This will cause it to be destroyed infinitely like what happened with Revival Slime in the anime except you control the battle position. Each time it is destroyed, it gains 500 ATK. So, once you get a ridiculously high ATK, you can just summon it in attack position. It will lose 2000 ATK but it won't be destroyed. So, just wait for your opponent to control Slifer and then use this to get over 1 trillion ATK. Unfortunately, it won't be able to attack this turn though. However, that isn't a big deal. Just give it to your opponent and play Toon World. Then you can activate Shadow Toon to make your opponent take damage equal to its ATK. I remember their was a Duel Simulator that allowed you to fight Dartz's Anime deck & the main way I ended up winning was by using Abyss Dweller is negate Gigas' revive effect.
The cards in the anime were just hella crazy for plot reasons. Their adaptions to the TCG are a shadow of what they are from the anime, specially Shunuros.
I would totally watch an anime where *Armour* was the new mechanic. Stacking buffs to the player, with a series of continuous effects, to help the player.
I remember "Tomato King" being an Anime only card. used by some farmer looking person in the first tournament in Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal. its a rank 3 XYZ plant type monster, that boosts its attack every time you detach a material once per turn. But while this card doesn't have a IRL card for it, the card was added as an event card in the mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links. I personally use it in my F2P Aromage deck, if i can get out 2 Canangas. nice extra deck option.
Its surreal how broken Grave Robber is than the other cards here if they would ever be printed as is. Imagine yeeting the most expensive card in your opponents' deck even if you lose.
This was originally how magic worked. You'd gamble with the top card of your deck, and the winner would keep both. They had cards that would force your opponent to put more cards in the gamble pot, or you could put more in yourself to draw a bunch of cards in game. As you can imagine, the mechanic was abandoned very quickly, and will NEVER come back.
anime orichalcos feels like numeron. You first have a simple gameplan (gigas kyutora combo), if it fails you get a big monster (shunoros) and if that fails too you get a bigger monster (geh)
Honestly don’t know if you have already done this but you could always do the cards that have different effects between the anime and real life. The ones that come to mind for me are the God cards.
Still waiting for Vrains season 2 archetypes to be released. Drones, Armatos Legio, Stormriders and Hydradrive were all pretty cool. It's been almost 4 years, we waited enough!
Anime Graverobber text is simple but the way it is actually used would grant it an effect text closer to this in modern Yugioh. "Target 1 card in your opponent's GY; if it is a monster, Special Summon it to your field, or if it is a Spell/Trap, set it to your field. It can be activated this turn."
I think people seem to forget that the Armour cards were kind of revived in a way in the form of the Animé versions of the Machine Emperors, Grannel, Wisel and Skiel, as they were all made up of 5 parts as well, with one Core and four parts that could be upgraded, although there, their Lvs also increased, first Lv 1, then 3 and finally 5, but you could easily get the higher Lv versions out through the base Lv 1 variants! Plus, the Animé versions of the Sacred Beasts, the Earthbound Immortals and the Nordic Gods were pretty crazy as well! And then we have the Numbers! And I seem to have gone off on a bit of a tangent about cards being different from version to version...
Snow Fairy from GX lol That thing was obscene. It's a level 4 Light Fairy with 1100/700. You can normal summon it, and once it's on the field, it floodgates all of your opponent's Spells and basically turns them into Traps. Snow Fairy's continuous effect makes it so your opponent can neither activate Spell cards from the hand nor cannot activate them the turn they are set. If they ever did release it to the TCG, they would probably put a bunch of restrictions on it, like only working when there's a water monster on your field, since this thing was part of the White Knight archetype. They would probably make it a water attribute monster too

The anime cards of the 1st anime (technically 2nd anime) is pretty tame compared to some of the later seasons. Like Zarc's cards, where the real Astrograph Sorcerer is like 10 times weaker than the anime version but was still so broken it needed to be banned. Since Duel Logs has only seen the 1st anime, that's all he can talk about.
I know officially the anime version of Graverobber "steals" a card, but I rewatched episode 64 and Joey doesn't use that term. Does anyone know why we all seem to think that? None of the duelists keep the card and usually we just see them either summon the monster or get the spell or magic card in their hand or facedown (it's a little loose) so I assumed it was what the characters said.

Cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card battles, you can change the battle position of the monster it battles and/or negate its effects until the end of the battle phase._ ATK/1450 DEF/1700 _Archfiend Duke Of Demise_ (DARK) Level 9 Fiend/Fusion/Effect “Archfiend Earl Of Demise” + “Archfiend Headless Knight” This cards original attribute is always also EARTH. Must either be fusion summoned with the above materials, or be special summoned by its own effects. You can special summon this card from your extra deck or GY by tributing the above cards from your hand or field (This is treated as a fusion summon.) This fusion summoned card gains the effects of its fusion materials until it is banished or returned to the extra deck. Once per turn (Quick effect), you can activate each of the following effects: ⚪️ Discard 1 card: Add 1 “Archfiend” card that from your GY or banish zone to your hand. ⚪️ Target 1 facedown card on your field: while this card is face-up on the field, that card is unaffected by card effects while facedown. ⚪️ If you would role any number of die for a card effect, you can roll again up to the number of face-up “Archfiend” monsters you control, then pick the result of your choice from any of the die rolls for that effect. _During each of your standby phases, pay 500 LP or return this card to your extra deck._ ATK/3450 DEF/2400
@@kindlingking Well I wanted to play into what they seemed like to me in their fusion… The Earl is the powerhouse half, indestructible by battle and absolutely relentless. Once it draws blood it could let loose in a frenzy of violence where it draws strength from its enemies into itself and you. The knight is the defensive half, warding off destruction by more indirect means, while engaging in battle on as much its own terms as it can manage as it decides their enemies battle position beforehand and silences their magics and trickery until their bout has finished either way. And their fusion, the Duke, was made to be as true a fusion between the two as possible, combining their ATK/DEF, original attributes and even their effects (IF properly fusion summoned with its stated materials, and the wording of the effect means that using fusion substitutes partially defeats the point of the card, while cheating it out all together fully robs it of its battle potential.) Beyond that a fusion should be more then the sum of its parts, so the Duke adds utility effects in addition to the earls brute force and the knights durability. Tying them to the archfiends super-archetype (as there are many branching sub-archetypes of it from over the years) is the cherry on the top. Oh, and since this is meant to invoke the older ways of playing the game, I threw in a protection effect in can confer on your facedown cards, to make it safer to use slower cards like traps and flip monsters while the Duke is up to protect them. So where exactly would you say I overdid it?
@@kindlingking OH, OH WAIT, I see a typo! I make the Duke a level 7 when it should have been level 9. Fixed it. Yeah, 3450 ATK would have been a tad much for a level 7, or even a rank 7 for that matter

There was actually an AMAZING channel for anime only cards reviewing all the best and worst ones. But she deleted all of her old videos. I really enjoyed watching them.
I get the feeling GX might be the focus of the next episode but I wanna comment on more broken DM anime nonsense: "Underworld Circle" is unironically one of the best cards Yugi runs that isn't some God Card or legendary dragon nonsense. "Disgraceful Charity" would also probably be dumb in gimmicky OTK decks. "Spider Web" is probably something they can print as filler. Certainly wouldn't impact the game, and the 2 duels it's used are pretty iconic. Same with "Attack Guidance Barrier". Curious to see how people would feel about something like Kaiba's "Command Silencer" being printed. "Roll of Fate" is a funny potential 6+ deck miller. It'd be a funny if they did what they did with that other broken gambling card Joey used and have it legal for a lone format. Noah Kaiba's "Giant Flood" feels like it'd be dumb in the modern game. Decks with a high spell card ratio would get a lot out of sniping potential starters and hand traps before making their plays. Being blunt this power creeps the hell out of "Dark Hole", even more than "Dark Hole" already is, which is a tad worrying in a gamestate sense. "Card Exchange" is just a powercrept "Exchange", its so stupid. I guess to maybe cover one of the wackier GX cards: Jaiden's "Code Change" is dumb, not overpowered, just wacky in the sense that it can easily be messed around with. Sorta like how a lot of cards mess around with something like "Last Turn". It's one of those cards that would certainly limit card design if it was in the game, much like cards that copy effects.
New Boss comes around and reveal OP monsters Kaiba: Pegasus! What cards are these?! Pegasus: Kaiba boy, this man has been around 10,000 years. How should I know, you dimwit! Konami doesn't release the armor cards to avoid this kind of scenarios: Player 1: I negate your attack... Player 2: Well i have more monsters... GO BURST KNUCKLE!!! *Punch him in the face*
I think they could rework the armor cards to have them equip to "player" token and if there is not player tokens they can special summon one and you can negate the destruction effect if killing one armor cards
as a person who made a custom deck with modified effects of armor cards, i can confidently say a battle phase focused deck like this would be GOATED. yeah it dies to a single interuption and it doesnt prevent your opponent from playing the goddamn game like most meta decks, but with some tweeks i can see it being a fun rouge option
The real reason Konami won't print the Armors cards isn't due to their effects, it's due to the lawsuits from all the assault charges they'd be responsible for.

