*** PLEASE NOTE *** Oops 🤦🏻♀️ - I got mixed up with my prices in the video and actually paid £29 for the night at this site so it wasn't exactly cheap. However, for me the wide open away-from-it-all feel, huge pitch, being immersed in the peaceful countryside surrounded by nothing but nature while still being just 5 mins from the village, all facilities except for EHU, and knowing I was supporting an environmentally friendly campsite made it worth it for a night. I appreciate that we may all have differing expectations at that price though so wanted to correct the mis-information 👍🏻

Another great watch Sue, I haven't been to Bibury since I was a kid, and it's only just over an hours run. I remember the Trout Farm, I was going to ask you if it was still there, then you mentioned it right at the end. Lovely video Sue I enjoy the journey with you to the campsites it feels like I am in the van with you, that was a very peaceful site and Bibury was a delightful village. We once pitched on a corner pitch went for a walk and when we got back we were surrounded 😂😂 it was a bank holiday weekend we keep away from corner pitches now . Looking forward to your next post 👋👋👋

What a beautiful place Sue, you looked very at home there. I know what you mean though, it’s bitter sweet being there on your own isn’t it. Still so much better sitting and remembering the good times there than at home. ❤️
I know exactly what you mean, you can find yourself somewhere perfect but there's just that slight edge, that sadness that the one you know who would love it are not there (not in any sense I can believe in anyway). I don't know about you, but I have never felt any kind of 'anger' that they're not with me - just a deep, deep abiding sadness. I don't think that's ever going to change for me but I am getting better at not feeling guilt for the moments of simple pleasure that are emerging now I'm on the road again. Much love xx 🙂❤️

No, I’ve never felt any anger in the sense of my solo travels (my grieving journey in general is a WHOLE separate story emotion-wise). Looking back at earlier solo trips serves as a useful reminder of progress made since the ‘lost days’ as I call them. The sadness rides alongside me but it sits more quietly all the time. Wow what a lovely site...and perfect pitch!! and worth it even at the higher price I'd say. You definitely saw the village at its best ......the videos and photos are stunning x
I’d wanted to visit Bibury for a long time and everything about it was as beautiful as I’d imagined, even the weather. Couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect 👌🏻 x

Beautiful Bibury 💕. I have a friend whose Auntie lived in a cottage on Arlington Row, how lucky was she! Really felt for you thinking about your Bri, wanted to give you a hug so have this instead…🥰
Wow yes she was lucky, although the constant stream of visitors could be an issue 🤣 I waited hours before I could manage those few moments alone on Arlington Row. Thanks for the virtual hug! 🤗
I am happy to see another vlog from you Sue...it has become a very nice vlog again I love it as always.....You might not have been able to share it with Bri, but from his beautiful cloud he certainly enjoys everything you do and show to us. @@CamperVanya Hello Sue yes I'm doing well now and then there are ups and downs but everyone has that, it's nice that you felt Bri's presence with all the beautiful things you see, that gives a good feeling, plus that you don't feel alone. Lovely video Sue. I love that area in England. Never been to Bibury but looking forward to your visit to Bourton-On-The-Water, where I have been and although packed with tourists, it was beautiful. You picked a really good campsite too. Take care and ‘Onwards!’ ❤
Yes I think Bourton on the Water is always packed. It certainly was when I was there but that really seemed to suit the place. I found another great campsite there too. ONWARD!>>> 😁👍🏻 x

