    Absolutely ANY footage of this LEGEND in action is Hugely appreciated.
    I watched Sammy several times,& set the world 1/4 mile record at the Pod with my Father as a boy.
    (I was with me DAD, EH? With a PITT PASS?! )
    Lifelong shared memories created by something so Gobsmackingly astounding and spectacular,Atmosphericly, Visually and Audibly, Fxcking HISTORIC, and DEATH DEFYING;
    ( I saw when Sammy had a blow out 200 metres up the track,barrel roll mid air still rocket powered and go thru the lights on the roof at over 200 mph).
    Thankfully Sammy came back down the track sat on a bonnet with a mild concussion (we were told)
    Sammy gave us that, Me and Dad: It still resonates, pulling me back to when I was a mere boy and my Father worked long 6 day weeks; paid the mortgage and endless bills..
    Then on Sunday Dad took me (A LOONG) drive each way and paid big for us both to see these wonders on his day off.(Thats the o/time gone on recreation)
    It never fails to humble me now when I think about the sacrifices and effort involved by my Parents to seed interests and show me excellence.
    And a 'Nice Guy' Genius Daredevil like Sammy Miller to entertain/enthral/
    Enthuse and Inspire people to think outside the box and 'Reach'.
    I am middle aged (+) now and my parents are still healthy and active,thankfully.
    There are NEVER any arguments,only warmth and respect on the worst day.
    THANK YOU MR 'SLAMMIN' SAMMY MILLER!
    I am going to put this on his/an obit so his family know his spark still touches lives.
    (If I can).

    Saw him several times at Pod in the late 70s. 3 second passes regularly. I used have some great pictures I took of this car staging. Loved going to Santa Pod in those days.