The anime monsters that haven’t been printed yet were had broken effects and sometimes bizarre ones
Nice magic Segway lol good stuff as always!
Aw, cool! This was a topic I was hoping you'd cover.
you forgot to add Rebecca's Diamond Head Dragon, which is yet to be printed
Honestly don’t know if you have already done this but you could always do the cards that have different effects between the anime and real life. The ones that come to mind for me are the God cards.
Still waiting for Vrains season 2 archetypes to be released.
Drones, Armatos Legio, Stormriders and Hydradrive were all pretty cool.
It's been almost 4 years, we waited enough!
Ah yes, the Armor Monster, or what I like to call ─ the episode where both player fight each other to death.
Wdym fight? They literally out punched each other.
I would love to see the Clear, Darkness, and Doll archetypes get printed one day.
"Also banish it during the end phase of your opponents end phase ignoring other card effects(Imper Iron Wall)"
Okay analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
Snow Fairy from GX lol
That thing was obscene.

0:23 Ah. The Armor Monsters. the one anime deck that briefly turned YuGiOh Into Saint seiya
Imagine playing a casual duel and see your opponent gets some metal gloves and beats tf out of you, immediately tier 0
I feel that the Orichalos archetype should have had more cards. More monsters, spells, & traps.
Wish Konami release “Sky Core, Granel Core, Wisel Core”
I know officially the anime version of Graverobber "steals" a card, but I rewatched episode 64 and Joey doesn't use that term. Does anyone know why we all seem to think that? None of the duelists keep the card and usually we just see them either summon the monster or get the spell or magic card in their hand or facedown (it's a little loose) so I assumed it was what the characters said.
These are cool anime exclusive cards :)
If I were to rework The Duke and it’s fusion materials as better cards for this day and age…
_Archfiend Earl Of Demise_ (DARK)
Level 5
Fiend/effect
_You can special summon this card from your GY if a monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect (quick effect). Cannot be destroyed by battle. This card deals piercing battle damage, can attack again in a row after it battles an opponents monster, and if this card deal battle damage this cards ATK/DEF and your LP are increased by any battle damage dealt._
ATK/2000 DEF/700
_Archfiend Headless Knight_ (EARTH)
Level 4
Fiend/effect
_You can special summon this card from your GY if your opponent targets a monster you control for battle or card effects. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card battles, you can change the battle position of the monster it battles and/or negate its effects until the end of the battle phase._
ATK/1450 DEF/1700
_Archfiend Duke Of Demise_ (DARK)
Level 9
Fiend/Fusion/Effect
“Archfiend Earl Of Demise” + “Archfiend Headless Knight”
This cards original attribute is always also EARTH. Once per turn (Quick effect), you can activate each of the following effects:
⚪️ Discard 1 card: Add 1 “Archfiend” card that from your GY or banish zone to your hand.
_During each of your standby phases, pay 500 LP or return this card to your extra deck._
ATK/3450 DEF/2400
I think you pushed those cards a bit too much
@@kindlingking
Well I wanted to play into what they seemed like to me in their fusion…
The Earl is the powerhouse half, indestructible by battle and absolutely relentless.
@@kindlingking
OH, OH WAIT, I see a typo! I make the Duke a level 7 when it should have been level 9. Fixed it.
Yeah, 3450 ATK would have been a tad much for a level 7, or even a rank 7 for that matter
Armor cards truly requires being locked away from Extra Deck for avoiding solitaire ED toolbox abuse because we already have enough of it nowadays.....
Shunoros looks like Shakkoumon
I want the other two rings of Orichalcos in the TCG. If the game isn't broken enough already for you it sure as hell will be when those cards will get released... lol
6-7 zones arent enough to some. 12? Not even bothering link shenanigans, expect the True Endymion wall of negates.
Would it be so hard to make Graverobber’s text “Target 1 card in your opponent’s GY; add it to your hand.”
Maybe it might even see meta play to use your opponent’s staples….
