I agree with you on books. They are for pleasure, so I would be a rotten podcaster for books. I read voraciously, and between my Kindle and Audible I can read and knit. Loved your striped heels, and I agree, they would be fun but very fussy. They MUST be worn with your Birks. I love Nora Roberts, but she can get a bit raunchy. I would recommend Chasing Fire by here. It is another Montana book. It is especially dear to my heart because it's background is the Smokejumpers. My father was a smoke jumper and my grandfather flew the planes that dropped the smoke jumpers.
Yes to the striped heel socks with my Birks. I wear my Birks every day. I can’t imagine being a smoke jumper - so brave!

Wow! I had the same idea as you for the trifle wrap. I have collected 24 minis and/or scraps that are mostly in green, blue and pink tones and I ordered mohair in grey, blush, and oat to use along with the blue and green mohair that I already had. It'll be gorgeous. Great minds think alike!

Carrie, I LOVE your pink and orange vibe!!!💖 Between preparing for Advent and life in general...I am really late getting to see this🤦♀...soooo, I am hoping that by the time you might see my comment....that gorgeous Ranunculus sweater has its final completed sleeve!! I made some very similar mistakes when knitting my first Ranunculus. I haven't dived into the second one yet.....but the yarn is in holding! I hope that the upcoming holiday season gives you lots of knitting time!! I love seeing the socks you knit for your mom too....will some be for Christmas? Be well!🤗
This is a busy time of year! My 2nd sleeve is on hold until after Christmas, but I’ll get it done. I hope you get lots of knitting time in this holiday season too! No socks especially for Christmas for my mom, but I’m knitting her two pairs of advent socks along with mine.

I laughed when you were talking about not wanting to give a book report. My daughter and I both enjoyed reading. Now her daughter in-law is the kind of reader that wants to discuss the book with us in detail! lol. I’ve enjoyed the book but have gone on to the next read and have forgotten the characters already..😏

Have you seen Charming Ewe’s colorway Big Breezy? It’s mostly hot pink with some orange and red spots. I love your Coraline cardigan!

I have not…not sure I know what the back join is. I’ve tried different ways and always come back to weaving in.
