@@hampshireoutdoorsandsurviv9340 hi Mick if you have trouble printing them, let me know because I sent them to Caz through messenger which squashes the quality of the photo my end up a bit pixelated if you get what I mean ,you might be okay. The originals are high resolution.l hope you’re enjoying the wet weather in your training ,last two mornings I’ve got absolutely soaked walking across the downs .🌧️😁
Great photos , there are a few im going to have printed to put on the wall. Thank you Lee Roberts for photography and the tuition 🌾🍄🌳🦉

Yarps if you want me to I will send you some in email
Absolutely
Some great pics and memories there brother😊
Yes indeed
bit confused about the vehicles but enjoyed it 👍🦫
we have two vehicles move them in morning to end destination leave one return in other to start go back for that at end of day all stores for the ten days carried in a car self supported trip no diving too shops no outside help like mobile cache points
Good video, does it mean one person moves vehicle forward and waits there till you catch up?
two vehicles move one up bring second back to start and collect it at end of day with 1st car mobile cache points
One car has all the gear locked in the boot, the tents, the clothes, the rations, the water, the cooking. One car gets moved ahead early each morning by 13 miles. Two cars have to move forward to bring back the driver , one car comes back to the start point . and we set off from there. this leaves one car behind and one car ahead in case of emergency. It also means we can pick up supplies or depot water at some mid point along the trail we intend to cover that day. Then in the evening when we reach our destination. We drive back and collect the behind car while the cooking is being done. We have discussed that someone can do the cooking or erecting tent during this time. (possibly sticks as he does not drive ). to attain the goal of completing the walk , i was the one who refused to walk wearing gear or anything heavy. Mainly because to carry 13kgs 13 miles every day will mean i have to train with this weight or more to be comfortable on the day. This means eating a house of food and in the end I'll have thighs like tree trunks. A couple of years ago I did 56km or 35 miles in a day. the day before, myself and the mrs drove the route and dropped 12 x 500ml water bottles every 7 miles. I had 177grams of food and drank 6 liters of water. To do that distance I trained with 12kgs 10kgs and 18kgs for four months prior. The logic being if i can carry more weight, then i can travel further without the weight. I loved this model. The depot model has been used with great success on every great human endeavor. I think Mick / sticks agree with the notion that there is enough suffering in the world and that to show people a different way to do a walk will enable more people to achieve a tangible moment of success on the route. It also allows us to be free of support or reliance on outside assistance. One other point of contention for me was going to be the packing of the bag if we did the recreation method. I add up kilos in my head too easily. I would want to film it, with water, cameras, puts me already at around 4kilos with a rain coat - rain coat being about 900 grams. Every 4 kilos slows me down by 1km per hour. I just couldn't see how it was physically possible for my old body and the idea to use the cars this way was born out that logic.
@@lifesahobby right I see
Nice set up
cheers mate

this was the easiest zoom call ive ever been in. After hauling all my stuff up a hill to do it :) I really enjoyed it, it would be interesting to see if anyone actually watches the entire thing or to get some feedback as to what people want to hear us chat about. Maybe they just get bored to death with the topics we have.
can never get bored of ranger rok
