Any FTK format is worse.

One thing that's just come to me is that perhaps what's needed is to place limits on the extra deck. For example out of Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Link you can only pick two types to put into your extra deck for a duel. I think that would force much more interesting deck building as you'd have to really think and prioritise what you need and would hopefully dampen down the power of one card combos into oblivion. This may also prevent certain cards being banned as you could no longer stuff your extra deck with everything, especially certain generic powerful cards. Players could then have other stuff in their side deck to swap out if they suddenly need Link monsters instead of Fusions for duel 2 for example. Perhaps you could go even further and limit the extra deck to 10 cards to again force more interesting deck building without relying on individual card bans. If you can't put multiples of three of every card into the extra deck, what do you pick? Might make pendulums relevant again as well lol. Edison format is becoming really popular again and surprise surprise it only has two types of cards that go into the extra deck. Obviously Goat is even more stripped back as it only has one. Too many summoning mechanics has just made the game way too unbalanced.

OH boy I knew an FTK would pop up that's funny because all these cards are super cheap very budget friendly now the problem with this deck is any FTK deck can brick potentially and get interrupted to a degree plus the decks needs to go first.

konami should've made it a super rare just to see the player reception for what appears to be an extremely bannable card especially if it turns out that the consensus on the tcg playerbase agree that it might as well be maxx c. it would be just 'rare enough' for the set to make money on the vendor's end.

1 card combos with oppressive endboards, 14+ Hand trap main decks, with board breakers. It's just not fun.

With so much space in the extra deck, why not play super poly? Great way to break boards and can work going first too. Also with how you don’t use your normal summon, lava golem and sphere mode are reasonable in the side.

This deck is not only after Rage of the Abyss, it's ever after Supreme Darkness which is a set that has not even been released in the OCG, because I don't know why the f*ck Konami is going to release this deck until the 6th of February, 2025. I'm a Blue-Eyes die-hard fan, I will buy it because it makes the Blue-Eyes deck playable, and I only play with friends and locals at most, so it's good to have Blue-Eyes playable again.

The last good ygo format was unironically Salamangreat in 2018. Everything else has been dogshit up to this point. Frankly with the price and prizing issues the game has, I kept reccomending everyone to just move to Pokemon TCG, its 100x cheaper and equally as challenging and fun. Ygo just ain't it anymore.
