Unpopular of the most unpopular opinions, Manon needed more time to work on herself because she was so self assured that she was a fan favourite that she hardly put in work and still debuted. Go watch the full series.
Unpopular opinion, but Manon got hate for no reason at all. I think because she was the first girl to be brought in for training after the others had been there for months. They just hated her, I don't know if you guys remember, but before she came, they were all hating on her and stalking her and then when she came, they were so fake and they excluded her in everything, of course the poor girl is gonna be insecure, and I understand why she missed classes. She probably thought she would never debut with the way they all treated her and she was a beginner and last in everything. I don't think she was self assured of being a fan favorite because that was before they went public. We can actually only see her working really hard after they went public. The other girls who came in after her at least came in together and by the time they came in the other girls already knew like, oh we're gonna get more people we need 20 people. I don't think she needed more work. You can tell in the missions that her vocals are good and stable and she dances really well and she has that star quality that makes everyone notice her. What other work could be done? I think she gets hate because she's very popular for being pretty. But some girls are only popular because of their country votes lol. It doesn't matter how much work you put in if you're not good. If we were to choose by skill set, Nayoung, Samara and Lara should've made it as lead vocals, Emily, Daniela and Megan as lead dancers. Manon, Ezrela, Marquise and yongchae as lead visuals and performers, even though these four are not the best in vocals or dance, but they're the most stable during performances There were so many other girls that I thought deserved to debut as well, but sadly they were not popular with the fans. And that's why we have the group we have now. Again, that's just my opinion.
@@NicoleMylene tbh my opinion on her has changed since I wrote the comment….the show was crazy fucked up and scripted, and them girls had it out for her from the beginning. I don’t see why Adela was blaming MANON for her getting eliminated…it doesn’t make sense because Manon didn’t vote her out did she? Plus I find it hella weird how they complained about her breaking rules and all that when they didn’t even live together so how the hell did they see her breaking rules? The producers CHOSE manon late and then expected her to somehow be secure and dance like a robot. It’s so stupid and I honestly don’t agree with whatever shit they put into that show. I’m sorry for blaming her before, I only looked at the surface but I’ve dug deeper since then. Also this is kinda disconnected but Katseye had a show somewhere and their outfits were ridiculous… you could literally see their a** cheeks and yet if that had been a fully Korean girl group people would be complaining about how they’re being sexualised etc. I think the company has it out for the whole group, being American somehow. Idk why they made them then if they ain’t gonna take care atleast of their mental health and privacy.
After watching the docu, i felt bad for some girls in the show like mei, ua, celeste and marquise. I think they don't have as much screentime and interview like the other girls. I get that they joined later but they were also in the academy.
Nah I actually kinda messed with Iliya until she went scorched earth on the girls when she answered the EXACT same question. She got more votes than some other girls but they didn’t get so snarky.

I’m not sure why so many people are bothered by the members being asked to pick who they would want in a group/eliminated. Yes it was a very tense moment that must’ve been difficult for them, but this is also very normal standard questions for trainees. Most groups out there were asked things like this as lineups got decided, even if it was never shown to the public. Since there’s not a lot of behind the scenes content to thoroughly get to know the contestants skills and personalities I actually really valued getting to see this input from the members since they would know best.
7:47 idk, in my opinion it WAS a white girl complaining. Nationality may have something to do with the voting, but also visuals and personally, which should not matter that much but they always do (I don't see her complaining bc more people are gonna vote for her just bc she is cute and white). If she had enough talent she shouldn't worry about that.
So you completely missed the fact where one of the producers pointed put people were voting based on country huh? Get your facts straight because she was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
Americans doing too much...honestly I barely notice Lara as an American first I always go oh Indian....sure as hell Americans arent voting for her that I know!!! It's Indian vs America
how? shes not wrong the American girls struggle with getting votes because Americans dont push or have the urgency to vote and even if they did, theres so many Americans

