I couldn't juggle as a kid and it killed me and I always knew it. Now 30 years later with young kids, it's become increasingly obvious how important it is. Hoping they follow in your footsteps and not mine. Thanks for the video!
@@chrisc3825 nope. When a ball is flying toward you at thigh height, soaking wet, after spinning off the muddy surface, on a cold night in January in England, the skill you need to get that ball under control is nothing to do with juggling. In that situation, being able to juggle 100 times is meaningless.
@@sandhuhardeep1857 Old. 😁 You don't need to be able to juggle. Concentrate on first touch like I said. It was an American coach I saw saying you need to be able to do 100 keep ups to be a footballer, which is just nonsense.
I just turned 14, 2 weeks ago, im a CM and since I was a child people always praised me for my juggling , at recess I prefered to juggle alone in 5th grade at the place of playing with my friends, right now my "max" is 330 in one go but I know I can do far more, recently Ive been able to do some fancy skills while juggling (not constantly) and I learned to do rainbows, I just realized how important it is to juggle cuz I intinctively know where to touch the ball when I get a pass , after seeing this video I know I now need to master my passes and dribbles. I'm "gifted" to know the importance of juggling and have practiced it alot
I'm 14, started playing at 13 and I still can't juggle, but I am getting there. I have improved a bit. My highest when I started was like 2, and now I can go up to 7 or 8. If I stay composed. Like what I realized, is that sometimes when I'm learning something, I tend to have better control of it, when I'm not focusing on it, like if I just do it without really focusing, I do it better. And honestly, I've been so focused on improving juggling with my feet, I'm losing the ability to juggle with my knees lol.
juggling, hitting the crossbar, scoring off the post, attempting different types of passes - 1 bounce, 2 bounces, no bounce, high arc - low arc etc these are things everyone who enjoys the game should be doing, for fun, because they train your sense and sense is what you need in game - adapt to the ever changing situation and have the ability to execute the best option. no amount of situation specific dribbling skills you train off the pitch will ever make you a more valuable player to a team
Honestly I don't even know what to say except great advice, cuz all the football skills videos all over the internet are just sooo overdone and their fancy skills aint even really useful tbh, they're just trying to gain views. Appreciate u Unisport once again 🔥
All my friends are really good football players while I am not because I am a swimmer.I only learned how to play football by myself while playing out in my house's garden. Now Im 17 years old and watch this video out of my own boredom but I found myself improving at playing football. This channel helped me,a "lazy person",to compete with my friends that play is good football teams in my area.
Even pros train the basics more than fancy skills. Train more the fundamentals like passing or effective skills and master it, then do it consistently in real games. I think no pro team will want you in their team if you are not able to control and pass consistenly or shoot.

I already mastered the basic but instead of just doing shooting or stuff i train like a pro i train like Mantelline arsenal rw/lw position at train effective its been two days that i been using him but it made me already so good the progress goes fast but its hard and that training takes like 1 hours
I've never been great at juggle but I was very good at stop and pass the ball, I don't know, for sure it help to be good at juggle but is not everything and there are other ways to improve your touch as the wall.
I can juggle between 100-125 with my left foot only and I can juggle about 100 with both feet but with my right foot I can't make it past 30 but I can trap the ball with my right foot
My dad has done thousands because when he was younger he was going for a world record 😂 He even got my mum to wipe sweat off his face to stop it going in his eyes lol
So I'm a left back. We were 7 v 7 on a small pitch. I took the ball ran to the left side of the box. Surrounded by three defender almost on the sideline. The other teams defenders were on my right on my back and right in front. So I took my chance and shot it. And it accidentally became a trivia and missed the goal
It wasn't a shot. It was more of a chip to the upper right corner. Also between the other defenders were that my team was nowhere near me and the pass route was blocked and I looked at the goal and I saw a hole in the right side because all of them were on me even the goalkeeper and 3 defender
I swear everytime I open the comments I keep seeing these bots say (each of your videos is a small masterpiece that surprises with its originality and creativity . Keep up the good work )every single time💀this is sad iwl

First touch is more important than juggling.
@@jekylthorn8969 I don’t disagree, but a lot of first touch is basically juggling.
