No lmao the ocg builds their decks to not lose things like MAXX C warp the entire game so their deck building has to be so different compared to us we play combo decks to win as soon as possible they play for the grind game
I believe it boils down to cultural philosophy. There are ideals here that I do not care for such as the exploit a situation to your advantage idea. But nothing is perfect, I like the concept that OCG brings.
Gonna be real... the locals I've attended in New York state tend to have a completely unspoken honor system. I've seen very very few people actually bring meta decks or obnoxious floodgate decks to either of the local game stores I've attended. Hell, I got flak the one time I used an Agents deck to Kristya lock my opponents.
@@Merik2013 I went to New York one time loved the city that’s crazy they gave you flak for that I wonder what they would do if I brought runick stun lmao
Reason being is that the culture, Ideals and philosophy are different in OTG, most JPN players are the Animators of Yu-Gi-OH and they see it as art form then just a card game. Got to respect the history and lore of the game, in western culture its anything goes (wild west). If you ever played Magic the gathering its like going against a Control player, its zZz boring and lack of interactions. But if you vs'd a player who milled you out then that that takes skill.
American playing card culture is just so radically different from the Japanese perspective that they would rather depend on houserules than rock the boat. If there was some sort of local community banlist for certain decks that everyone agreed to, it could influence Konami to improve the game too.
IMO honor in battle is like fighting the pacific war with soldier vs soldier. Cards with instant win conditions like the final countdown or self destruct button is like using the nuke on the home country of your opponent lol all those training and all those potential your current soldiers have are thrown by the wayside just for winning, very dishonorable.
Dude I absolutely hate the new system. It’s bullshit. But, I will duel new system vs my old deck. Honestly I don’t mind the challenge. It’s supposed to be what your skill is. And if you put a wrench in these “link summon” and “pendulum” players they fold lol they can’t actually play.
So they basically want to have fun while we just want to win.
I see.

ocg>tcg
The differences from TCG and OCG wis way more than new cards
Just me casually watching this knowing damn well I'm only gonna play exodia 😂😂😂
This video deserves more likes 👍
thank you so much!
I’m from vietnam and i could say that many people right here play and use the rule of tcg more than ocg(and i haven’t heard any ocg rule right here)😅
If a deck makes it easy for you to win, you aren’t good your just exploiting cards and not basing you win of skill which is the issue
@@lemorelgambino9882 sadly the game nowadays has turned into a game of turn skips

so what ur saying is you will play runick stun or some kind of stun deck lmao
interesting take 🤔👍🏼
A deck is not honorable? but they find the makers of the game honorable, that makes the deck? makes no sense to me! 😂
Just like a lot of stuff we do that doesn't make sense to us.
I like the honor system
