If you’ve done everything right and still don’t see it go to docks then press multiple output and the screen should pop up

Yeah, greats tip. It was driving me bonkers thinking the default installed in the wrong folder. Also, it wouldn't let me install it anywhere else, so not sure why the even have the option to choose the install directory!

Hi im using the plugin and im trying to add Twitch but its asking for an URL an di cant locate it. Where can i find it on Twitch? I see the stream key but not the URL
So you can get around that by having Twitch be your main connected account to OBS - but you can also find some here: help.twitch.tv/s/twitch-ingest-recommendation?language=en_US

When I install mine, it does not show the Multiple Output tab.
I assured it installed in the exact folder of my obs.
Also, my obs is the latest version now.
I'd recommend trying to install an earlier version of the plugin
one thing to add, if you have changed where OBS is located (different drive) the installer will not let you install to a drive other than C

what is considered "good internet" and a "good pc" for multistreaming, what level of cpu/gpu and internet speed should I have?

Hey man, I have a question? I watch all your videos and they’re amazing. My question is if I multistream do I have to use streamlabs for the bandwidth, or is there a game capture card like Elgato that also takes care of the bandwidth? Or even with Elgato, I’m gonna have to use streamlabs? I hope my question is not too confusing, I’m just wondering if this is possible
If you have good internet speeds then you shouldn't have to worry too much about bandwidth, but if you don't, you'll want to use something like Streamlabs or Restream because they handle it, unfortunately there's not really anything like elgato that can do that as far as I know

Depends on how many platforms you're streaming to, usually 10mbps - 50mbps upload is good depending on how many services you're doing
Does streaming to TH-cam from the plugin start streaming to a "scheduled" live stream or will it start a new one???
Great question! I'm actually not sure on that but streamlabs let's you pick a scheduled stream
so what do you recomend having cpu, gpu and internet speed to stream to yt, kick, twitch? i have ryzen 5 3600 with a RTX 3060 and 500gb download and 20gb upload....i should be good, right?

Just FYI; If you're new to YT Studio to get your stream key, after you hit the go live button. YOU MUST request that you want to stream for your account first. It takes 24hrs it's locked, then you'll have access with a YT stream key to then stream to YT. I must wait for my first 24 hours xD

Usually with that Kick error, it means you need to use a different encoder in your obs stream settings @@skyesthelimit6792

Any idea how to set StreamDeck to start the Kick (Multiple Output plugin)? Its quite anoying to use ALT+TAB to get out of the game just to start streaming on Kick....

YT can be a pain in the butt, just make sure the YT stream is public, you modded the correct botrix account and sometimes it can take like 10mins to join for the first time
I have a question, when doing this i use my mainstream on twitch and multie stream on TH-cam, is there anyway to change title and stuff for the multie stream or do i have to do it from TH-cam?

Love the video, though when the option for TH-cam came up, I didn't know (since I didn't see it at first and didn't realize it) that I should click stream with streaming software, so got a little messed up there (that was on me). I did notice an option in the streaming setting when setting up for TH-cam that there's a box for Sync start with OBS, and I was wondering if I clicked that, that it would be a one button start for it all, meaning that once I click the start streaming button, that I would also start streaming on TH-cam at the same time. Just wondering, is that what that does?

I followed all instructions and everything works great kick is fine twitch is fine but my TH-cam stream will not pick up my Mic audio??? Do you know why or have any tips to try to figure this one out. Thank you for all your videos by the way keep it up!!
You may have accidentally removed the mic track from the youtube stream audio setup, id recommend taking a double check over your audio track settings and routing :D

Question. I got the plugin to work. I have it setup for TH-cam, and it did work the first time, but I wanted to switch the game. To change the game on TH-cam, yhou need to make a new video no? So I stopped it, and then started again but then it never actually started a new Live on TH-cam. I didn't wanna quit OBS because I was still on Twitch, that something I shouldn't do, or? Thanks!
To change the game on youtube just go to your youtube livestream via youtube Studio and you can edit it live there 😄
@@CpawsMusic So if you switch the game via your live on TH-cam does it make a new video, or? Some streamers I watch that switch a game it’s a whole new video. So if you were playing Helldivers 3, and wanted to switch to like a dragon, the video would stop, then there would be a new video for the new game they are playing.
So it wouldn't make a new video as far as I know, but you can always edit the video after the stream ends to make it into a different video, I'm not sure if you can do it multiple times though from the same livestream (you might, I just haven't tried) @@CorGamingTV

I'd try reseting and replacing your kick stream key

I do not. But I use streamlabs alerts to seperate my Twitch alerts from my kick/yt alerts on botrix

Hey there, I'm thinking you might want to make an update video on how to update the plugin since we have an updated OBS to 30, and I'm having a hard time trying to update the plug in.
very weird. mine is working just fine and I'm on the obs 30 update. try using an older version of the plugin and see if that helps
I actually got it to work, the issue is that if you try to do the unzipped version, it's going to keep asking you to uninstall the prior version which isn't going to do anything. However it's the zipped one that did work. Once I got that in there and then restarted the OBS, everything was working just fine.@@CpawsMusic
3:45 do you know how to find the twitch RTMP URL? The settings page in Twitch doesn't reveal it. I guess they just want you to use the Twitch option in OBS and stream to just them

I’d prefer to stream to twitch on the side bar, but you didn’t explain it in the video, and I have no idea what I’m doing especially for the stream url.
I'd recommend using Twitch as your main connection in OBS since you don't need the Stream URL and I'm not sure you can access that anymore to my knowledge.

