I am totally going to use the idea for watering the plants! It's so much better for them in the summertime to get the water directly on the roots because watering on a hot day can damage the leaves. This is the best thing I've seen!
I carry around PVC in my car all the time. Great trick my Dad taught me as when I had a flat I had trouble loosening the nuts. Slipping the PVC over the top gave extra leverage (law of physics) allowing me to loosen nuts that might have been tightened by a machine before when the tyres were being changed over in the shop. Now using your tip I can use this in another way to help speed up the loosening process, not just starting it. Your watchers may benefit from this idea too. More like a two-for-one! 😀
+Specific Love Creations Of course you can use this idea in a future video. Without measuring mine, I believe my Dad said to use a pipe that is at least a metre in length.
#6 laptop holder....exactly what I was looking for to make a vertical (unfolded) cardboard box holder. It’s like a customizable panel rack. Thanks for the 💡!
I use a cane, wouldn't want that without a rubber cap on it. Do like the vertical notebook storage, but for using to store cookie and muffin tins...that would be good as it won't rust, easy to wash and can make it as wide or narrow as you need for the various tins you have...great idea. :) Thank you!
Just a little added info on #5 (walking cane): To get the correct measurement of a walking cane for each individual person, have them stand on a flat surface with their shoes ON, with their arms and hands down to their side (relaxed); then have someone else measure from the floor (ground) up, to their wrist (the line that forms between the the palm and the arm). That is the absolute correct measurement for a walking cane for that person. I make walking sticks and canes and found it to be very important for people using canes to have the correct height.
@@Hengry-hn7rb another random addon is schedule 80, if it needs to be stronger, for like he said, heavier set people or if you're putting more weight on it, you could use a larger size or try schedule 80
The paper towel holder uses book shelves hooks, instead of putting pvc on top place it underneath and you'll have the funtion of the shelf too. Also, you can use pvc to make a holder similar to the shoe rack where it gets fastened to the wall by screws and by making two holes in the pipe make for a temporary fix or to drill screws right through to support the shelf.
I don't know why not !!! these are many more cool ways to use there products besides the plumbing industry but keep trying brother persistent pays off !
Paper towel holder should have had screws in upward direction with only one hole into the pvc (Not all the way through) and then it is easier to put the new paper towel onto the pvc for changeout
for holding paper towels, I used a 3/4" pvc pipe and ran paracord through it, leaving a few inches and a loop with a bowline knot on each end to hang it from some nails on the wall in my shop.
i did #2 in a smaller version and attached a flat piece of plastic from something i was throwing away and cut it to about 2 to 3 inches square. i added velcro to it and the back of my cell phone and made a cupholder cell mount for my car for long trips so i didnt have to hold it. it placed the phone about dash vent height so i could still see it but when i needed a drink i could take it out. made driving easier since i used my gps a lot.
instead of using screws on the paper towel holder, just drill holes through the shelf brackets and drop nails through the holes to hold it into place. That way it will be easy to replace the paper towels when they run out.
Omg, just stop being mean to this guy, honestly, I rly like this channel, and these hacks are rly helpful. He deserves beneficial comments, not comments that just put people down, plus they waste the persons time who is writing it, and reading it, just stop guys. Also, awesome vid.
They are good ideas but why for the paper towel roll holder did you screw both ends. Then you would have to unscrew a screw every time it ran out you should use a screw on one side and a latch to keep it in place on the other so you can swing the PVC out and change the roll.
+Shiv Patel: or make the angle brackets from PVC, if you don't have the steel available. Obv. the free brackets were cheaper. PS a hot air gun would allow for flattening part of a pvc bracket for screwing to the wall. anything's possible.
Love the netbook stand! I need two of those in our house! Was thinking - the chicken feeder can be used for dog or cat food. Just make the 2" cut a little longer - say 2.5" Thanks for the ideas!
I love your creative uses for PVC, but I have a safety issue with one of the hacks mentioned in this video. You suggest making a cane out of PVC and putting a rounded end cap on the end that is in contact with the ground. That is FAR too slippery and could cause serious injury. You should suggest using a regular rubber crutch or cane tip on the end that comes in contact with the ground. I have lots of experience with this and you don't want people getting hurt trying this. Thanks
Specific Love Creations Could you help me out with some information? I live in the UK, and as such I do not understand the schedule 40 designation used for pvc pipe, any ideas?
OD of 1/2" is larger than ID of 3/4". I've tried this to add some strength to a long, lightweight 3/4" pvc pole to knock snow off my evergreens after a heavy storm.
WSHTF put your valuables and coins in a pvc pipe with end caps to bury in secret spot . Use a zip lock bag to keep moisture out . Also works for ammo .
#8 if it's wide enough to to over the end to spin it in your hand why not use a longer bit of pipe to use on the pipe stuck to the side to reduce the emount of effort to get it started then use it your way ...
Should change this video's title to "10 Life Hacks with PVC #2" for it to be easier to notice this is the second one, just in case someone even cares about watching them in order and doesn't pay attention to the "more" in it xD
is he a plumber with free PVC?? that stuff is not cheap some of the ideas are good but I can think of many other materials to do some of the same things he is doing without going to the hardware store for PVC especially the things with lots of elbows and adapters those cost the most.
hey i commented on this less then three months ago and cant find my comment but see even more recent and older comments.. wtf i know u commented on it and i wanted to show my fiancé that u did respond.. it was about the pvc tire iron leveage..
I'm crazy about PVC thinks to u.. but my fiance rolls his eyes Everytime I mention PVC. I'm slowly getting everything I need to do the projects I want to do.. thanks and can't wait for the next one..
sorry id not gotten back to you yes i use some plans off flitetest.com for only the Wings and tail sections sometimes i just make my own then use 2in sometimes 2 1/2in pvc an use the flat endcaps an center the brushless motors up an i use 9 gram servos an a 3S lipo they are nearly unbreakable i do not use the foam board i use coroplast ( voting sign board) the signs you see along the road during voting season...
Love how creative you think. So many life hacks are right in front of us, but it takes special people to notice them.

