I find that dribbling only works good agains semi inexperienced players that hesitate to tackle the ball, so not a big problem. If you are somewhat big and fast and carry a lot of "power" when running you can just power trough the oposition, not gracefull, but works, use your body to limit the oposition tackle, make it awkward for them, just be carefull to not slam right into them and foul, because unfortunately many people do a bit of a scene and throw themselves on the floor. But in general dont give them too much, run hard, dont be scared to bump into them a bit.
Same bro I am trying to perfect the stepover but my confidence is a bit lacking. Still I train everyday and am trying to raise my confidence and master the skill

I am 6’1 180 lbs and my agility is really good for my size my speed is not great, my technique is good and i use to try multiple skills and dribbles (ST) which 50/50 work and i tried to dribble unnecessarily now i only use the fake shot and la croqueta or ball rolls which are the skills I know best, I have focused more on shooting and first time finishing and it has changed my game to a different level, i score twice as much dribbling twice as less
There's a commercial . I believe it's a nike t90 laser 2, or 3 video featuring Fernandi Torres. He does a shoulder faint move. I have been doing it 9/10 times to every opponent I come across. And it works. Just like in the commercial video.
My daughter is 11 and did exactly this. She is a Center Fullback, but it is hard to take the ball from her because of this one move - which is really a body faint with a tight cross over. She's not fast, but she is strong. She beats the press with her one move and then finds someone to pass to.
Thanks I was one of the person who stopped doing . Step over and faint . And started trying to do skills that I was watching on vdo . That's why I was playing worst after not using skills that I already mattered
Actually before we didnt play with senoirs but now i play with seniors in the past my dribbling is so good but now i belive to pass other players and make an opportunity to score a goal but theres some a problem with them they didnt pass me like sometimes and sneeking for their own goals after this i decided to play as myself and score a goal for my team like one for all ❤

Because you think about it. Practice all the techniques you want, but during game be simple and efficient, your play style will come out spontaneously when needed. I only dribble if i need to and i've done some crazy stuff out of nowhere, otherwise pass and go, it's the most effective strategy, similar to tika taka by barcelona.
I have an arsenal of 50 skill moves I've mastered. Cause if u only have 1 mastered skill the opponent will adapt and I don't want that. They adapt to 1 skill is use another skill

Feints is an act of dribbling if you think you aren’t really dribbling you might just need to find a style that fits you
