Nevermind so many of those girls grow up to be entitled women who can't handle being told no, put their fathers before their husbands, threaten harm to boyfriends via father, and believe men are obligated to not only pay for everything but then also come home and dote on her without doing much in return.

      My husband is the eldest of 4 boys. 3 are divorced / seperated from the mothers of their children. She was ALWAYS interfering in our marriage, and even cancelled my Bachelorette party by telling everyone we called off the wedding because I'd cheated! ( Never happened) I only found out when no one showed up, and called one of my friends.
      It was so bad, my father in law divorced her because of the things she'd do to dry and break up my marriage! I put up with it for years, until I finally had enough! He never said anything to his mum about the horrible abuse she put me through, so I left after 12 years ( and 4 kids). He is 52 years old, and STILL lives with her!! One night she told me “you love brother more” and I was SHOCKED and told her absolutely not, I love you both so much and the same, but she said “but you always get him out of the car first.”

    6:50 You can see how he doesn't want to be with his mom and pushes her away and decides to be with his wife. Toxic boy moms are terrible, there abusively protective behavior makes their "precious boys" want to escape because their moms are over the top crazy, he wants to have at least ONE moment with his wife in his moms presence but i guess his mom won't let him and his wife be. I cant imagen how hard is gonna be for him when he has children and his children have to deal with a grandma like that.

      So true. But there's another side to being raised by a Boy Mom. I was the eldest of 3 (2 girls, 1 boy, 1 year apart per child) and my sister and I are happily married/engaged, living separately from our parents, and well-adjusted (thanks in part to our Dad who filled the maternal role for most of our lives). Meanwhile my brother is still living with Mom, single and is struggling in his chosen career. But in her eyes, he's the absolute best thing ever.

    I'm a daughter who grew up with my mother acting like this towards my brother. I'm 20 now and it certainly impacts a hell of a lot more than most people realise. In my case, it doesn't just mean my brother was prioritised over me at all times, leading to me feeling unloved for no reason. It also means my brother can do no wrong at all. He became incredibly violent and would break things when things wouldn't go his way (he's 18, I would sleep with a chair against my door because his rages were that intense), as my mum can't shield him forever from the world, he became an alcoholic and ran away from home because my parents wouldn't buy him a car after he crashed my mum's one and tried to hide it by super gluing things back together, I haven't seen him in a year.
    When trying to address things, my mum still doesn't think there's anything wrong, even though my brother called her every swear in the book and told her to delete herself, "he's just having a bad day" making endless excuses for his verbal, physical abuse, his stealing, his alcoholism. As my dad and I try and protect her and everyone else from getting hurt, we're the bad guys for going against my brother. So it's no wonder the tension resulted in my parents now splitting up. It destroys everything, and all for what? A weird obsesson over what your kid has in their pants for some reason? Go to therapy. Better yet, don't have kids.

    I'm currently doing a refresher course in Safeguarding children, and this video rang alarm bells. Favouritism is a "sign from the abuser" in the "emotional abuse" section of my coursework. If a parent openly favours one or more siblings, that is an indicator of emotional abuse. Obviously it's not the sole cause for concern, you need to keep an eye out for other signs. However, it is explicitly written that favouritism is something to keep an eye on.

  • @cathytaylor533
    @cathytaylor533 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    I know this isnt necessary to right a paragraph but i just cant get over it.
    This is basically neglect to their daughters. This is also basically predator acting to their own child, their little boys. They ignore their own daughters, dont gjve them attention, use them for veiws, as well as basically not care about them. But they express predatory acts to their sons, kissing them (im not saying most of them), letting the child smack your butt, as well as giving an unnecessary amount of attention. They need to treat both of their sons equally, teaching them how to cook, clean, fold laundry, and other necessities that EVERYONE should be taught. They treat their daughters like absolute trash, and their sons like theh are the kings.
    This also ties with the child predatory behavior to their sons. They let the sons touch them inappropriately, kiss them (kissing them on the forehead or cheek is completely fine) , and also letting them smack intimate places that no one nut your lover can touch. This is teaching the sons that they can treat all women and girls like that, and also abuse them. And it implies you are attracted to tour own son. If a man did this with his daughter then everyone would be calling the cops and swarming him, but kf a woman dkes thid with her son it's considered okay??
    The daughters will soon realize they were never wanted as they get older, which can lead to many mental issues and problems. This will also teach them that men abusing and groping them is completely fine and totally normal. It's telling everyone you hate your daughters and neglect them, even when they say "I love my daughters just as much as my sons!" This type of behavior is toxic, and needs to be addressed by do much more people. It can affect the daughter and sons life so much, and also the people they meet and decide to love.

    This is triggering horrible memories with my mother in law. She hated how in love with me my husband is and even told me "I wanted him with brittany" (his first gf who would kiss her ass constantly and who my husband wasn't that interested in). We lived with her for 2 years and it was HELL! She did everything she could to make me leave him. While he was at work, she treated me like absolute shit then he would come home and she would talk to me in a baby voice and call me "emmy" like we were best friends. She would then talk bad about me in a group chat with her husband, my husband, and my brother in law. Saying, "She finally did the dishes, but I wanted to take a bath, so now there's no hot water," even though I always did the dishes. Or "maybe someone needs to teach Emmy how to mop better because there was still dog hair on the floor," but I can't stop the dogs from walking on the floor after I fuxking mop! She even screamed at me for 8 days because I CLOSED the lid to the salt shaker which meant I was directly disrespecting her because I was supposed to know to leave it open for her when she wanted to use it!?!?! Thank God she's out of our lives now, and my husband was able to see how narcissistic she is....

      Oh my wordd....your mother in law has to understand that you are NOT her servant...if she wants one, she needs to hire one herself! Parents in law NEVER has a right to force their children in law to do ANYTHING for them, eventhough it is a good thing! You are there to be with your husband, NOT with his parents who you never even sign up for...

    These moms acting like they dating theirs sons. It's a seriously creepy obsession that fucks with men's development. These are not going to be well rounded kids sadly. itd always gonna be a competition. She's horrible so is any mother jealous of a teenager. Or their sons gf. True love?!?! She's seriously neglectful to their daughters and obsessed with her boy in an unhealthy way. She needs to head to therapy. Likely so will her kids. I feel sorry for the girls in these families. They clearly are obsessed. And see their boys as a future spouse not their kid.

At that age it makes sense if they do that on a one off because they're still learning social cues, boundaries and you know life but that also that needs to be nipped in the bud as quickly as possible. Having teen and pre-teen kids smack their mom's bum is disturbing on so many level 🤢
