  • We know our 2021 Defender 110 is a good lookin' beast! But what if we can take it to the next level? A little more aggressive, maybe? We visited Sarek Autowerke in Glen Allen, VA, to deliver just that. Thanks to Sarek Autowerke, who specializes in Land Rovers and LR custom builds, we are now one of four New Defenders sporting this new look. Enjoy the transformation!!

    Bonkers! Awesome build and quality work. Love the bumpers but sadly over here in the UK and Europe we're not allowed them. Need to look at engine bay battery set up in the D250.

    Nice build! Ralf Sarek and his team are creating purposeful Land Rover mods. Well done Allen!

    Looks well made. Is it not a bit of overkill? Especially the winch…
    I am all about “form follows function” but I prefer something a little less industrial… but that’s only my opinion. 😁
    Good on you for going this route, though!

      Yes, it's probably a bit overkill but you'll never know when you're going to need it. It looks awesome though, right? :)

    Did yall think about waiting for the lucky8 bumper at all? Was the main reason to go for this bumper the ability to access the winch?

    • @afterthelandroverexperience
      @afterthelandroverexperience  ปีที่แล้ว

      Was seriously thinking about it but there’s no ETA on when they’ll be ready at the moment…

    Great video. Why the new muffler? Would the stock one not fit with the new rear bumper?

    • @iannater7072
      @iannater7072 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ya they require you to change the exhaust for that bumper

      The new one tucks higher. The old one would have looked weird with everything open back there now. The new one also sounds a bit better but that wasn’t the main reason.

    Hey 👋!
    Love you channel! What you did with the old winch? I ordered a a 110 P400 and wanted to add a winch, mine comes in March 20th, can’t wait🤗

      I have the winch set up still, and was going to sell it. Send me a message via our website if you want it.

      HAHA Our warranty has been MIA for a while now. I'm going to guess that anything tied to this is probably void...

    What's the make of the exhaust. Would love to be able to tuck it up a little more

    Curious why the old winch needed to be replaced?

    • @afterthelandroverexperience
      @afterthelandroverexperience  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Didn’t need to be replaced, but I did want something more powerful that sits up and away from water. Also, super easy to reach to function.

      @@afterthelandroverexperience That makes sense. Glad to hear the other was good for smaller tasks. That’s the one I plan to put on mine if my Defender ever gets here. But I won’t put quite the strain on it that y’all do. PS- Love the videos and I live near Charlotte so have been to the LR Experience at the Biltmore a few times. 🙂

    Any guesses on how much weight was added?

    I wonder if it wouldn't be better or cheaper to just revamp the actually iconic Defender with all the tech and luxuries instead of hacking at the most stupid non-moding design land rover ever had. well I'm biased pro for solid axles fourbies anyways. Nice work though.

    I love the back bumper but this front one.. it doesn’t fit the overall aesthetic at all in my opinion..
