Y'know, maybe it's the game corner music, but Pokemon sorta conditioned a whole generation into gacha games. Encountering the Pokemon you want in tall grass? Luck based chance Catching the Pokemon you've found? Luck based chance Critical hits? Luck based chance Status conditions being inflicted? Luck based chance Status conditions actually affecting the target(Sleep, confusion, Para, Freeze)? Luck based chance But game corner has to go, because THAT encourages gambling. But that's okay because they gave us a roughly 1/8000 shiny chance and random IV's on each Pokemon, and that's not gambling.
Always great to have another bismix pop up! I just randomly rewatch the old ones when I feel in the mood, they brighten my day easily. But yeah, don’t play many gachas but playing Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem Heroes before it got banned in my country got me very familiar with all of this, pretty accurate… especially the swimsuit power creep part.
You forgot the fact that Bungobucks can be exchanged at a rate of 100 per summon. Thanks to the 9 you got over the course of this video you’re almost a whole tenth of the way there!
Still haven't brought myself to play a gacha game. Thank god I'm a stubborn old fogey. Love you Bismix, keep up the good work and may your move go well with no lost Bis Inventory!
Literally what Fire Emblem Heroes was like. "Can we get a new character we've never had before?" "NO HERE'S THE 12TH HECTOR ALT THAT MAKES ALL OTHER HECTORS AWFUL"
"No one wants power creep." As a gacha enthusiast, I do. There is objectively nothing worse than, "Why pull for this guy over the last 90 characters you've put out?" And the answer is, "Do you... like this one more?" Considering I have to ... invest more time and resources in the game into leveling them up, plus the odds of actually getting that character, farming their gear, god forbid it's one of those games where the gear is ALSO a gacha, I'd rather stick with my units that ALREADY WORK thank you. People don't like to hear it, but power creep is necessary for the longevity of a game. It's 99% of why I have stopped playing Genshin Impact. I pulled the one character I liked, geared her out, built a team around her, and now I have nothing to do because every new character is just another 40 hour farm to bring them up to par with the characters I already have, while they add NOTHING to my team, so there's no fricking point in getting them. I log on, do the story, and quit for six months while Mihoyo adds banners that don't matter, characters that only matter if you're going to main them instead of the other 40 you probably already have, and like a 2 hour cutscene that's the main reason I'm still playing. One day I'll find out about the foreign god and what happened to Kahnria and Aether/Lumine's powers. Just as soon as we solve the crisis of the Archon's overtoasted sandwich!
Not to mention not getting any of the materials to level them up if you do manage to pull them with the free summon, so it's still grinding all the way down! 🙃
I’m glad Bismix is wearing a crown here, because this video definitely marks the return of the king. Very accurate Gacha vid, glad to see Bis leveraging his Heroes info into more silly parodies lol.

This so accurately describes My Hero Ultra Rumble, almost to the point where I'm wondering if Bis played it, or there's just too many gacha games that do this LOL
Fgo offsets this by having the 1-3 stars be useful. It counters that by having the grind be compareable to washing your hands in rough soap, then drying them in sandpaper.

FEH on their way to release the 30th sword infantry this week which has 5 essays per skill and outperforms sword infantry 29 in every way
Big thanks for another amazing skit!
Edit: Description is gold too btw
The guy at the end if the essence of gacha, gotta spread some salt in eachothers wounds, makes the experience so much better
The part when you got Ricky’s Left Sock again, I felt that.
Makes me more and more glad I stopped whaling in FEH.
BABE WAKE UP NEW BISMIX
Seeing that you've uploaded a new video always makes my day, thanks for the great content!
Y'know, maybe it's the game corner music, but Pokemon sorta conditioned a whole generation into gacha games.
Encountering the Pokemon you want in tall grass? Luck based chance
Catching the Pokemon you've found? Luck based chance
Critical hits? Luck based chance
Status conditions being inflicted? Luck based chance
Status conditions actually affecting the target(Sleep, confusion, Para, Freeze)? Luck based chance
But game corner has to go, because THAT encourages gambling.
But that's okay because they gave us a roughly 1/8000 shiny chance and random IV's on each Pokemon, and that's not gambling.
I didn't think about it like that... The high of finally obtaining that first shiny
"I always get the character I want, I think the rates are pretty fair!" 🔫🔫🔫
The Mix has returned!
How many peeps wanna see this glorious man play the Disgaea games?
This video oozes FEH despair. Kinda cathartic tbh
Dang. This makes me appreciate games like Dragalia Lost. Rip. It shall be missed
As an Azur Lane, Touhou LostWord, Reverse 1999 and occasional FEH player,I feel this video on an existential level
Funnily enough, before I stopped playing feh, I had used a Google card to buy the black knight, lol
Guh, this brought back the trauma of pulling Wyrmprints in Dragalia Lost. Man
A year to get a guaranteed character isn't even exaggerating. And not only it will be obsolete by then, the whole game could go EOS shortly after
Not to mention not getting any of the materials to level them up if you do manage to pull them with the free summon, so it's still grinding all the way down! 🙃
I’m glad Bismix is wearing a crown here, because this video definitely marks the return of the king. Very accurate Gacha vid, glad to see Bis leveraging his Heroes info into more silly parodies lol.
I'll reference this video every time someone asks my opinion on gacha """"games""""
Don’t forget there will be like 20-30 items and currencies that you do need in some way but you will be so confused you won’t even know what to do with them
This so accurately describes My Hero Ultra Rumble, almost to the point where I'm wondering if Bis played it, or there's just too many gacha games that do this LOL
I just need Kirishima 😔
@@bismix4 You and me both man... 😮💨
how dare you hurt me with something so hurtful yet so true
i have a crippling gacha addiction please send help
Fgo offsets this by having the 1-3 stars be useful. It counters that by having the grind be compareable to washing your hands in rough soap, then drying them in sandpaper.
And then they unlock essential grinding features behind a subscription fee.
That's just FEH lmao, only FEH ever does that in any gacha games i've seen.
Cheers to the Pokemon game corner OSTs!🎉
super ricky is like the legendary alts of feh characters
feh is probably the best for the way it's gacha works (characters only)
Gacha pulls, the big friendship killer next to the likes of Mario Party, Mario Kart, and Smash.
Perfect Halloween video! Gacha systems truly are terrifying
So you started Reverse 1999
God, thank you for not making me vulnerable to Gacha.
As someone who is currently playing three gacha games (Genshin,Star rail, Reverse:1999), this is what it feels like. The part that doesn't make sense to me is the 50/50 system. You save up for a limited time banner so you can specifically pull for that character, but then you have a chance that you don't get them even if you get a five star because ???.
The games doesn't mention that Ricky doesn't need to wait Summer since his halloween version already outclass him
Super Ricky reminds me of Fallen Linus... Minus the swimsuit, of course, but it's still just as tragic-
Have you been spying on my Fate Grand Order sessions?
The summon rate slays me to this day
