i understand why some people have hesitations abt manon, but looking at it from a business standpoint, she has an incredibly loyal fanbase and if we are speaking of stage presence, that is something that can be easily learned (mind you shes been training for 2 MONTHS). not to mention she is the only visual left in the show

The trainer asked Nayoung how she was doing in the program, as she had noticed that Nayoung seemed a bit off during their practices. Nayoung realized that she wanted to be a solo artist, and I think the judges took her choice into consideration.

Daniela, Sophia and Lara are a MUST for the group. You've got the main and lead singer and all-around center right there. For the last 3 we need more dancers, but who can still keep up vocally. So I'd go with Megan, Manon, and Ezrela.
Manon is a very weak dancer and performer, she only has one facial expression. She is a strong vocalist because she has a beautiful voice, but she needs to work on the rest. And being beautiful is so easy for her, she is really pretty.

Nayoung has a well developed vocal technique and Lara has a well developed vocal style! They are both amazing but I think Nayoung vocals excels better that’s why she can adapt to any concept! It’s a pity she didn’t debut!

I used to do theatre with Megan when she was little, and it’s so great to see her growth and how far she’s come! I love that other people are recognizing her talent and passion for performing, and I’m just so proud of her!
I can see Nayoung as a successful solo artist in Korea, her voice and range is similar to IU and her voice also suits Korean OSTs. I'm rooting for her and waiting for her debut ❤

They're clearly from different nationalities and are representing Switzerland (Europe) and Brazil (South America) respectively. The show doesn't see two black girls. They see a Brazilian and a Swiss. Likewise the show doesn't see two Indians because no one is representing India on that show. What they see is an American (Lara) and an Australian (Ezrela). If Lara and Ezrela were to debut at the same time. It's going to be the debut of an Australian contestant and the American contestant. Saying Hybe won't debut two black girls is like saying Hybe won't debut two South East Asian girls. And the South East Asian girls on the show are the girls from the Philippines and Thailand.
I absolutely agree that Sophia got that Leader vibes. I really hope Geffen gets to debut Sophia, Lara and Daniela. They are absolutely talented, they have showcased their talents and are continuing to prove that they got what it takes to debut.
I trained with Marquise for a few months in 2021 and she is just the sweetest little soul. I can’t believe how much she’s grown in such a short amount of time and I just know she’ll continue to improve from here, she’s an incredibly hard worker ❤️ So proud of her and hoping people will continue to support her and make her dream come true. She is an absolute sweetheart ❤️

A Girl Group’s members are not based solely on talent by any means. Ethnicity, languages spoken, looks, personality and Nationality will play an important role in this particular case. i.e. Yoonchae will debut since it’s a k-pop style group under a Korean label and they need at least one Korean member to engage domestic audience.
Daniela, Sophia and Lara are the best trio to ever exist in Dream Academy, I won't be surprised if they debut, from Mission 1 to Mission 3 they've shown nothing but improvement and made their way up to everyone's Lineup, honestly! I am also rooting SO MUCH for Marquise, she improved for me and she had shown more and more confidence each Mission, in Mission 3 she finally let go!
We’ve always perceived that high range vocals are good vocals, but the rest of them are mostly nasal, which helps Manon standout. To also consider that this is going to be a global girl group.
No fr for harmonies we literally need her.Look at the original destiny’s child with their member Latoya.Their harmonies back then were so full and rich because they had someone to do the alto for them.Honestly people don’t even consider that when choosing a group .This isn’t a K-pop group so we have to choose members that can utilize the best.Everyone has their own roles and when everyone has that high pitched voice it’s gonna be hard to form impressive and deep harmonies.Manon isn’t only a visual and I keep telling that people she is actually really needed in this group.(With high pitch I mean like sopranos with higher tessuras idk if I spelled that correctly).

