Oh yeah! Looks like ya got er all blinged out. I have been thinking about the suspension kit for my 400. It is real squishy when you dog into a good size log. Nice mods Genin. Thanks for sharing 👊🏻
The 500 I took long time to make it to my area. I wanted new saw. I finally found a 500 I and picked it up and it just felt cheap. So I bought a 572. I sure the suspension upgrade may have Made lot difference
@@765Guys I run husky for over 20 years. There hard to beat. I sure 500 be great saw. But for the money the 572 was my choice. I got old 395 xp it to big saw for me to be lugging around. I not 20 no more lol
Do you find a big difference in vibration to your hands with the stiffer suspension? I like the idea of stiffer suspension but sometimes my hands go numb from the vibrations on my old ms440. I just picked up a new 500i and haven’t decided on all the mods I want to do to it.
Thanks for the reply! I ended up too excited to hold off, so I placed my order from west coast saws last night. I got their suspension kit 👍🏼 as well as their clutch cover, and bark box and better air filter kit from Egan performance. Can’t wait!
@@765GuysJust keep an eye on that ingestion. I know these 500s have issue with filtration and poor filter design That's the only reason I put the max flow on mine
Man...............would you PLEASE just get to running that thing on video??? 🙂 LOL. I've got the 500 as well, but I've only got about 5 tanks run through mine so far. I love watching 500 cutting videos, and considering how renown and desired this saw is, to me there just doesn't seem like there are "that many" videos of it out there.
Morning Genin ! Nice mods ! I have done the same on my 362C, 462RC and of course the first was the 500i. Except for the suspension mod…..taking a time out on that till I run one with that mod. My old arthritic hands enjoy the soft side lmao. But willing to try one of these saws out with the Suspension Mod, who knows, might have to get on board with that too. The cover really does move the chips and noodles thru much faster and smoother IMHO. Enjoy your new awesome saw and mods…..hard to beat West Coast Saws ! 🪵⛓🪚👍👏🇺🇸 Rick
@@765Guys love the old 362c, it was my first “Pro” saw. I don’t have many videos to say the least, but I do have a few up with some mods….having had the 500i now over 3 years, it was the first “Mod” saw. I have no computer skills or video skills either, but you can see some of the saws, if you care to take the time 😎. Enjoy that new 500i, they are FANtastic saws! Rick PS: The little MS 261 is “Next” to get the treatment 😁 Actually I have to correct what I said. My “First” Pro saw was the old 260 “Pro”, it was a magnesium body pro saw, but being so small, I never really think of it as a PRO saw, though it is awesome, cuts great and super light…..being I only had a 16” bar on it, well it’s hard to think of as a Pro 🤩
Frickin sweet Genin! Awesome upgrades man!!👍👊👍
Thanks 👍
It's gonna be a beast, they definitely sound wicked with the bark box
Sounds real good when it’s not 4 stroking!

I don’t think wcs makes one for the 400 but maybe somone else does? Thanks for watching Todd!
Cool stuff, take care
Thanks!
@@765Guys my pleasure

The mods are sweet , can’t believe you are going to make us wait to see it in action with the mods !!!! 👍🏻🪵🪵
Thanks del! I’ve got a short cutting video posting tomorrow morning so check back!
You are passionate about your powersaws Genin. Nice mods. Very sensible ❤

I do love chainsaws!
Went from 25" to 32" on my 500i. I definitely need a suspension kit soon.
It’ll help!
How come you never ran the saw on the video?!? I was so excited. Love WCSaw
There’s lots of 500 videos on my channel, check them out!

572xp is an all around tough saw to beat. Durable and powerful!

I went with Exile performance bark box because it is alot better made and the outlet is face to the recoil.
So it'll melt the plastic on your handle?

No, I have the faller suspension on my 462 as well. Honestly I’ve never ran a saw that has made my hands go numb but I’ve not run older saws.

Hey, good stuff, but I couldn't bring myself to listen with only one channel of audio. Might look into that
I will look into that, thank you for your input!
No foam filter? Nice upgrades bud!
Thanks! No foam filter for me, I don’t want to worry about cleaning and oiling it. Rather just bang out a paper filter and replace it as needed.

I’m wanting to duplicate you’re 500i To my 500i. Just picked it up today. What was the total for parts if I may ?? Thank you T.S. USMC-VFW🇺🇸
There she is. Aint she pretty. Have fun with it!
