my problem is that I Can go to stream on both, but it keeps the same settings as my main stream it won't allow me to change the resolution in the latest obs. so i set one to 1440 and one to 720 but they both show up as 1440
when I go to the settings in my OBS and i want to change the video settings, it is saying "video output is currently active, please turn off any output to change the video settings" but i tired putting off all the videos in my OBS but still asking so please how do i turn off my output to do this changes?
Good video, one more question! When you multi-stream with this method, are you able to change the aspect ratio for just TikTok? I’d like to stream in 16:9 for twitch, but simultaneously stream at the more mobile friendly 9:16 vertical format for TikTok. Any experience with that?
Yes you will be able to do so. Just change the resolution to 720x1280. The only problem with that is it will crop your face cam if you do use one, since it will be using the same canvas as Twitch.

Question regarding Twitch. I tried using this to stream to twitch and TH-cam at the same time, and it worked... Kinda. The TH-cam stream worked perfectly as it usually does, and I set up the twitch stream with this method. My twitch channel SAYS I'm live, but nobody can see or hear my stream. However, when I stop streaming to Twitch the entire VoD uploads to my channel with audio and video as if it had been streaming perfectly fine the entire time.... Is this maybe because I'm streaming in 1440 on TH-cam? I changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and lowered the bitrate to 5000 but still no luck, so I'm really not sure what else I could do...
The MilkyTheDILF this sounds like an audio issue what are you streaming out with VBR/CBR? How many audio tracks are you using? Possibly reducing it to one may help solve the problem.
@@MoogeyTV I'll have to look, I only stream a single audio track, but I use 4 tracks in my recordings. I think it's VBR for the audio, but I don't see where I can change that in the plugin for the twitch side
Hey! When I copy the plugins and data over then open OBS, "Multiple Target" does not automatically load nor is it in my docks tab. Not sure where else to find it, I'm running OBS 28.0.2 I believe :)
I’ve ran into this issue as well. Be sure the plug-in/files are in the correct destination. If you have multiple instances of OBS be sure it’s in the correct one too. I hope this helped!
I am still affiliated on Twitch! I can’t remember if Twitch updated their TOS regarding multi streaming! Don’t take my work though you can review Twitch’s TOS
could you show us an example of what it looks like streaming it to tiktok? im waiting to hear back from tiktok support to see if i can get access to their live feature but in the mean tim im curious what it looks like. does it crop you main display and only show the the display within the resolution set for the tiktok output or does it scale the display down to fit the video into the 720p vertical scene? great video btw

I noticed that on Mac os the multiple rtmp plugin is not working on version 28 😢... Please what's d fix?
Personally I am on PC. The most current version of OBS 28 multiple rtmp plugin works, sorry I’m not sure about Mac OS

Using restream works but using a in house method allows you to customize all encoding settings

Im confused on what the RTMP server is compared to your stream key. Is that the stream url? is that also the key? looking for it on youtube BTW
Yes that is your streaming URL. The stream key is a specific key given to you.