The judges said in the beginning, our votes are important to the show (they save the top spots), but it’s ultimately their decision in the end. MY TOP MEMBERS: 1. Sophia (Philippine/South East Asian Rep) - AMAZING vocals and good dancer. Also a very hard worker! It’s very clear to the public why she’s been ranking 1st all this time!!!❤️🔥 2. Lara (Indian/South Central Asian Rep) - POWERFUL singer and great stage presence. A main vocalist FR and another person who has shown why they have been ranked high consistently and never dropped in ranks!!!❤️🔥 3. Yoonchae (Korean/East Asian Rep) - good singer and dancer. Very hardworking. Kinda underrated, but since Nayoung is gone the spot was lowkey given to her!!!❤️🔥 4. Daniela (Latin/Caribbean/American Rep) - a true all rounder and great leader. Her vocals shine in each mission, but her dancing is a true piece and she has a great aura around her. Main dancer FR!!!!❤️🔥 5. Samara (Afro and South American/Brazilian Rep) - very soulful and soothing singer. Very expressive and good dancer too. She shines every time there’s a mission and with every doubt that comes across her she proves people wrong!!!❤️🔥 6. Megan (European and Chinese/American Rep) - AMAZING stage presence, singing, breath control. Has been complimented as one of the BEST at this all while being a great dancer. Her stage presence is strong and has stuck out from the beginning. She consistently improves and is HEAVILY underrated!!!❤️🔥 This group makes the MOST sense globally and lineup wise as they all blend in well together and can do many concepts (plus they are the most ready)! They also represent many areas of the world, without one member taking over another spot! Though I really truly hope HYBE pulls a JYP and adds members to the group, because it’ll be more inclusive and be better for everybody (like Emily and Manon)!!!
I don't understand why they choose Celeste in the first place. She didn't receive many positive comments from the judges since the first mission, and I'm sure there where "more complete" options. As an Argentinian I'm so proud someone from my country was chosen, but it doesn't feels nice that she was chosen to bring attention to the show. At least she had the chance to learn and got a lot of experience. She's just 19 and has a lot of years to get better 😊

I think as long as the group has Lara, Sophia and Daniela they'll have a really good vocal and dance line. Anyone else would be the cherry on top. Really wish Nayoung was able to make it, as she would elevate the group vocally a ton, but with the recent commentary on Mission 3 I doubt it will happen sadly. Not sure on the last 3 spots myself, but would be fine with Manon, Ezrela, Megan, or Marquise as they all provide decent enough vocals or performance.
I’m sorry, Daniela has a nice tone and can hold a pitch but when it comes to really sing, like any pop song or even K-pop she can’t . It needs more vocalists, in this case I’m sorry but Samara is the best fit.
My top 6 are Daniela, Samara, Lara, Sophia, Ezrela & Emily or Manon. I was on the manon hype train at first but I feel she still lacks skills other girls have perfected already, I’m giving her props for being able to learn quickly but by the third mission when she was dancing you could tell she wasn’t as comfortable and in the moment as she should have been. I know Emily would be a liability where singing is considered but she is such a GREAT performer ⭐️ (Nayoung was fucking eliminated, so yes, I know I’m short 1 member but I don’t see who could fill her spot)
I want Emily so bad. Like Samara, Lara, and Sophia are no brainers. Daniela or Megan or both, same. But the best performer still feels like Emily. Her vocal improvement over the missions is enough for me to still want her.

The main thing is that people keep promising she will deliver, and idk if it's a case of pretty priviledge or something, cause so far like you said that has not been the case. Other trainees that have gone through the show were not awarded the same leniency. There is no way you can watch her fancam of buttons fgor example and say she is ready to debut. Compare her fancams with other trainees that are around the same popularity like Emily, Ezrela, Samara and Yoonchae: when those girls are on, they are on ! even when they are not the center they are still performing (not talking about vocals here because of those 4 only Yoonchae and Samara can deliver on those points). And thats what gets me. Manon was literally part of my og top 6, when other trainees, who btw didnt have as much as a spotlight as she had, started to shine and show their talents, she started to get left behind.

Lol this. I knew they were going to be biased. Can't believe people are not pointing it out. Emily and Manon are clearly not on the same level. People are just hyping Manon's visuals and low tone voice, but when it comes to overall performances, Emily is easily better. She's not the best vocalist, but she's obviously the best dancer with strong stage presence and chemistry with her teams. She was consistent in each missions. The fact that she's a professional dancer + trainees' dance leader + other fellow girls chose her for their ideal debut group, already says a lot. Emily's talents and work ethics are solid and beneficial to their group.

