Thanks so much for this video! I just replaced the pump seal in my old Benjamin 137, which I've had tucked away in a trunk for about 30 years because I didn't know how to fix it. I never would have figured out those misaligned pin holes for the pump lever without your video. Working perfectly now. Shot a hole in a soup can about an hour ago.
Thank you so much for your dedication to teaching. your explanations are easy to follow. Do you have a video on how to soften the trigger pull? I have a Benjamin Franklin model 132 .22 cal and I wish to lighten what I call second stage. Mine is so hard is difficult to aim while pulling. I have looked but haven't found a tutorial on a trigger subject and would love it if you had one. Thank you
@@jamesdundas2271 James thanks for your quick answer. You are great. Since I've never dismantled a gun before I want to make sure I do It right. According to the diagram in the instruction sheet for models 130-132-137, the sear ( part 189) holds the hammer by a small protrusion from below. Should I file the top of the sear or the side that touches the hammer in the picture? Thank you Javier
I have a Benjamin 422 semi-automatic-Cal22 pellet handgun but it leaks air. Where do I get the instructions to repair it. OR what is the most likely cause of the air leak?
Great video. I inherited a 132. When I pull back the locking mechanism and attempt to load a pettet there is a rod in the way. There is no place to put the pellet. I can send you a photo if it helps. Please advise.
Thanks for the videos. Is there a detent ball or pin that is under the spring for the safety?? Mine just has a spring, the safety just floats side to side
I really like your videos. You explain everything very clearly. Can you advise us where we can buy Benjamin parts. I have a 150 and need to replace my pump washer that has been sitting for 50 years. I lubed it but their is no compression. Thank you.
You need Neats foot oil it is for the leather seal in the gun. you can get a 8 oz bottle on Amazon. To put it in, lift up the pump lever look for a very small hole, that hole is for air and you can put in about 8 or10 drops of the oil, you will need a hypodermic needle to put in the oil.