If I set the multi stream with youtube taking obs settings the quality even with 8000bit rate on 1080p seems rly bad on my eyes. If I try to set the bitrate I have to enable encoding for youtube then the stream lags. Can I somehow change the bitrate without messing anything else? I have 1gb connection.

great video, a lot of your videos have helped me out a lot actually, i do wonder if theres a way to re-size the chat using botrix, a lot of my longer messages get cut off cause I have it resized to fit a certain spot on my stream otherwise the text is too small. so it's either some of the words get cut off for long text or short texts are too small to read. idk if that makes any sense
I'd recommend adjusting the size by changing the numbers in the width and height box in the source instead of manually dragging to crop it
Hi! your videos have been super helpful to me so thank you for that! I do have an issue though. I dont like the fact that botrix is asking for permission to basically take over my youtube (edit, delete, upload, etc.) when i try to link my account. Is it really safe for me to give them permission to do all of these things?
I asked them about that and apparently the way youtube works, is there's certain tiers of permission levels and you can't specifically choose what permissions to have in the tier and the one below it wasn't enough for it to work properly

So, if I have my youtube account connected to obs, and I have my twitch in the side multistream thingy, how would i make it so that when my stream starts, it would have the same title as my youtube stream. Also, say if im streaming minecraft on youtube, it finds out that im streaming minecraft and puts it in the minecraft section. Would it do the same thing on twitch?
You'll have to go and change it manually via the websites. I know with streamlabs you can change the titles at the start but you'll have to do it manually if you want to change it mid stream
In the custom options there is no way to set the FPS, only the resolution.
I have no idea what the default FPS is for the plugin.
There is an option in the plugin to start the second stream at the same time as the first one.
You have to check the box at "Sync start with OBS"
By the way, for non-verified user on Kick the max resolution is 720p
Glad to hear it! I'd imagine it uses the default fps you have set in your obs settings. Also I believe kick limits just people with 2 viewers or less to 720p

I have installed the multistream obs plugin on my computer via the internet page, but I can't get that view on my obs studio page, the whole window, what can I do? It should be located under the Docks tab called Multiple Output :D

For multi-streaming video settings, I can't select "Get from OBS" for some reason. I mean I can click but it won't stream on twitch. So I have to select an encoder separately. Any idea why or a fix? My main streaming platform is YT with Twitch and Kick being second and third. For YT I stream at like 25k kbps, I'm assuming that might be the reason? Since Twitch only does up to 6 or 7k kbps?

You can also add youtube alerts in streamelements as well :D
hi sorry to bother you again. i am trying to get this to work . i have YT as my main and twitch as my secondary. but it is not liking twitch. it will not start the stream to twitch it fails every time. any ideas why

It's still same old twitch I see. They have to be the priority. They don't like playing well with others it's why I originally stopped using twitch. Also looked into kick today problem is that has to be 1920 x 1080 only I can't do 1440p streams like I do on you tube

Got it setup exactly like yours, but Kick won't start streaming. When I click START, just below it flashes 'Reconnecting'. Double and triple checked URL and stream key settings But it just won't stream on Kick. :(
Got it fixed. Kick doesn't support resolutions higher than 1920X1080. All good now.

Followed the instructions and it worked perfect the first time. But after the first time, I can no longer get TH-cam to stream on OBS. It says its connected and streaming but when I go to my TH-cam channel you can't see anything. Any thoughts on why its doing that?
I'd try re-copying over the youtube stream url and information into the settings and give it another go
@@CpawsMusic I got it to work shorty after posting this. I had to remove and add the URL and Steam Key again. And there about a 1 minute delay before you see on TH-cams side. Just needed to be a little patient lol.

I don't believe so, you'll need twitch as the primary
The window "Multiple outputs" does not appear for me. I have installed the plugin, but how do I search for that window?
Usually that means you installed it to the wrong folder, I'd recommend uninstalling and trying to find the correct obs plugins folder - you might also need to install a previous version of the plugin (but usually it's the wrong location)

Yeah you can have different sources/scenes and switch between them by using the scene collections feature. You should see a tab at the top of obs

hey some how i already had all that stuff but for some reason it disappeared how do i bring it back ive uninstalled obs and the program and it still not popping back up

Does it violate multistreaming guidelines on twitch to have a multichat? Or can i stream with the merged chat without getting a warning?
It's up in the air, twitch just doesn't want to be responsible for things other chats say on other platforms

You'll likely need to choose a different encoder option under your obs output settings

I cover reading multi chat in this video. I don't believe there's a solution for responding to all of them via text however.

that's the confusing part, they don't make it easy, I'd recommend posting in the botrix discord since it constantly changes
@@CpawsMusic What’s even more confusing is when I manage to get kick chat and youtube chat as custom dock, it doesn’t save when I close OBS and I have to create the custom docks every single time I stream. I wish there was a way to save the docks so that they aren’t deleted every time.

You'll want to connect Twitch to OBS as your main platform so you won't need to input a server URL

Great video, however my YT stream is blurry but twitch is clean HD when both are running 1080p. It's really odd i can't figure it out, my bitrate in obs is 7k.
Are you watching your youtube stream preview in a lower quality through the youtube player?
You should always upscale TH-cam videos and streams to 1440p even if you are native 1080p, TH-cam destroys 1080p quality and 1440p overrides it.