Hi Sue, another lovely vlog . Village and quiet site looked great . Had a bit of a tear in my eye when you mentioned your Bri , sure he’s keeping an eye on you and will love that you are getting out and about to some beautiful places . All the best and look forward to your next film x
Oh Sue! What a lovely vlog ❤ I felt Bri’s presence on that pitch before you mentioned him. You were so relaxed and chilled. Just perfect! What a quirky shower in an ‘oss box 😂 We loved Bibury, but you pronounced it right! We pronounced it as in a baby’s bib 🤦🏻♀️ What a perfect evening to a perfect day. Fire, wine and nibbles. One day we’ll manage this together xx
Thanks for your lovely comment. It was definitely one of those perfect places, sites, and weather moments. One to treasure for sure. I laughed at your ‘oss box comment because it reminded me of the first time I heard how Bri naturally pronounced ‘horse’. He said “look at that arse over there” when we were out on our bikes and I thought he was being insulting about a farmer 😂🤣 xx
Lovely village and what a cracking little campsite. We went lithium earlier this year its pricey but so worth it no more hook up needed. We went to Oaktree for ours fantastic people there.
We replaced our 2 leisure batteries with one large 230ah underseat ecotree lithium. They do all sorts of sizes but if you speak to Rob at Oaktree and explain how you travel and what you are looking for he will guide you in the right direction. A very good family run company.
Hi Sue, what's not to like about Bibury, it is lovely and you showed it perfectly. We will be going back sometime soon. Can i ask you what the track was that you had playing when riding into Bibury please. All the best......Paul
We stayed with friends, who live in the Cotswolds, at the weekend. Such a beautiful place with so much to see. Looking forward to the next episode. Safe journeys Sue
I know exactly where you’re coming from about missing Bri in the nicest places. I think that’s the reason I’m holding back from experiencing new things on my own. My soulmate is not there to share it. ❤
I know you will sadly get what I was saying. I do believe we’ve to get out there and do it for us AND them now though. I hope you’re enjoying your van Jenny ❤️

Love your videos you make me smile. Keep them coming take care Sue. Jane x btw sometimes I watch you on my tablet and on my phone so not to confuse you it's me Jane x
Bibury looked great and never been there Never heard of the greener camp outfit - one to check out . The campsite pitch looked perfect Lithium with a fast dc dc charger will probably see you for a few nights with power management and your portable pack - you can always add solar if you need later Well done for sharing your thoughts Love your indecision it’s like me and the Hokey Cokey
Bibury is off the scale beautiful. Just check out my pinned comment, I got the price wrong in the video 🤦🏻♀️. Thanks for the battery advice it helps. Re the Hokey Cokey I’m sure you’re not alone 🤣
Great vlog Sue, thanks for sharing. What a lovely little village Bibury is. I too feel that the more lovely places I find, that my thoughts go deep into how much I miss my wife. I almost feel guilty about not physically sharing it with her, but I Know she's always there urging me to get on with it. All the best Take care.
Hi Barry thanks for watching and commenting. I hope all is going ok with you and that you’re enjoying plenty of van trips too. It does get easier doesn’t it, just very very different. Take good care.
Cheers Steve. This shows the fire pit/bbq I use in full detail. I put in the comments section of the video a link to where I got it from. You could probably get it via Amazon too I don’t know th-cam.com/video/Lm89jPPeKIc/w-d-xo.html
Brilliant Video Sue, never been in the Cotswolds, probably drove past it at some point, lovely wee village and a very nice campsite.. thanks for taking us with you, looking forward to seeing the next installment, probably catch up after we come back from our holidays xx
What a beautiful village we’re going to Gloucester next week staying at the Tudor caravan park the only thing I know about Gloucester it has a very expensive service station which we stop at every year on our way to Devon from Nottinghamshire I’m looking forward to visiting the Cotswolds 😊
You look like you're in your element at that campsite! Sending you hugs!❤ That's what we do... get up early to avoid the crowds! Ahh Bourton on the Water! Unusual to have all that in the horse box! It must be a very clean horse!!!!! 😉 Bibury looks lovely! Ahh The Rollright Stones! Thanks for sharing! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Sue. Go solar. We do 2 or 3 days at a shot and it's perfect for all our needs. Even in some horrendous weather. Fridge has run for 10 days without Ehu or problems. Charge some pocket power packs during the day. Charge your devices at night off them.
I know solar is good but the thing is I need a new leisure battery anyway so I think for me at this time just switching to a lithium battery is the way to go and they perform well from what I’ve read. Could always add solar at a later date if ever needed 😊
you make me laugh the way you go to the most distant "anti-social" place in the field. Because I would do exactly the same! Really enjoyed this episode - the simple things in life are the best.. Kim x
Haha, you know it makes sense. If I'm camping with others I'm not bothered but when travelling solo I just crave absolute peace and nothing but the sounds of nature wherever possible. Nothing too 'peopley' 😁 x
Hiya, yes the EcoFlow is great. I use it for charging camera gear/phone/drone etc. I still need a good healthy leisure battery though for the hab in general 👍🏻
Hi Sue - what a fab site - now on my list. Can I ask you a question about wheels (noting you have changed urs) I have 16” wheels on my new California Surf and am thinking about changing to 18” - is there anything I need to think about - what did you learn when you changed yours - does it drive different? Thanks
Hi Graham. I’d say do some reading up. I did a lot but found some info contradictory and so many varied opinions. I knew I wanted 17” & off road look tyres but decided against BFG after reading about their performance in wet weather on roads (let’s face it we get so much rain!). So I compromised with a set of Grabbers. I grew to dislike the original 16” steelies they did nothing for the van and I absolutely love the upgraded wheels and tyres. I find them to be a smoother ride and very responsive and definitely the best decision for me. It’s all personal preference though and unfortunately I can’t comment on 18” I’ve never had them. Matt at VWT5 Upgrades sorted mine. He might be able give advice I don’t know. Otherwise I’d say ask the question on the ‘Dubbed Out Community’ Facebook group or a similar VW group/forum. You’ll get plenty of answers on there. Good luck! 👍🏻
@@CamperVanya thanks Sue - I know I will be researching for a bit yet - really appreciate the helpful reply. Keep up the vlogs I just love them - you must be a natural at editing 👍🍺
Hiya yes I need to work that out and I think the chap who did my conversion will be sorting it out. Thanks though and thanks to you and Jan for watching 😊👍🏻

