I just found this trying to get some rain here in California to help with putting out the wildfires. It's been raining here for an hour for the first time in months. The name of this channel caught my eye. I was born in 1961 and I'm 61 years old now. ♥️🙏😉
So beautiful and calming, also the way they dress looks wonderful to describe it simple, and I do not know why but even thought I was born in a white family, something inside me keeps telling me I was in a previous life native American and now I feel like I don't belong where I am now.
I love all things Native Indigenous and sent this video to my loved ones so they would play it and the forest fires in their areas would be put out asap. Lo and behold it is raining suddenly in London Ontario at this moment. Pray for more rain everyone and play this video. Thank you Native Indigenous People.
I play this and a couple of other rain dance videos and it’s always worked😅😊❤. I take my phone outside and play these dances and it’s never failed to provide a good rainstorm 😮
Any Sundance it's always raining in Ireland 😅☔ as much as I dislike the rain I love the calm sound of it and the beating of the rain against the windows..
God Smiles on those who keep their Traditions pure. I remember when I saw this for the very first time I was four years old watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and they were showing footage that was over 70 years old of a traditional Indian rain dance. there were more men, but from the looks of it they really needed rain and it did. Ever since I saw that video on television as a child I have always believed and I have always remembered the words. And it does work
13 years later today I discovered your channel and this which I relate to as I am "CHEROKEE". May the spirits bless all of you to and beyond this day. - jfm
My great great grandmother was on the Trail of Tears from Mississippi to Oklahoma. She was a full blood Choctaw. I live in Texas, and we are in a very, very parched drought. My granddaughter, my daughter, and I danced and prayed for rain.
that's what brought me here.. still waiting for rain... we've taken so much of life and earth and our atmosphere.. for granted. rain dancing in Washington..
I would like to keep the Blackfoot heritage going. This is a perfect example of it. Tell your kids the stories of their ancestors. Teach them songs, take them to Indian days. Keep the heritage alive!
I’ve always been fascinated by Native customs. I have nothing but upmost respect for them and disdain for the foreigners who came to their lands to take what was rightfully theirs, to then catalogue them as the savages when it was the other way around. These people truly understand what it is to live in true unison with Mother Nature.
Cheryl i love your native american people and culture...you make the earth a better place, thank you beautiful soul, much love and respect to you and your sacred people 🩷
I imagined rain, it chased me down, the point of this dance is not to teach you how to get rain, but perhaps all things you dream for yourself and your people perhaps, and why it is special.
Me I come from Germany, but I have native people blood inside me. The PA of my grandmother was Sitting Bull. And me I look likes a native woman because of my heritage. I am proud of this because I have a special feeling to the nature. I respect every creature and here even a wild wolf came to me and I could touch him. This was a very great impression. I collected bird feathers and my favorite animals are wolfs and eagles.

I am Chickasaw and offer not all rain dances are the same. We form two lines, men and women facing one another. Then the women turn around and walk away from the men, the men follow behind. 10 billion year's of endless adventure. All you had to do was avoid a few dinosaur's here and there. And if you learned to hide in the winter like the brown bison bison calf. The adventure was new again every spring. The white bison calf is a Lakota story. I'm talking about the brown bison bison calf. The brown one existed before the white one. We still like the white one though. It does not matter if they are from Peru. And not the United States. Because a very long time ago. The bald eagle had a relative named the condor. And thank each of you for the dance.

I like the music. It is like Madonna. 🙂
