Hello. Thank you for your wonderful videos, and your expert information. I bought an Ohana Express cutting almost a year ago, and it just have rooted in water.
I’ve just put it into soil. It has been very stubborn so far, but with luck, I’ll have fruit in two years? My gosh. Such a long time to wait, and I’m not a patient person!
I live in Florida. My other varieties are doing well, and I expect some fruit this summer.
Thanks again for all of your effort in helping the Dragon Fruit community.

I was fortunate to be given a couple of cuttings last spring and am new to growing this plant but I am interested in growing more, specifically the Ohana Express.

Thanks for all the good information about eating & growing Dragon Fruit & plants. I grew up on a farm & have been gardening most of my life, & have always enjoyed growing cactus and succulents. But, without a green-house, my climate wouldn’t be very conducive for growing Dragon Fruit. I’m just moving to Northern California (Redding area) and it’s still too cold in the winter, and probably too hot in the summer compared to Orange County or San Diego, but I’d like to give it a go, because my family and I love eating Dragon Fruit-but unless I can grow it, I’ll never be able to afford to buy enough to satisfy my family and I- and it sounds like the best flavors are missed out, if you’re having to buy it in the store, anyway.
I noticed your website doesn’t work yet, and this video (listed as one month old) referred to you “working on my website.“ For those of us not involved with social media, is there a way to contact you about purchasing Dragon Fruit starts (other than to wait for your website to come up)? THANKS!

Hi Richard! Some days ago I started to notice some buds in my dragon fruit growing weirdly, I did some researches on the internet and found out that buds becomes branches when the weather becomes not good to make the plant produce flowers. Have you ever experienced this with your plants? Maybe its a good idea for a new video...

Quick question and I hope someone can answer it. I have some huge palora plants that I’ve grown from seed and are nearly 2 yrs old. They started to bloom some buds about a month ago and just last night a flower has opened!!🥰👍🏼🤙🏼🙏🏼 Inly thing is that I thought dragonfruit doesn’t bloom until summer into fall? Isn’t it a bit early? I mean, no complaints 🤣 but it just kinda shocked me to see it this early. Or it doesn’t matter? I’m in zone 12b Hawaii. Maybe that’s why? Warm all year round.

You can transplant them as soon as they start to pop roots! They are very hardy and can take a transplant without shock and settle in their new home fairly quick! Giving it more root space to grow and building a trellis will help you get them to start producing fruit.

Hi Richard. I'm from South Africa. Unfortunately, we are not as lucky as you guys where dragon fruit plants are sold in plant nurseries, so most of my plants are grafted plants. Vietnamese White root stock and seedlings of fruits I get or buy from friends as the scions. I watched a video of you 8 months ago explaining the L-graft. I recently tried the same with seedlings grafted on to old-growth Vietnamese White root stock. It worked. I'll send you photos if you can send me a whatsapp acount. I am not on FB or Instagram. Maybe you can make a video on TH-cam. Love your channel Kind regards Jacques
