzing the ecgs and the last one i got correct but that was a fluke. Not bad considering starting my first FY2 rotation in Cardio in 2 days
I got 7 right but we dont use some of the same terms in the US...AVRT would probably be called SVT or Atrial Fibrillation depending on the rate....SVT =150bpm and above
I disagree with the A-Fib, that looked more like an accelerated ventricular rhythm. There were no signs of fibrillation on the isoelectric line. I know AVR wasn't an option. Help.
I know a lot of these ECGs are challenging - especially given that there are only seconds to make a decision! It is AF - the fibrillation of the isoelectric line can sometimes be very fine to the point that it is imperceptible on the ECG. I think about this one as being Irregularly-irregular narrow QRS complexes and absent atrial activity (no p waves).🙏🙂
I'm currently studying to become an NP and I've never had to study an ECG. This plus my classes are helping a lot, thank you!

thank you for the quiz and learning class..... I SCORED MEDICAL LEGEND!!!!! and also on the LUNG SOUNDS TEST!!!!!
Awesome work 🌟 . A true medical legend ! 😎 🫀🫁
This was a fun way to learn 🎉
Please make more of these quizes ❤❤
I am staff nurse and now taking postgraduate diploma in emergency nursing. I got 6 correct. But I think no 7 AVNRT🙆♂️
It should be regular to be a AVNRT. While using adenosine, the chaotic baseline might appear in AF, whereas it cures the AVNRT.

@@ahmedthamir9531in the US that would be called an accelerated junctional rhythm...

3/8!! nice try and will practice more. it was so much fun!!
I got 6 correct answers
5 correct!!
Very impressive and informative!! 👏🎉❤
5 correct!! way to go😊
The last example of AVRT does in fact have rate-related right bundle branch aberrancy, if not complete RBBB.
My score 7/8
5 correct. thanks for the insights and excellent interpretation
4/8 i training more insha allah
Anyway U.S. terms could also be added for the ones that are different?
High yield and simplified
I'm so pleased you think so ! Thank you for your support - please share with others🙏
Based on your rank list I'm a MD,
Step 2CK in 1 week,
Wish me luck
Last one should be AVNRT IMO. narrow complex tach with short RP interval < 70ms.
Lots of love n respect thanks alot
❤️
5 correct and I’m in 10th grade😂
Absolutely loved this! Got all but 2, thanks for this awesome clip!⚖️📋🩺That last one though?🧐
PROFESSOR. But it confusing me SVT vs. AVRNT vs. AVRT. Also Mobitz 1 vs. 2.
Well the AVNRT I called a junctional tachycardia so I guess that's still right?