I think UA has the potential to become a big star. She was the first one to catch my eye with her dance. I agree she lacks in the singing department. But she has so much time to develop that skill with proper training. I hope to see her progress in the future!!
I also would like to emphasize that being skilled, having the looks are just bonus. You'll make it longer in the idol industry if you know how to make connection to your audience. Hence stage presence is really important.
It’s a bit ironic that the video specifies that rankings are solely based on talent but then immediately says “another reason she (UA) is ranked last is her age.” I assume they meant that age plays a role in her weak vocals but the wording was a little funny 💀💀
My tops are Sophia (All rounder, Leader), Lara (Main Vocalist), Yoonchae (All rounder), Marquise (Stage Presence, unique Vocalist), Megan (Stage Presence, Main Dancer), and Samara (Clean Vocalist/harmonizer). Just feel like these 6 would work well together in Vocals, Dance, and Visuals. I had Nayoung instead of Lara as main vocalist but sadly she got eliminated.

firstly i just wanna say congrats on your acc debut! your video is so organized and i really liked how you presented everything. as well you really did take the words out my mouth, i think the ranking was fair and while you were honest, i really liked that you pointed out both their flaws AND their strengths
I never watched any episode of dream academy but i saw every performance and i can agree at an 100% i'm pretty sure sophia and lara will debut but i want megan to debut so badddd 😭
EDIT 1: This is not my personal lineup, if anyone is confused. This is just who I think is going to debut. EDIT 3: I was right about 5/6, plus someone from my personal lineup made it! Needless to say, I'm very happy ❤ I think the final lineup is going to be (in no particular order): 1. Sophia 2. Lara 3. Manon 4. Samara 5. Yoonchae 6. Daniela Samara, despite the controversy, has a lot going for her. She has a beautiful voice; is a decent dancer; has great stage presence; a bubbly personality; she can play multiple instruments, etc. I think Hybe would likely make her apologize at some point, if fans bring it up more in the future. But I can't really see Hybe not debuting her. Manon has a beautiful lower-toned voice that can also hold down harmonies, is a producer, learns quickly and adapts fast, and is gorgeous (can see her as a brand Ambassador/muse). Lara is an incredible vocalist, a great cultural representative, has incredible stage presence, can keep up dance wise, and is a producer. Sophia is the ace of Dream Academy, and all the girls love her! She's been consistently popular throughout the show, and I doubt Hybe hasn't noticed. If none of the other girls debut, she definitely is. Daniela is the future center of the group. She's the best dancer on the show, currently, and is another vocalist with a lower toned voice that can hold down harmonies. And finally, Yoonchae. Now that Nayoung is gone, Hybe needs a Korean representative of the group and a Maknae. Yoonchae is a great vocalist, a decent dancer, and is bubbly and sweet. She just needs to work on her concept versatility, and is pretty young. But those are her only flaws, and won't be too much of an issue by debut. If you read all this, props! ❤ Edit 2: My personal lineup that I want to debut is Sophia, Lara, Daniela, Manon, Emily and Megan. I originally wanted Celeste and Nayoung to debut, but unfortunately they've been eliminated 😔

This is who I think will debut based on a number of factors, such as popularity, ranking patterns, Hybe/Geffen judging comments, highlights in their off-screen material, etc. Samara, although she is talented, is not in the lineup of who I personally think should debut; she's in the lineup of who I think will debut regardless of my personal preferences or political opinions. My personal preferred lineup would include Celeste and Nayoung over Samara and Yoonchae, but they got eliminated. tbh as much as samara is problematic, its important to know the context of her situation. I already mentioned this in the DA reddit discussion basically here it is: I just hope that HybexGeffen address the issue with samara because I think we have to understand the context of her upbringing. That being said, I do not condone her beliefs or views on certain groups of people. I just want to give her the benefit of the doubt due to her background. Correct me if I am wrong in any of these points, I would just like to have a clear discussion and understanding of samara’s situation. Given the context that she grew up in a poor family (from the DA intro vid), its possible that these religious groups (cults) absorbed them in exchange for community and monetary support. Minor religious groups (cults) in Brazil and in other third-world countries are notoriously known for keeping their followers misinformed and uneducated just to further push the cult’s agenda. The issue that samara is facing is a product of indoctrination from growing up with these cults. Yes she may have been training in DA for quite a while but that doesn’t give her the opportunity to change the “values” she grew up with unless actually called-out. Re-educating oneself from indoctrination is a continuous effort. It also takes time for a person to change their world views and belief system. Now that samara’s issues are publicly known, I hope HybexGeffen take the proper measures to re-educate her since it would be a total waste of talent and potential to let go of a trainee with that skill level.
Daniela has been singing and dancing since age 4 and has done it professionally too ,she has been mainly focused on dancing but has also taking vocal lessons and acting classes I can’t wait too see her shine like the star she is ,this whole competition she has been very underrated but fi can see her as the center of this group 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 best of Luck to al the finalists 🫰🏼

