I’ve had some good burgers in my time. Uh, I love a good swiss, melted swiss cheese, mush- roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions on a burger. Uh...that is hot stuff, you can get that at- at a number of different places.
That looks like the best mushroom and swiss burger I've ever seen. So because of that ill be useing your recipe to cook a couple of those for my wife and i this weekend. Thanks for the awesome burger. Yummy can't wait.
I explained to my children there's no pizza in heaven because good pizza requires someone to kill a cow or a pig for sausage. In heaven, nobodie's allowed to kill pigs or cows, so no pizza. That means no hamburgers and no bacon either. Sorry.
I love the thick cut mushrooms! I made a similar burger with jack cheese, mushrooms, fresh green chilies, and onion. Next time I am going to slice the mushrooms thicker like yours, and use butter, that looked wonderful! Thanks James for the video!
The thing about using an electric stove is it needs figuring out with regard to the more direct traditional gas fired or induction heat analog. I think the trick with electric stoves, is to use maximum heat until the pan/pot is almost up to temperature and then turn it down to where you need it to be, using the "overshoot' to compensate for the *cold" food going in. What are your thoughts on that?
I know you said other then fast food restaurants but, Smashburger puts a white truffle mayo sauce on it and it just to die for. As for when it's come to most resturants, they don't seem to use truffle sauce. Please say what you think, just a mushroom swiss burger, seems a little plain.
Can i use tin mushrooms because we dont have these fresh white ones here in Pakistan 🇵🇰? But we do have hardees but the meal would cost me around Rs.850 wirh fries drink which is like $ 7.25. And i can make like 4 burgers for the entire family in the same money at home! Just answer abt the mushrooms and which soy sauce to use n quantity
great looking burger, that swiss cheese melting looks awesome!! will give it a go, also do u find the lower fat ratio on your burgers tend to make them more dry? or are they still juicy.. anyways keep truckn mate
Thanks for the nice comment! With the lower fat content you do have to be careful not to over cook the burger or they will be dry. But by cooking until just done and with cheese I have not noticed them being dry.
awesome video james! I am a new subscriber to your channel and this is video is perfect! thanks for sharing. What's the name of the griddle you are using in this video?
What a great recipe, thank you for sharing James! When you bite in the burger, the stringy cheese wouldnt let go and when the cheese / onion / mushroom mixture came to the same moment out on the bottom.... that was the money shot; i got a little wet down in my pants. I am seriously thinking of getting me also such a grill platform since it seems very useful.
Hehe, no problem, but i have to thank you for the great video! I also liked, how you didn't put any additional sauces on it (because it seemed very juicy from alone the onions and the mushrooms) and through that i bet you got the real nice, clean taste of the ingredients i think.
Luca Erol It sounds like that would taste great! Maybe he'll make another video with your suggestion. 😋 For now, I'm happy with the mushroom Swiss burger recipe & video. I'm almost halfway through the video and I wish I could reach through the screen to sneak a bite! Hahaha! PS Have you ever thought about doing a video for the burger you've mentioned? Think about it! I'd subscribe to your channel, especially if you were making videos of amazing burgers that most people don't think about trying! 🇲🇽🍔🍳🌶👍👍
I do have lots of recipes in mind, so lots more videos to come. And also plan to keep posting to my main channel where I have lost of fun exploring recipes from around the world.

I bet green chilies would be good on this! I will try that real soon.
+Burgers. Yes, I vote for a green chili cheeseburger!!
Green chili is always a good addition to a burger. Not sure when but I promise to do one.
As long as the burger has roasted mush- roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions it should be hot stuff!
@@kodakwhite901 you can get it at a number of different places

Bun should be plain or flavored?
Cutieeee
Well, I wasn't hungry until I watched this. Looks great!
Try the mushroom and Swiss burger from Whataburger! Best fast food burger hands down!
If you don't have butter bacon grease is an amazing thing to toast the bun on.

this looks great!! like the idea w/ the soy sauce and the onions
Thank you! Soy sauce does go good with onions.
great video James!
what is this paper you are using for the meat to become a patty?
Parchment paper but wax paper of parchment paper both work good for this.
I bet it tastes fantastic, but no condiments or vegetables?

The griddle is nice for doing things like this it was also cheap and is fairly low maintenance.

Where can I find a skillet like that?
I bought it at Walmart.
Beef, salt, pepper, mushrooms, melted butter, Swiss cheese, onions and buns.
Where did you purchase the griddle? What temp did you cook on?
Got it at WalMart its from Lodge. I used just above medium heat.
I always use spray butter so I can put a little or as much as I need and always Grill gas
