The pilots do interact with each other. Even some MS abilities/moves have special effects to certain enemy mobile suits. Also some situational stages on the campaign mode are scenarios straight from the anime and manga. Almost all Gundam fans can recognize those fanservices.

I agree with you, and not to mention, there’s a whole “game board” mode and then missions on top of that. I wish it was a little fleshed out, but I absolutely love it. Wish there were even more MS to choose from

I respect this review, but I find the 6.0 score to be a reflection of the reviewer’s distaste towards the game being an online fighter with emphasis on a player evolving their own skill level and gameplay approach, as evidenced by them being upset over the lack of single player content and story. While these are valid criticisms, knocking 40% off of the score isn’t showing a lack of quality in the game, but the reviewer’s lack of understanding about what it is they’re reviewing.

@@VEXF0R Yeah. Player Match, search Worldwide. There’s always rooms that are either full or damn close to it. Ranked Match is absolutely dead, but rank is meaningless - you’ll play “Major General” rank players that make rookie mistakes all over the place, and you’ll play “Civilian” rank players that will dismantle your mortal soul.

I appreciate this honest review of his experience. I was considering this game only because it features Gundams from Endless Waltz, but I *do not* want a game that I have to constantly google everything just to keep up with the sweaty competition that I really didn’t want to be a part of in the first place.
Watching gameplay on this game does not impress me, and whenever people say this is “the best Gundam game” it puzzles me because I don’t see how.
This review is honest and I appreciate his input. And guess what? I still might buy this game and find out for myself.

Well it is based on an arcade game so lack of info is a given.
Pilots do interact with each other during certain parings or when against certain opponents.
It doesn't have much to offer because it's based on a online pvp mode, it's like saying all online only based games( overwatch, rainbow Six siege, fortnite,) don't have much to offer. This is a game where your offered so much mobile suits for your play style and you keep playing to improve your skills like any other fighting game ( tekkan, storm 4 , etc)
Storm 4 is nowhere close to this game in terms of competitive balance and mechanical depth.
This is definitely a 6 at best
This game is really a fucking shame... first of all how the fuck is it possible to get a UI so ugly... graphics are so shit. Only the roaster is a really good point. Thx Bandai for another gundam shit game.
