I really hate the comments here. This game is great and I love the chance it got for being in the spotlight in the Western competitive scene. Hope, we see more in the future.
Quick tip: if you still find you can't find matches all that often, try going to settings and changing your region settings to global, apparently that's where the large majority of the playerbase plays. If you're already doing this then I dunno what else there is that might help :/
Seems like they'll let just about anyone be a commentator on this. I don't care if these guys have done it before, they sure don't look or sound the part. I'm sure they could've gotten two more professional sounding people to do a fine job.
@Dale Macarena nope, a fair choice of maps. Pretty much every series has one iconic stage from the series. Also this has most gundam intro songs with the exception of copy righted songs. But they give you the option to import your own tracks
Did all contestants played on the same stage/map? I don't know what the rules are but it would be interesting to see a random stage select. Although knowing the map and terrain is an advantage. If it was random select it would really test the players mantle and let them be forced to do choices. That Disconnect was bad, I wouldn't forfeit doing EVO unless there was a money advantage or something.
Side 7 is primarily the only legal stage. Other stages either include indestructible objects, moving floors, or way to uneven flooring which tends to favor some Mobile suits. Side 7 caters to all MS and the buildings are destructible so no one can hide behind them.
@@Arcane-033 ah man that's just so sad then. I wish the developers would keep that in mind and make more tournament legal stages especially since they want to enter the esports scene.
@@JotakuJo Don't worry, in JP the main land they random all stage and you can't change your MS for entire tournament so you have to prepare for all situation.
@@SnailBot ah I've noticed a lot of Japanese lobbies do random select. wow that seems brutal, can't change your suit but that's exactly what I'm talking about. That will really test the players weaknesses and strengths. Very interesting rule sets.
how are people suppose to take Gundam franchise when the two announcers are unprofessional by looking like they didn’t leave their chairs for months just to learn the mechanics of this game…
Kizziekay has been a commentator for years and he's known for being a competitive GG player? I don't see the issue here. If it's a presentation thing that's somewhat understandable.
@@YouJustAmazeMe they're both fgs and I don't know if you notice this or not but they're are a lot of commentators who have to cover fgs that they have little knowledge of that said game. Prime example being the red bull exhibition matches where you had SF and DBFZ players commentating GGST with little knowledge of the series.

They still haven't fixed the issue where starting the game cancels all chat audio in PSN parties until you reset the system..
