For newbies/rookies like me your channel has been wonderful. I never paid much attention to the real side of the sport in HS and am just now playing women's tackle football. So your information has been invaluable.
One of my current coaches is amazing, especially for dline. He was actually on the panthers but his career came short when he blew out his knee. He was a beast too, it’s a shame.
Great tips! I wish this existed back when I played. I agree on how much the body of a lineman has changed. Versatility and athleticism go so far now. I love that lineman are being shed light on, thank you! One suggestion/question, would you consider creating gear in youth sizes? My son plays O-Line and D-Line and loves what you’ve released.
"Watch the Linemen, not the Ball." I always do! And would add to that, also watch some Sumo, there's a lot of it on TH-cam if you search and some of the skills are very transferable.
The long body helps with the reach all you gotta do is get their pads and they can't move you control them they tell us that on the first day of practice
im a 180 pound tackle decent technique. I totally agree w athleticism over size . I’m a small linemen but I hold my ground w footwork and hands . I may not be the best in the state or nation whatever , but the team we have can’t rely on size and power , so we were taught to trust our technique . 🤙🏽
8:15 i think the best thing is if you can get a personal trainer who was/is a football player. I got one who played Running back at my hometown club, his career ended because of a ankle injury. Even though i'm a Lineman, the explosiveness for rb's is similar and he knows alot about football. Plus if your trainer was a football player he knows how to regenerate and how to avoid mistakes

I started watching more football on TV, I only watch RT's unless the QB throws a pass and the RT is out of shot. Its not hard for me personally but I could kina see why it would be hard
This comment is nothing for clout or anything, but I just wanna put this out there. When I started playing football in middle school I always wanted to play Receiver and Running back. Starting in my freshmen year I’m playing Linebacker and it’s the most exciting thing. Guys, don’t fight the coaches when you play a position you don’t want to. I feel like defensive players don’t get enough love like Receivers and other skill positions get. But anyways I’m starting a TH-cam channel called “Linebacker PRIME” and this is not I repeat NOT a self advertisement, but I want to turn my new channel into a channel to help new football players come into the sport. Mate, Lineman Football has helped me through my entire journey and I hope to be a D1 Backer one day ☝️💪 🙏 Stay strong athletes, and keep balling. 🏈
