I'm so happy to see this get a second season honestly, and even more happy to hear there'll be a season three! I've loved this series since I was very young and I was sad to see the creator no longer created content for it but I am so excited to see where you take the story from here! You've written these characters so well and I absolutely cannot state that enough.
i might be wrong but i thought that as of this year, sophiegtv has been working on lps popular again? i'm not sure about the pace of it but i've seen multiple people comment about sophie returning this year or the next with new lps popular content
The gay kids get this series and I’m glad. I never got gay lps shows on TH-cam as a kid. Maybe once in a while but that was only in June 2015 when gay marriage was legalized and American lps TH-camrs were overjoyed (of course)
that crazy since lps was my first exposure to the lgbt community especially during 2017 period. i seriously am so grateful for lpstube (thanks to it, i found out im bi !!)

Okay I'm rewatching both movies again because I love them so much lol. The foreshadowing when Brooke says "Geez it's not a wedding Savannah," is craaaaaazy and Savannah looking to see if Brooke is watching when Tom kisses her to subconsciously make her jealous is a really nice touch.
@@MLPFeverYT I also have a feeling the minor conservative plot with Savannah may have pushed Tom to choose to propose to her rather than just asking her to live with him while he's doing NFL stuff. Really great work you've done here setting up the plotline of this story, very inspiring too!!

hey! i'm rewatching the series and the scene with Brooke telling Alicia about her feelings for Sav really stuck out to me. Brooke KNOWS how Alicia is, she knows that the girl lives for gossip, and yet she entrusts her specifically with that secret. I don't know it this was the intention but I feel like on a subconcious level, Brooke knew that this would lead to Sav finding out; and that's why she did it, because it would make it so much easier if she learned it through someone else and not her. I might be reaching, but it's really interesting how the story allows for different interpretations!

As much as I understand having a hard time standing up for yourself and communicating to be a people pleaser, dragging a partner you arent even in love with along to that extent and then dropping them is probably the most awful thing a person could do. This remake is great and all but it gives me a huge dislike to Savannah's character, but having flaws in characters is what makes better writing, I do have to admit.
Finished the first movie, and I have to say, great conclusion. Overall well rounded and a mature tone to it all. I am so engaged. Nice work. Can't wait to see what this movie has prepared now.

Imma be honest, Tom kinda pissed me off. 4 months into dating savvy, put her on the spot like that and proposed, expecting her to drop everything and move to san francisco when we all know damn well he would probably never do that for her. 2 months notice for the wedding, too.
Sorry for essay. Monthly rewatch (again 🤧) and I found another cool detail. Even though River's resentment of the lesbian drama is in the background for most of Season 2 and is verbalized in the later episodes- his resentment isn't only because of the drama Genny's friends bring, but also because he doesn't have a friend group of his own to hang out with; Only Genny's group. He doesn't gel well with the guys in the group and doesn't care for the gay drama of the girls in the group 🤣. It's really nice how all of this is subtly foreshadowed throughout all ten episodes instead of being brought up out of nowhere (a lot of shows, like actual shows on TV, don't use foreshadowing anymore because execs think foreshadowing = predictable = low viewership when it's the total opposite. A not-well-liked show typically is one that just throws everything at the wall out of nowhere to see what sticks and surprise the audience over and over instead of having a clear, coherent story that engages the audience.) I really hope that River and Genny don't break up and they can solve their issues. River finding a like-minded group of his own to hang out with occasionally would be good for both him and Genny. Can't wait for Season 3! ❤

I love what you did with the series, and the depth of the characters is amazing. This might be incredibly hard to get through because of how much I dislike Savannah, but it is truly an amazing work of art. Thank you for this.

Sorry for essay. Monthly rewatch (again 🤧) and I found another cool detail. Even though River's resentment of the lesbian drama is in the background for most of Season 2 and is verbalized in the later episodes- his resentment isn't only because of the drama Genny's friends bring, but also because he doesn't have a friend group of his own to hang out with; Only Genny's group. He doesn't gel well with the guys in the group and doesn't care for the gay drama of the girls in the group 🤣. It's really nice how all of this is subtly foreshadowed throughout all ten episodes instead of being brought up out of nowhere (a lot of shows, like actual shows on TV, don't use foreshadowing anymore because execs think foreshadowing = predictable = low viewership when it's the total opposite. A not-well-liked show typically is one that just throws everything at the wall out of nowhere to see what sticks and surprise the audience over and over instead of having a clear, coherent story that engages the audience.) I really hope that River and Genny don't break up and they can solve their issues. River finding a like-minded group of his own to hang out with occasionally would be good for both him and Genny. Can't wait for Season 3! ❤
