Do you know what style helmet he wore? Do you know what style facemask he wore? Thank you also I think it would be cool for you guys to do a throwback series on old retired players like Luke Kuechly, Ray Lewis, etc. I know the emphasis is on newer products but I still think it’s fun to go back and look at some of those Hall of Famer‘s and the equipment they wore. Unpopular opinion, but as a lineman I have tried lineman cleats, and they are not very breathable, and a lot of times hurt my feet. So this season I am wearing receiver cleats. So far they have been a lot better about the only thing I’ve noticed is them having less protection if you get stepped on. But so far I think that was a worthy trade off. It is a lot more breathable and easier move because of how light they are. And so far I have had zero problems with less ankle support. So I guess we will see. I am using the Nike vapor pro 2s I believe.
I’m playing center but I’m new and I’m looking for cleats but I can’t find any good ones for lineman. Are the spotlights u got the lux MC 2.0? Cuz I bought those on impulse and idk if they’re good
@@goldenphoenix5225 yea they are the new spotlights they are good cleats you just have to stretch the ankle part out a little bit once you do that they are amazing
Meh il be honest the best pad options would be either two in one or X-tech. Douglas pads are pretty oldschool now and are pretty bulky. The X-tech on the other hand ist much lighter and more dinamic. Plus it protects far better than any other pad, you can litteraly put your hand between two pad pieces hit it with a helmet and nothin will happen to you.
My son has Vicis Zero2 with the trench attachment. We bought the Oakley Edge visor. Do you if the upper part of the visor goes in front of the trench attachment or does it slide in between the trench attachment and helmet? Can't find a straight answer anywhere!

The speedflex is the best for lineman because u can lift you head up higher in a stance than other helmets

I have the d tacks, and they are by far the best lineman gloves I’ve ever used. 10/10 would recommend.
As a center/guard, I do enjoy a more open face mask. Also I wear the adidas Freak 21’s. I have wide feet and my old Nike cleats were a bit too tight.
