Please keep going- I haven't caught one yet and I just love being there and having a go- I will do it one day but I love it all, planning dreaming watching your vids buying stuff etc. Meeting folk too. Nah don't give up at least until I've bumped into you to shake your hand. I didnt fish for 20 years before watching you and iain bain sb here I am with my tent taking my 14ft and my 11ft to any river I can get on and have time to- that's where your vids keep me going. Love it

My local is the ayr and if you want a shot on it I'd guide you but it isn't fantastic at all. You are inspirational and it doesn't matter if you don't catch many. I watch your every video ASAP just the same as iain bains and he catches a lot, I find yours just as exciting fulfilling entertaining inspiring. Don't stop please

Another lovely day on the river. Well, maybe not the rainy parts. But, Failte gu Alba, as the warning sign says when you cross the border. Late season days like this are what we dream of, and catching a fish is incidental at best. Just to be there in the moment and feel the river against your waders as it weaves it long and unhurried way to the sea is something you simply can't describe unless you're in the moment. I will say, though, that for a novice you do seem perfectly able and capable of finding the best lies on the best rivers on the best days. Keep at it, and you will be rewarded.
True story. I was just typing a word or two of encouragement, with particular emphasis on how your casting has improved over the past few months, but you mentioned it yourself, making my comment redundant. It has though.

Good to see your out again. Hopefully you will get into the fish ! Took me nearly 3 years of fishing at the deveron to get a fish and ended up with 2 one after the other ! Got to be out there to get them though. Best of luck

Hi Shaun, no problem. I am a big fan of Rio, and am using the Rio Intouch Switch line and on the spey rod that I was using in this video it is Rio Shooting Head with a Rio running line. Hope that helps - Chris