@@CamperVanya Thank you very much, i have it and its a lovely track. I owe you one.
@@OurDaysOut You’re welcome. It’s a beautiful track isn’t it 😊👍🏻
We stayed with friends, who live in the Cotswolds, at the weekend. Such a beautiful place with so much to see. Looking forward to the next episode. Safe journeys Sue
Isn’t it just something else around that area. I only skimmed the surface and am already looking forward to revisiting. Thanks for watching.
What a lovely looking place and gorgeous campsite. Lovely vlog as always Sue 💜xx
It was a pretty special day there I must say. Thanks for watching Suz xx
Hello Sue, I love your vlogs. Just so relaxing and I always feel as if I've been visiting the places with you. What a stunning village. Beautiful x
Hi 👋 Doing these vlogs always gives me the feeling I have a travelling companion with me, it’s nice. Bibury is incredibly beautiful 😍 x
Hi sue awe bless you that was a fab video and what a lovely site and pitch. Your van is looking great and you are doing so well. I'm hoping to be in a campervan next year to live in see how it goes. Love your videos you make me smile. Keep them coming take care Sue. Jane x btw sometimes I watch you on my tablet and on my phone so not to confuse you it's me Jane x
Hi Jane all sounds very good with you. Thanks for your lovely comment. I hope all goes well with your van living plans. Follow your dreams! ❤️ x
Great video. I can’t wait to see Bourton on the Water. We spent our honeymoon there 😁.
Thanks Sylvia, what a lovely place to spend your honeymoon. I enjoyed my time there 😊
Totally get your thoughts about the beautiful place. Well said. 5yrs without.
Sorry to hear that. Yeah finally realising and understanding reactions a lot better now. Take care.
Bibury looked great and never been there
Never heard of the greener camp outfit - one to check out . The campsite pitch looked perfect
Lithium with a fast dc dc charger will probably see you for a few nights with power management and your portable pack - you can always add solar if you need later
Well done for sharing your thoughts
Love your indecision it’s like me and the Hokey Cokey
Bibury is off the scale beautiful. Just check out my pinned comment, I got the price wrong in the video 🤦🏻♀️.
Thanks for the battery advice it helps.
Re the Hokey Cokey I’m sure you’re not alone 🤣
beautifuldrive sue nice to see youback donnyxx
Thanks Donny hope all good with you x
Oh Suzie this was fabulous. xx
Thank you haha 😉 xx
Great vlog Sue, thanks for sharing. What a lovely little village Bibury is. I too feel that the more lovely places I find, that my thoughts go deep into how much I miss my wife. I almost feel guilty about not physically sharing it with her, but I Know she's always there urging me to get on with it. All the best Take care.
Hi Barry thanks for watching and commenting. I hope all is going ok with you and that you’re enjoying plenty of van trips too. It does get easier doesn’t it, just very very different. Take good care.
Great video Sue, never been to Bibury but look stunning. Nxt time for sure oh and was the fire pit off Amazon 🤔😉
Thanks Lindsay. It was my first time in the Cotswolds too. Won’t be my last! Have a great holiday. Love to you both ❤️ xx
@@CamperVanya Thank you Sue, we will try, love to you too 😘😘❤❤❤ xxx
Lovely vlog sue, looks like a totally fantastic place 😊
It really is worth a visit sometime 😍
Nice to see you out and about Sue. Tc. ❤x
Thank you! You take care too 😊 x
