One day I hope I run into you in Charleston so I can personally thank you for teaching me so much about fishing this area. It’s turned my life upside down for the better and I now have a healthy way connecting with myself and nature!
Oh wow, thanks man that’s amazing to hear. I find similar value in enjoying the outdoors. It brings me peace. I’ll be doing a seminar at the Charleston boat show coming up here (Jan 27,28). Stop by and say what’s up if you can!
@jvanvq37 the PA is a fun kayak! It’s this one www.thecharlestonboatshow.com. I’ll be doing seminars before noon on both Sat and Sunday of the event. 🤙
Good afternoon Mr Corey. Just finished watching your video. Loved it as always. Your so informative with detail, explaining everything. Thank you, thank you thank you. I was also a member of salt strong. No longer. Get alot more from you, maybe cause your in my area. Keep up the good work.
I guess this is an oldie but goodie. Thanks Cory. This helps a lot to help me figure out the colder water this winter. Hope we get a chance to fish together now that I've moved to MP and have joined LKA. I've got access to a neighborhood boat ramp on Hobcaw Creek, so let me know if you want to hook up to do some fishing! I'm a converted freshwater to saltwater kayak fisherman now! Can't beat that redfish bite!
Thank man! I think we will definitely cross paths soon! I haven’t been on the water in a couple weeks and am itching to get on it. Most likely going to target speckled trout for lka toys for tots. Cheers!!
Thanks for watching! Last year I made this video about spring lures and tactics. Top 5 Lures for Spring Inshore saltwater Fishing. Charleston th-cam.com/video/Pc2HZ5XuYq0/w-d-xo.html
First video from you I’ve watched. Excellent information and it coincides with what I am experiencing on the water as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I look forward to watching and learning more partner. All the best.
Hey! I don’t have any specific clothing options but can make a solid suggestion. Pack a large waterproof bag in your hatch. In the bag have a large dry towel, a change of clothing and a jacket. This is your insurance incase you make a mistake and fall into the water. When water and air temps are low you can be in trouble real quick if you don’t think ahead and have a way to dry off and get warm.
hey corey im not in charlston write now but i still would like to watch i gon in summer and somtimes spring i go to folly and surf fish from there do you know any August lures or bait for red drum/red fish
Hey man, I should have a “summer lures” video out by then but I would always have a 3” paddle tail tied on. Folly runs pretty dirty and I think a redfish magic spinner bait would do well. I don’t do much surf fishing but for the river side this would solid.
It’s always cool to me discovering people on TH-cam that are not to far from me, I’m right up the coast in Georgetown, Sc
Awesome man! Thanks for checking out the channel!

I appreciate that! I worry that I ramble too much or am repetitive. Happy it’s well recorded, and glad to share my passion with others.
Just keep on doing what your doing. I caught my first red fish. Two weeks ago. Almost gave me a heart attack. What a rush. 29". Thank again.
A 29 will pull some drag even in the winter! Awesome feeling!!
Wife and I are moving to Charleston for her job. I know nothing about fishing but love the vids. Trying to learn as much as I can before I get there!
Thanks for watching and welcome to CHS!
