    Wonderful recipe! For the people outside the United States: 300 degrees Fahrenheit = 150 degrees Celsius. Just to prevent you from burned clusters 😅

    I did this in baked it in my Dutch oven, it's the only recipe among the millions on TH-cam that actually worked and came out like it should've, like in the video and I have big chunks, and I mean HUGE compact chunks!!
    Praise God!
    Thanks for sharing!

    Tip: if you like really big chunks of granola, then you could use a smaller pan🥘 to put in the oven.

    Nice recipe! What's a good substitute for coconut oil?

    • @FromScratchFast

      You can use any neutral vegetable (such as safflower, grapeseed or canola) instead of the coconut oil!

    Will a vitamix work instead of a food processor?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there! Yes, a Vitamix will work instead of a food processor, just be careful when pulsing, since the Vitamix is so much more powerful. You can always transfer the dry ingredients to a bowl after pulsing then stir in the wet ingredients by hand to prevent the granola from becoming too pulverized. Happy baking!

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! Are these soft baked? Or would baking them for less time make them soft baked?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! These are crispy clusters. If you prefer a softer granola you could try cutting back on the baking time. Good luck!

    Can I make it with instant oats?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, this granola works best with old fashioned rolled oats, not instant oats, which won't provide the same structure. I hope you give it a try!

    I would like to let you know that I have been making this over and over for over a month now, thank you for providing ideas with real food. Wishing you great success, the straightforwardness and ease of your recipes are underrated.
    I have a question, as time went by, not sure what I started doing wrong, but the granola bars would rehydrate somehow. I do amend ingredients from time to time, is there something to note out for in terms of the ratio of dry/wet ingredients? I might be overdoing it with the honey/oil (I use butter when I'm out of coconut oil)

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, and thank you so much for your comments!! 💜 I'm wondering if the granola is softening due to the change in weather. If your kitchen is getting warmer or more humid as summer sets in, it could cause the granola to soften faster. You could try using "drier" dried fruits, such as currants and dried cranberries or cherries. Switching to maple syrup might also help. Please let me know know how it goes!!!

    Wouldn’t the dried fruits burn in the oven?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope! Since the dried fruits are chopped up into the granola they bake well. Great question!

    Can I put frozen Berries in?

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luísa Aires frozen berries will actually give off too much liquid so won’t work for this recipe. Any dried fruits will work, however!

    • @FromScratchFast
      @FromScratchFast  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They can be stored for a couple of weeks! They don't usually last longer than 2 weeks at our house since we eat them up fast, but I suspect they could go for longer.