EMILY is undoubtedly the BEST DANCER in the show but the viewers keeps ignoring and undermining her. Honestly, her dance skills alone can make her to the top 6. She was so consistent in each missions. She has an overflowing charisma, energy and stage presence. Since the start, she's not on trainee level but a natural artist. I have to DISAGREE with your ranking especially with your double ranks: 9. Emily and Manon Emily is definitely more talented than Manon. Manon has no experience and her performances have no emotions. People are emphasizing her deep voice but overall she's below average and still not ready as a performer. Unlike Emily who's been dancing since she was a kid. She's actually a professional dancer who won many awards. Her voice is average but stable, and she even smoothly rapped in Wannabe. Even if her vocals is not the best, she's already the best dancer and her powerful dancing skills outshines. She's a SOLID performer. 1. Sophia and Lara Sophia is definitely an ace, but Lara is stronger than her in singing and dancing. She also has a better stage presence as a performer. My take on this outside being talented is how the girls work on having chemistry. I mean I know they're all talented but it's also important for people to see chemistry outside performing and for me the girls that have that together are Sophia Lara Yoonchae. Looking at these trio they literally entertain me on how they interact outside their performance. It's the same chemistry that drew me in when I started stanning Twice. These trio just go well together. 😂❤❤❤

My top 6: 1. Sophia - awesome vocals, great dancer, very eloquent, considered ace by the contestants themselves 2. Lara - for sure main vocalist material, great performer 3. Daniela - I'd agree she will kill it as the group's center, topnotch stage presence 4. Marquise - I feel like she's just so very adaptable with all the concepts that she's been into and she's so good at all of those 5. Megan - very good stage presence, strong vocals 6. Emily - a beast at dancing! was never really a fan of hers at the start but Antifragile forever changed it for me Runner-ups would probably Yoonchae (for the Korean market, she's also a great performer), and Manon.
Thank you for adding Emily on your lineup. People are just ignoring her since the start. She's the best dancer on the show who won many awards since she was a little kid and her professional background is an asset to the group. She's been their dance leader since they were trainees and she deserves to be the lead dancer of the debut group. Her vocals is not the best, but it's still good and she actually did well in Wannabe. At the end of the day, her forte is dancing and she's absolutely talented. She deserves more recognition.
My top 6 are: 1; Lara. Extremely good in all aspects. Literally imo all-rounder. 2; Sophia. Again, same as Lara. 3; Ezrela. She's underrated! I love her sm, she's so cute. Daniela, Sophia and Lara are a MUST for the group. You've got the main and lead singer and all-around center right there. For the last 3 we need more dancers, but who can still keep up vocally. So I'd go with Megan, Manon, and Ezrela.

I trained with Marquise for a few months in 2021 and she is just the sweetest little soul. Ethnicity, languages spoken, looks, personality and Nationality will play an important role in this particular case. i.e. Yoonchae will debut since it’s a k-pop style group under a Korean label and they need at least one Korean member to engage domestic audience.

Manon is such a good vocal color for international market.
We’ve always perceived that high range vocals are good vocals, but the rest of them are mostly nasal, which helps Manon standout.
To also consider that this is going to be a global girl group.
No fr for harmonies we literally need her.Look at the original destiny’s child with their member Latoya.Their harmonies back then were so full and rich because they had someone to do the alto for them.Honestly people don’t even consider that when choosing a group .This isn’t a K-pop group so we have to choose members that can utilize the best.Everyone has their own roles and when everyone has that high pitched voice it’s gonna be hard to form impressive and deep harmonies.Manon isn’t only a visual and I keep telling that people she is actually really needed in this group.(With high pitch I mean like sopranos with higher tessuras idk if I spelled that correctly).

