Thank you! Super late reply but hope someone find it useful: the hand guard I'm using is Barkbuster Storm model. These can be mounted single point either onto the handlebars or the bar-ends. It's not for adventure riding protection as much as 2-point design, but they sure protect your hands from cold winds. Of course if your bike can take 2-point attachment, you can mount that way, too.

I carry them on all rides. I am a big fan of Svart 701. Crazy light for its power and torque. Single cylinder thump is real and it puts smile on your face every single time. I've been riding for nearly 3 decades since I was a kid, and I honestly can say this bike is one of the funnest I've ever owned.
