    I always vacuum after it is dabbed and mostly dry and I’ll do it several times over a few days and it’s amazing

    Resolve is pretty good .I am looking for something that performs better, but resolve foam cleaner really does wonders.

    WOW! I have to try this. I know what you mean by blotting, so I stand on the stain (using a towel I don't care about).

    One question, is this for stains only or you can use it for regular carpet cleaning

    • @raggy369

      Resolve actually has a powder cleanser that works great. You add the powder to the rug and use a carpet brush to get it in the fibre, wait twenty mins and than vacuum. It refreshes it nicely. It’s on amazon if you can’t find it in stores 😉

    I just bought this exact same product today, so was interested in seeing how it performed. Am I the only one who saw that all three stains were very much still there? Not as dark, but definitely still there. I'm disappointed. I think most of these products tell you that you may have to do more than one application. He would do well to do that, as it does not look that good. I have a whole carpet to do in my bedroom. Not sure how much blotting is going to happen. Maybe I'll put a towel down and walk on it. That's blotting, right?

      Hi! Yes, I guess the stain was never 100% gone - you can see it faintly if you look hard enough in the right light. But it's pretty much gone otherwise. I think the camera made it seem worse due to the lighting and it possibly still being wet. In any case, I'm glad I got it and was able to clean up the stains to the point that it's not detectable!

    Hi! I just used resolve and it's so amazing. Just a question though. After you dabbed it with damp cloth, was the carpet still a little soapy? Did you vacuum it after..?

    • @thegplate
      @thegplate  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Yes was still a little soapy (as in, if I rubbed my hand on it, there would be some suds). I just dabbed it as much as you saw on the video, and let it air dry. Figured it couldn't hurt, and it didn't. Would NOT recommend vacuuming it, as it will mess up your vacuum? What did you end up doing?

    • @hunnyjack
      @hunnyjack 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I feel like there was still so much suds. But I just gave up coz it's never ending. So I left it air dry. I think it's okay now. Like I'm not sure underneath but the top was okay. 😊 Appreciate the response sir!!!

    • @thegplate
      @thegplate  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@hunnyjack Yeah, same here - still had some suds, but let it dry out. It's been almost a year, and the area I cleaned looks pretty good still! In fact, it's kinda hard to see the actual stain at first glance (you gotta really look hard!).

    • @hunnyjack
      @hunnyjack 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Can this be used on fabric padded chairs?

    • @thegplate
      @thegplate  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't see why not? I would first test a corner or small spot, just to make sure it doesn't effect the dye or make the color run. Is it the kind that you can flip over and test on some extra fabric in the back?

    Did the stain come back??? Usually it comes back around 2 weeks after you clean it... I hope not

    • @thegplate
      @thegplate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope, completely gone. Also, the Resolve helped me lift the coffee out (the towel was slightly more brown as I dabbed), so I think most of it came out and shouldn't come back.

      No, unfortunately I think you will need something stronger like a urine removing enzyme cleaner. Nature's Miracle is very popular in the cleaning blogosphere, so give that a try - here is one specifically made for your issue: amzn.to/2SOO6e9

    I'm sorry but you went through so much work just to do that and I would have been just rubbing the carpet instead of dabbing that that's way too much work just to get out of a stain and it should be something where you spray on the carpet and go over with a vacum

    • @thegplate
      @thegplate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it was a lot of work but so much better than having a set in coffee stain forever. I guess it could have been worse?
