Very nice indeed, I've got a dehydrator and a vacuum seal. Use them about 4 or 5 times .going to dig them out of the shed and start using them again, very impressed and inspired 👏 👍 👌. Thanks, brother. Lee
Thanks Mick, great video and looked very interesting and tasty! Definitely a little different to my biltong that I’ve been making for years in a food dehydrator. I keep the seasoning very simple on mine, a mild balsamic vinegar to marinade, and simply freshly ground coriander seeds, crushed sea salt and ground black pepper 🙏
That looks great , I've never tried jerky . I kinda imagine it to be tough and chewy . Interesting how it makes a difference to cook it slower. 24 hours later 😂 . .. So start with very thin pieces , like a double piece of ham . . You love you spices , that's totally unfair advantage 😅.. I like how you hang the meat in the oven , very clever . Never seen it done like that . Thanks for sharing your recipe
23:30 I love Jerky. I air dry in sun .In an Amazon screen enclosure. A whole kangaroo sliced up at a time. Plenty of meat in Nt. Munch on Jerky when I walk along . Good vid . Kanga, no fat. Also do fish .A barramundi weigh 30 to 50 pounds. Not so tasty. But nutritious.
Top info cheers........ love the T-shirt👍... maybe a follow up vid on few recipes to use the jerky u made..other than just chewing on it.... (good to know if u got dodgy teeth)
I'd be interested to see the 'fruit jerky' process and results Caz. Is that similar to pemmican? Please, as you're impressed with that vac-sealer, can you share a link to that one you got? There's literally tons of 'em on Amazon...
@El_Croc Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer Globefish technology was £39.99 with -25% so it cost £29.99. picture with and veg behind steak in seal bag, machines white and black. Don't know how to do link
Thanks for sharing Micky, and NOW we know, One of the rules is to not your meat touch other meat, and finally how to properly pronounce "Worchestershire" sauce. lol Atb, John