There was actually an AMAZING channel for anime only cards reviewing all the best and worst ones. But she deleted all of her old videos. I really enjoyed watching them.
It’s back. Her channel got hacked after allegations around her involving… bad stuff but she eventually got it back
@@streetgamer3452 I meant the videos from like 5 years ago, before transitioning. There were some really good ones!
what' the name of the channel tho

This popped up the same day i decided to rewatch yugioh in my native language
Dartz… how they massacred my boy. I still cry with what they did to his field spells and his monsters.
You didn't mention maiden in love, the best anime monster best boss monster
I get the feeling GX might be the focus of the next episode but I wanna comment on more broken DM anime nonsense:
"Underworld Circle" is unironically one of the best cards Yugi runs that isn't some God Card or legendary dragon nonsense.
I guess to maybe cover one of the wackier GX cards:
Jaiden's "Code Change" is dumb, not overpowered, just wacky in the sense that it can easily be messed around with. Sorta like how a lot of cards mess around with something like "Last Turn". It's one of those cards that would certainly limit card design if it was in the game, much like cards that copy effects.
they already printed the 5D's Spider Web, so if they print DM Spider Web they'll have to change its name slightly
My favorite DuelLogs video are the ones in which he talks about anime cards
New Boss comes around and reveal OP monsters
Kaiba: Pegasus! What cards are these?!
Pegasus: Kaiba boy, this man has been around 10,000 years. How should I know, you dimwit!
New Boss: *Laughs in Victory*
Atem: With the heart of the card and friendship, we will prevail over this evil!
*Thus prevails over the evil*
New Boss: Dafug?!
I would love to see more anime/manga exclusive cards!
Honestly I'm just shocked that out of all the wacky anime exclusive cards, TDL didn't bring up Infernity Zero
The mildly known side of Yu-Gi-Oh. Some cards were made for the anime. (I like your videos, they're great)
So you telling me that I can legally steal the ghost rare ash blossom with anime graverobber?
I love Zexal, but if you think Joey making Big Bang Dragon blow is silly, shining draw is absolitely absurd.
I have a running joke with some friends that Yuma's duel disk is just a printer and with Yugioh card maker on standby
Imagine using armour cards and then punching the guy across the table because you need to call the attack, would be the best card ever if printed.
Have you ever thought about comparing cards to their effect in YuGiOh Duelist of the Roses? With the whole board mechanic it uses, I’m sure there’s some interesting differences between some cards in that game and their real counterpart
Wish they had just released the Oricalcos cards with their anime effects, and the 'This Card Cannot Be Used in a Duel' text.
In the end, the opponent's armor cards were no match for Joey's plot armor
Graverobber real anime effect: Select 1 card from your opponent's graveyard if it is a monster special summon it, if it is a spell or trap card activate it.
Another thing might be video game exclusive effects. My favorite is DOTR Riryoku which might be the strongest burn card ever made
Unknown side of yugioh suggestion Yami Bakura’s Necro Twins and Counter Balance deck
Not sure how Active Guard is the most iconic. I would say that's the Psychic Armor Head or Big Bang Blow.
I never realized that Double Cloth was a Saint Sayia reference.
Konami doesn't release the armor cards to avoid this kind of scenarios:
Player 1: I negate your attack...
Player 2: Well i have more monsters... GO BURST KNUCKLE!!! *Punch him in the face*
The true anime exclusive card is pot of greed, because the characters can somehow figure out what the card does.
I think they could rework the armor cards to have them equip to "player" token and if there is not player tokens they can special summon one and you can negate the destruction effect if killing one armor cards
I forgot graverobber was a anime only card
When I was a kid, I would often duel against dozens of Orichalcos Soldiers at once just to kill time 😂
I really like the hot sauce cards and flipping the table
as a person who made a custom deck with modified effects of armor cards, i can confidently say a battle phase focused deck like this would be GOATED. yeah it dies to a single interuption and it doesnt prevent your opponent from playing the goddamn game like most meta decks, but with some tweeks i can see it being a fun rouge option
We need armor monsters that just turn duels into a game of Shor for shot.
I think Lord of red the ritual monster is supposed to be a node with that amor episode?
Valons amour deck is the one archetype I wish Konami put in the tcg
"you can use it as your hand" is that really the best way they could word that? Really??
If they ever flesh out the Orichalcos archetype all the existing cards will just be garnets
Plz do a part 2 of anime exclusive cards
