Multitrack recording of the Sequential Prophet-5. All sounds are made with the Prophet-5. All processing in Ableton Live. Stems of unprocessed individual audio tracks available at payhip.com/b/0...
Thought it was a decent mix, but I have to admit I broke the rule of not recording and mixing on the same day. So, maybe my ears were a bit tired. Any advice? Thanks!
@@rimela hi-pass everything using different cutoff frequencies and then use a bell eq to knock out some db in that region (250-400) on tracks that you think may add too much there. I can't tell how much without listening to the tracks, but if you clean them up a bit I think it would work better.
@@liantrosretrospectiva4134 Many thanks for this! The Prophet is fairly heavy on the low and mid-low end, will take this into account better in my next mixes. Speaking of mixing: I've made the stems of all unprocessed individual audio tracks available at payhip.com/b/0qHcB So if you want to hear the clean tracks straight out of the Prophet-5, use specific sounds out of this demo, or want to make your own (re)mixes, you're welcome!
2:00 I thought this was a scene from the tron movie for a second. Pretty sweet! I think the song was from Daft Punk.
With quality content like this, I cannot understand why this channel has so few subscribers.
Another great demo. Thanks for sharing, mate. I could listen to your music all day.
Thanks! And please do 😀
It’s always fun and a sure click when we’re talking Profit 5. So nice sounds 👍
Thanks Hurricane!
Fantastic sound🤩
one of you best demos, for sure.
Thank you!
Sounds great!😀
Thanks Mike!
The fm type bells were a revelation. I still dream of having one. If behringer get theirs close I will be happy.
I think the mix sounds fantastic! Great demo of the P5 sound!
Thanks! I'm really glad to hear this
Well done one of the best synth ever… great music mate
Love the mix. The last piece is so DMesque, maybe it’s the metallic percussion you incorporated in the track.
Thanks Edgard! For the last piece I used an analogue sequencer, that contributes as well I think.
Fantastic!!
Amazing!
beautiful 🎹
Thanks Nicolas
rev 4?
Yes, it’s the Rev 4
rev4 100%
beautiful
Thanks!
muddy mix, too dense in the region of 450-400 hz

@@rimela great! I´ll check them, thanks
I like the mix. The P5 is a midrange-heavy synth, and there‘s no other instrument (guitar) competing with it. So why not?
Great music anyway.