They also represent many areas of the world, without one member taking over another spot! @@lovelias yeah, my thoughts too. The main thing is that people keep promising she will deliver, and idk if it's a case of pretty priviledge or something, cause so far like you said that has not been the case. Other trainees that have gone through the show were not awarded the same leniency.
There is no way you can watch her fancam of buttons fgor example and say she is ready to debut. Compare her fancams with other trainees that are around the same popularity like Emily, Ezrela, Samara and Yoonchae: when those girls are on, they are on ! even when they are not the center they are still performing (not talking about vocals here because of those 4 only Yoonchae and Samara can deliver on those points). And thats what gets me. Manon was literally part of my og top 6, when other trainees, who btw didnt have as much as a spotlight as she had, started to shine and show their talents, she started to get left behind.

Lol this. I knew they were going to be biased. Can't believe people are not pointing it out. Emily and Manon are clearly not on the same level. People are just hyping Manon's visuals and low tone voice, but when it comes to overall performances, Emily is easily better. She's not the best vocalist, but she's obviously the best dancer with strong stage presence and chemistry with her teams. She was consistent in each missions. The fact that she's a professional dancer + trainees' dance leader + other fellow girls chose her for their ideal debut group, already says a lot. Emily's talents and work ethics are solid and beneficial to their group.

I think UA has the potential to become a big star. She was the first one to catch my eye with her dance. I agree she lacks in the singing department. But she has so much time to develop that skill with proper training. I hope to see her progress in the future!!
I also would like to emphasize that being skilled, having the looks are just bonus. You'll make it longer in the idol industry if you know how to make connection to your audience. Hence stage presence is really important.

Samara, despite the controversy, has a lot going for her. She has a beautiful voice; is a decent dancer; has great stage presence; a bubbly personality; she can play multiple instruments, etc. I think Hybe would likely make her apologize at some point, if fans bring it up more in the future. But I can't really see Hybe not debuting her.
Manon has a beautiful lower-toned voice that can also hold down harmonies, is a producer, learns quickly and adapts fast, and is gorgeous (can see her as a brand Ambassador/muse).
Lara is an incredible vocalist, a great cultural representative, has incredible stage presence, can keep up dance wise, and is a producer.
Sophia is the ace of Dream Academy, and all the girls love her! She's been consistently popular throughout the show, and I doubt Hybe hasn't noticed. If none of the other girls debut, she definitely is.
Daniela is the future center of the group. She's the best dancer on the show, currently, and is another vocalist with a lower toned voice that can hold down harmonies.
And finally, Yoonchae. Now that Nayoung is gone, Hybe needs a Korean representative of the group and a Maknae. Yoonchae is a great vocalist, a decent dancer, and is bubbly and sweet. She just needs to work on her concept versatility, and is pretty young. But those are her only flaws, and won't be too much of an issue by debut.

This is who I think will debut based on a number of factors, such as popularity, ranking patterns, Hybe/Geffen judging comments, highlights in their off-screen material, etc. Samara, although she is talented, is not in the lineup of who I personally think should debut; she's in the lineup of who I think will debut regardless of my personal preferences or political opinions.
My personal preferred lineup would include Celeste and Nayoung over Samara and Yoonchae, but they got eliminated. So now I want Megan and Emily to debut, which makes my lineup: Manon, Sophia, Megan, Emily, Lara, and Daniela.

I just hope that HybexGeffen address the issue with samara because I think we have to understand the context of her upbringing. That being said, I do not condone her beliefs or views on certain groups of people. I just want to give her the benefit of the doubt due to her background. Correct me if I am wrong in any of these points, I would just like to have a clear discussion and understanding of samara’s situation.
Given the context that she grew up in a poor family (from the DA intro vid), its possible that these religious groups (cults) absorbed them in exchange for community and monetary support. Minor religious groups (cults) in Brazil and in other third-world countries are notoriously known for keeping their followers misinformed and uneducated just to further push the cult’s agenda. The issue that samara is facing is a product of indoctrination from growing up with these cults. Yes she may have been training in DA for quite a while but that doesn’t give her the opportunity to change the “values” she grew up with unless actually called-out. Re-educating oneself from indoctrination is a continuous effort. It also takes time for a person to change their world views and belief system.
Now that samara’s issues are publicly known, I hope HybexGeffen take the proper measures to re-educate her since it would be a total waste of talent and potential to let go of a trainee with that skill level.

Emily is definitely more talented than Manon. Manon has no experience and her performances have no emotions. She's actually a professional dancer who won many awards. Her voice is average but stable, and she even smoothly rapped in Wannabe. Even if her vocals is not the best, she's already the best dancer and her powerful dancing skills outshines. She's a SOLID performer.