How's it feel to be right?
Unpopular of the most unpopular opinions, Manon needed more time to work on herself because she was so self assured that she was a fan favourite that she hardly put in work and still debuted. Go watch the full series.
hah? i seen ts like the past 5 vids of katseye and DA related vids i watched
id even say its one of the most popular opinions
@@Ourelleetsy Im glad it’s becoming a known opinion, I just added that so I don’t seem like I’m trying to command her life and the companies decisions
The group was Now United. They are the 1st actual ever global pop group before vcha or dream academy
There was Boys World.
@@SakuOhno boys world isn’t global like now United. Now United actually has kids born in different countries coming together m. And they’ve been together since 2016
How can in a "global" selection like this an ENTIRE continent NOT BE REPRESENTED?
Where is 1 African girl? Are there no girls in Africa? What's the programs direction to say about this?
Manon is half Ghanaian
@@Blue_Theerapanyakul She's born and raised in Switzerland, as she said herself in her intro video, which as we all know, makes her a Swiss girl. She also holds the Swiss flag and never self-identified as Ghanian, as she was not born nor raised in Ghana, so she's obviously not Ghanian.
@@tgbateriashe has mentioned shes ghanian many times and always brings it up weird ur dismissing that
@@tgbateriashe herself has said she reps both which puts her at an advantage cause shes the only European and African representative
@@lillcutie6189 we need someone who has lived or is living in the Africa continent.

The group samara auditioned for is called "now united" it's the first global pop group of the world (with one people from each country) i'm a big fan of them, samara didn't make it because at the time she was fourteen and some members were like, 24, but she was so talented already..
its like olympics its like eurovision, country vs country
EZRELAAAAAA I love her shes so mf funny
Bro mei DESERVES to debut
Why Hybe put Manon in the group ? After all the negative things which we watched about her
🤡
Just so everyone know the candy Swedish fish is not actually from Sweden.. we do in fact not even sell it here as far as I know
It shouldve been 7 members and with marquise
It shoulda been 2 groups
I’m not sure why so many people are bothered by the members being asked to pick who they would want in a group/eliminated. Yes it was a very tense moment that must’ve been difficult for them, but this is also very normal standard questions for trainees. Most groups out there were asked things like this as lineups got decided, even if it was never shown to the public.
Since there’s not a lot of behind the scenes content to thoroughly get to know the contestants skills and personalities I actually really valued getting to see this input from the members since they would know best.
How can i watch this
manon ate slayed devoured
3:37 Not this clip llmaoijoi
The captions doesn't even make any sense. Flop
Do u hate Taylor Swift?
Pls let us not debut any minors this ain’t a kpop gg🫠🤦🏻♀️
I have so many problems with this entire program. One of them being that some of them are minors.

Americans doing too much...honestly I barely notice Lara as an American first
I always go oh Indian....sure as hell Americans arent voting for her that I know!!!
It's Indian vs America
Lara and Karlee, don't really see them as Americans, for me they're "oh, India and Hawaii, cool"
tbh majority of indian audience don't even know about this show
"its really hard for us amareicans" ngl as a brazillian this made me laugh
In context the comment made sense though
how? shes not wrong the American girls struggle with getting votes because Americans dont push or have the urgency to vote and even if they did, theres so many Americans
@@annie.hi. I don't think it does. It was hard for her, not for all the american contests. It was hard for her because she was one of the least popular american contestants and one of the least popular of all the contastants overall. But there are american contestants who were popular like Lara, Daniela and Emily, so for me, it doesn't make sense. This is the kind of comment that wouldn't make sense in almost any context
@@gicelemiranda4245 Emily didn’t rank very high in the last elimination either, even though she is performing very well. Lara is Indian American so that is different. It’s true that Americans don’t vote with the same pride for their country mentality, so that becomes a disadvantage if other contestants are getting votes based on their country of origin. This is what I meant by context.
what are you implying with being brazillian lol?
HELPPPPP “ITS REALLY HARD FOR US AMERCIANS” GURL STFU YALL HAVE IT EASY FR
She wasn’t talking about life in america lol she meant that Americans are gonna support her just bc she’s from america, which is very much true, she just worded that weird
