I fished the Findhorn about 5 years ago and fell in love with the Highlands. So much so, I bought a house and moving there next month. Loving the videos.👍
Hi Scott thank you the findhorn is my favourite river to fish. You will love it up here if you need any help or advise about the fishing get in touch with me. Dave
Thanks Dave. Much appreciated, be good to catch up with you at some point. All the best mate, Scott.
Damn mobiles!!!
Outstanding again 👍🐟
beautiful job on releasing that fish @Nairnfly, she was a beauty
Thank you could have done better on the netting though.😕
Wow amazing waters … so enjoyable to watch , also definitely got me pumped again 🎣 hear the reel scream… ❤
Cheers Gary really glad you enjoyed it, tight lines for 2024 !!
Fantastic video and fish, congratulations. Some really hard fighting fish there on the Nairn!!! Thanks
Cheers Colin its a great wee river !
As per usual, brilliant stuff pal! Bloody landing nets, I hate them!
Never made such an ass of netting a fish before though 🤣🤣
@@nairnfly I have.... many times haha
Lovely video 👍
Thank you glad you enjoyed it !
Great video David. Some cracking fish you had there. Shame about the one on the Findhorn looked to be putting a good bend in the rod. Hopefully get a cast with you again some point this season.
Thanks Toby maybe catchup at Forres when grilse are in.
@nairnfly sounds good I can help net your fish even if I don't get one myself 🤣.
Nice mate 😁😁👍
Thanks guys !
Nice fish! 🎣 Is that a NextCast zone line your using?
Hi John you can see all the tackle i use in the video in the video description.
I was on Findhorn in 2018. Booked water on Nairn, but I could not even find the water or the river or any way to the pool... best kept secret I guess LOL ❤
Give me a shout if you ever going again and i will be able to help.
@@nairnfly very kind of you sir! I hope to take you up on that one day! 🔥
Well done ! It did not want to go in that net did it 😅
Yes Matt usually i dont have as many attempts though 😆
Linda is more understanding than my missus...
😂😂😂😂Linda's a trooper!!! I wouldn't have even picked up the call!! LOL 🔥
She likes fishing which makes a difference. Also realises the importance of not loosing a fish 😉
Strong fish, perhaps Linda could help you land the next ones!!😂
Aye Paul think you are right, dont think i ever had so many go's at netting a fish 🤣
Gate pool on the Nairn
Yes fantastic pool with water
Milton pool river Nairn
Yep thats the one.
Top end of Milton filled in after the big spate but still very fishable further down
@@nairnfly Milton pool for example never saw it advertised for the public, are these fishing club access exclusively? many thanks, curious about the lay of the land Nairn looks wonderful I couldn't even find a pool last time I was there (2018) cheers
Cant understand why you didn't beach them plenty of shingle instead of faffin about with net could have lost them ,neverless well done that man
Usually i am a bit better with the net but yes easy enough to beach agreed.
Hope you phoned wife back to tell how terrible you are at netting fish 😂
🤣🤣 aye got to hold my hand up the netting was truly a disaster 😆😆
