2006 firebird 3800 replacement motor.
Their was no firebird built in 2006
Will it fit in a chevy colorado? 1st and/or 2nd gen?
I assume it would. Should be similar to a LS/LT swap.
What transmission and drive train can be used on these motors
It should bolt up to anything a LT or LS would work with. But I think they came with the 6 speed in the trucks. That's a 6L80 or 90 I believe.
I used a Nissan 5 speed from a 300zx. Good trans. Commercial adapters are available, but I made mine. Look up 300zx LS swaps
