Sister suchi your daal and naans look really sumptuous Here in inner walled city of Lahore we have a speciality called " Das kulcha" which was originally conceived by some Ram Das(before partition), it's flour is kneaded in a special broth prepared by boiling chickpea pulse and fennel seeds, later a secret recipe (believed to be the original recipe of Ram Das) is added to the broth (most probably milk) before kneading the dough and baking the bread
