- I know it's long-don't feel obligated to watch the whole thing if you don't wish to do so. This is only part one of the near two hours of footage I got. Anyways, a CNG 2013 Mack LEU with an Amrep ASL body collecting trash. Same route and truck from when I filmed the greenwaste hopper video a couple years back. Huge thanks to the driver

This video is great Tony! I really enjoyed watching the repetitive dump and pack cycles of this amrep. This video is also a great example for the waste industry fans that feel the only way to recycle is with a single or dual stream system. As everyone can see, the average household still has a lot of recycle in the trash. About 30% of the trash is recyclable material, on average. This is why I'm a proponent of mixed waste processing. Whether it's with or without a source separated recycling stream. Either way, as long as there is a separate organics stream, mixed waste processing can recover well over 90% of the recyclables from the mixed waste stream. With the separate organics stream to reduce recyclables contamination, the organics being sent to composting or digesting facilities only adds to an even higher overall waste diversion percentage. Thanks for the awesome video, and I look forward to part 2 when it gets posted.

Good vid, but camera has to be pointed in the other direction. Can't see the trash being compacted. If you can, put on the other side, heard some of these cameras come with strong magnets.
