In the earlier episodes, I found Tom polite, but very pushy and forward. It's nice to see him healing from being stood-up at the altar, and be a bit more reserved on his approach this time around. Great writing X3 I'm heavily invested and want Tom to find happiness too!

ngl i haven’t been very fond of toms character in this remake (not because of anything you’ve done, but because of personal preference) but he’s really starting to grow on me now and this video helped a lot. i’ve been wanting to like him and i’m glad im finally starting to lol. i love what you’ve done with violettes character, renaming her to violet and making her british. iconic. also the festive and wholesome savvy/brooke posts are adorable and remind me of how i spent christmas with my girlfriend :’)

You knew I’d be here, another great one! The start of the episode with Tom’s viewing of the stories, I’m going to be sick, he makes me so sad! I loved him so incredibly all of S2 and it’s so wonderful to see him again even if it’s so bittersweet. I think you write every character so beautifully, and it’s gorgeous how you’ve committed to giving him a bit of extra time for himself. Him struggling with the text to Savannah. And herrr!!! Violet!! I love her. I like the little bit of back and forth we already got between them, and while I don’t know if you’ll be doing much more with them, I am glad you put in the time to *wrap* up some things with Tom. I do like how you introduced a character not from the US to potentially be a love interest for him, it kind of opens up the same options that Savannah did. Someone unknowing and uncaring of the fame he has, it’s good that he gets a shot with someone who could actually get that view of him rather than a fan or something. Wonderful as always! It must put salt in the wound to see your ex happily in a new relationship while you're still recovering from the breakup. You see them on there Facebook happy and living their best life. Spending time with friends and their lover. But he was alone. Perhaps he thought Savannah had given him the bouquet of roses. Putting a thought to him. Maybe even apologizing or properly breaking up with him since we don't know if they talked after she just walked out. But you never know who gave you the gift to you the gift until you look at the card. I must admit that I am in awe of the way you directed the scene you showed. His greatest feats, achievements, his dreams and how it didn't mean much to him. He had no family, friends, or a lover to share it with. Maybe in another life he'd be picking up Savannah at the airport to spend time with his wife on Christmas but now he spends it alone. He gets out bouquet of roses and a call from his family that can't really talk much, people he doesn't know that that give love and admiration. But it doesn't really have anyone to spend time with. He's alone, as is Violet. And like most Christmas films he gets a gift. Your voice acting was amazing. I love the more posh accent you put on for Violet. It is so pretty! I also love the way you showed Tom seeing other people be happy, usually in Christmas movies it's people going out and then seeing other people spend time with each other but on Christmas most people are in their house spending time with family. If they were out it would be the days leading up to Christmas. So that never really made any sense to me. But you were able to show that by simply scrolling through someone's recent posts on a social media, which I really like seeing. I also adore the way he and Violet got talking just simply meeting each other at the bar since they didn't have family to spend it with. It was absolutely lovely. I love your sets! They are so adorable. The lighting was amazing, specifically on the apartment/ houses. I love Tom and violets but while I shipped them in the original, I hope in this version he doesn't just dump all his trauma on her and make her his emotional comfort. I feel that they relationship is way more than that, and even though the original series is done hiatus, I 100% believe that Tom did not go back to California. Thank you for making this! I loved it so much, can't wait for s3 ❤

Almost a year or two ago i found the OG lps popular and watched all of them in one night! After that I saw no new episodes and then I found this art! The acting, the voices, the backgrounds! And those little details! Amazing! The characters don’t act cliché or the lead female characters don’t instantly fall in love with the first boy character they see! There is also diversity! LGBTQ stuff is kinda rare in lps videos especially male gay characters (fruity briac idk how to spell his name-) but it’s a great series with diversity, story, and great characters! Happy new year MLP fever!
I do hope Tom learns from the wedding fiasco and communicates with Violet instead of being so pushy and forward and assuming how she feels, but I'm also glad he got happiness in the end. Hopefully Violet will treat him right.

I hated Tom in the second movie. I thought he was pushy and not considerate of Savannah at all. After all, if he truly loved her, wouldn’t he have noticed how awful she looks and felt about the whole wedding? But this short really helped me see a different side of him, and I don’t feel he’s all bad. I’m happy he doesn’t hold too terrible of a grudge against Savannah and probably understands now how much she loved Brooke. I also think it’s so fitting that you made his love interest unaware of his status. He needs someone fresh and new in his life. Can’t wait for the next season!!!