What a beautiful village we’re going to Gloucester next week staying at the Tudor caravan park the only thing I know about Gloucester it has a very expensive service station which we stop at every year on our way to Devon from Nottinghamshire I’m looking forward to visiting the Cotswolds 😊
Such a pretty area. Have a wonderful time! 😊
Just lovely ❤
Thanks Nik x
You look like you're in your element at that campsite!
Sending you hugs!❤
That's what we do... get up early to avoid the crowds!
Ahh Bourton on the Water!
Unusual to have all that in the horse box! It must be a very clean horse!!!!! 😉
Bibury looks lovely!
Ahh The Rollright Stones!
Thanks for sharing!
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Ju! Thank you. All that annoyed me was that the horse beat me to the shower in the morning and used all the hot water xx
@@CamperVanya Should've told him to "trot on!" Xxx
@@blakes4ontour 😂
I didn’t want to stirrup any trouble xx
@@CamperVanya I bet the showers needed a lot of HOOFERING out after he was in there!!🤣🤣🤣
@@blakes4ontour 🤣 We sound un-stable ..
Thank you so much. I admit Im Slightly jealous.
I must say I have to pinch myself every time I get behind the wheel. This van has been the best thing in recent years.
Sue.
Sound.
you make me laugh the way you go to the most distant "anti-social" place in the field.
@CamperVanya fully with you there lovely x
Hi sue, thanks for the lovely vlog, Just bathe in the moment 💕 on the new battery go for lithium lifepo4 hope this helps .
Thanks for watching. Yes it’ll definitely be a lithium LiFePO4 👍🏻
Lol.. I am well known for sailing past an entrance… even if I’ve been there before! 😅
One of the downsides of solo travel 🙄😆
Enjoy our villages sue there’s plenty to visit ,
Thanks! I enjoyed this whole trip and have only skimmed the surface of the beautiful Cotswolds. Can’t wait to return 😊
@@CamperVanya we are lucky we live hear and never get bored of the lovely views or places Sue glad you had a good time
Very very nice video friend 👍👍👍👍💜
Thank you very much! 😊👍🏻
Hi Sue, really lovely campsite.
What happened to your Eco Flow power bank.
Is that not working for you?
Hiya, yes the EcoFlow is great. I use it for charging camera gear/phone/drone etc. I still need a good healthy leisure battery though for the hab in general
👍🏻
How bright is the light in the dark?
If you click on the link to the light that I’ve put in the video description it tells you the brightness details for each mode 👍🏻
Sue what leveling ramps do you use? I've got a T6.1
no worries found your essential equiptment vlog
We had them in our previous motorhome so they’re quite big but I’ve found them perfect for my little van too 👍🏻
👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😁👍🏻
BACKWARDS! 😂
😆😆👍🏻
Van does look sexy
🥰
hi sue work out your hourly load on you system its not difficult drop me an email think you you are near to me and my jan is a big fan
Hiya yes I need to work that out and I think the chap who did my conversion will be sorting it out. Thanks though and thanks to you and Jan for watching 😊👍🏻
just i see some really poor advice from the so called experts on here, good advice should be free
Hi Sue. It is lovely in Bibury isnt it. It was so busy when i was there, but i was only there for a few hours in the day. Beautiful weather you had too
Hi Gaz thanks for watching. It really is the most relaxing place (once the crowds have gone). How’s the van doing? Hope ur soon sorted.
@@CamperVanya yes it really is. I will go again when I'm next down that way.
I picked the van up on Friday. Feels good to be back in it again.