Keep a lookout this Thursday for my next life hacks video. I mentioned you and your hack.
Your videos are so fun. I'm glad I fell across them. Thanks

flipping great ideas !! thanks so much sir !!
very nice... im going to try them...
Cane one is a great idea but I'd replace the end cap with a rubber foot as it would be less slippery, great vid and hacks for PVC

Also add fiberglass rods to make it stronger

I make walking sticks and canes and found it to be very important for people using canes to have the correct height.
RonRay also paint it black or other color because people think that having a white Cain could mean your blind
Making a cane using a Tee rather than an Elbow works better. A tee lets you keep the pressure centered.
I hate google now that’s some advise I did not get from this video thanks ihg. But I like this channel . If you make one I will definitely subscribe!

I used pvc for my sprinkler system, it works great.
wow that shop towel holder is gonna help me a ton, thank you!

With regards to the table leg extensions: It might be beneficial to use to 3" step-up/converters to give larger footprint and added stability.

They weren't screwed in... The head is bigger to drop down in the hole and slide out for replacing roll. It's an ok idea if you don't mind ugly... Lol

The cane you could easily insert a wooden dowel inside to stiffen it up.
Good idea

If you take that paper towel holder and move the PVC to the outer edge you can add a shelf in behind it.
First time watching your videos. Good ideas.maybe laptop holder would be great idea for holding cooking sheets upright in cupboard. What you think?
Interesting
+Barbara Von Eitzen That is a great idea you could make multiple uprights and you could build one to hold pan covers too!
Sangat kreatif..
the pvc king
Good ideas but paper towel hold is a bust . You can buy a paper towel plastic holder for a lot cheaper than them 2 braces screws and pvc pipe
+Shelly K And you have to take 2 screws out every time to change the roll.
+cbond99 probably only one, as you could spin it around, still its getting redikulous
+Wilson Samuels I would only use one screw and rotate the pipe when it's time to change rolls.
Shelly K it's the thought that counts
So you would have to unscrew the PVC pipe every time you change the paper towels?
Looks that way. But I'm sure there's a hack for a PVC screwdriver for that situation.
Just found your channel, Love your videos! Keep up the good work. Ya'll look like you're having fun, and that makes your vids fun to watch.
Thank you very much, we try.
I took scrap pieces of pvc and a 1x2 and made a yard tool organizer of my shed
is pvc pipe and fittings dirt cheap where you live?
+Richard Shields Not dirt cheap, but reasonable. I also reuse most of my fittings for future projects to save money.
Specific Love Creations Could you help me out with some information? I live in the UK, and as such I do not understand the schedule 40 designation used for pvc pipe, any ideas?
Schedule 40 is the thickness of the pipe. Sch 40 is about standard for many applications. Sch 80 is thicker and heavy duty.
You could insert a 1/2 " pvc into a 3/4" pvc==it makes the cane very rigid.
OD of 1/2" is larger than ID of 3/4". I've tried this to add some strength to a long, lightweight 3/4" pvc pole to knock snow off my evergreens after a heavy storm.
Even more great Fun and useful! Hope you find something useful on my channel. I'm adding this video to my "Make your own tools" playlist!
WSHTF put your valuables and coins in a pvc pipe with end caps to bury in secret spot . Use a zip lock bag to keep moisture out . Also works for ammo .
No. 6 can also be used as a bicycle stand.
Good thinking
pvc could be cheap, but the elbows and joints are expensive and adds up
cool
pvc is our friend
The last won might be troublesome when the time to replace the roll come around.
+adoboawesome That is why you get a BIG roll :)
#8 if it's wide enough to to over the end to spin it in your hand why not use a longer bit of pipe to use on the pipe stuck to the side to reduce the emount of effort to get it started then use it your way ...
I'm surprised you don't live in a house made out of PVC... some are good ideas though

PVC is life
How do you get te paper roll of cause its screwed on both sides
how about a dog dish like the ones you fill and it put more food or water in when it is not full
surprised this dude hasn't moved into a pvc shed.
Do you have to unscrew the PVC on the paper towel dispenser to add a new roll?
Seriously, people don't want crap made out of plastic tubing.
Should change this video's title to "10 Life Hacks with PVC #2" for it to be easier to notice this is the second one, just in case someone even cares about watching them in order and doesn't pay attention to the "more" in it xD
+DanSparrow I was thinking about that, thanks
I use a PVC tube to keep me daily meds in their weekly container from opening when I travel.
I thought he was going to show us how to make a PVC Billy club to smack the student driver over the head if he were to make a mistake. lol
Sort of difficult to change the paper towel roll when you have to "unbolt" it... ??
many cool idees but at number 10 please cut off the end off the screws or you gonna need al that paper to stop the bleeding
Paper towel wasnt really good i tryed it but then i have to take the screws out everytime i need a new roll
Jumped the shark there with the paper towel. :(

Nope, not a plumber.
A PVC cane? That's a reach.
You're gonna need a RUBBER tip on the end of that cane. Otherwise, it WILL slip when the poor fella is relying upon it for support. Yikes!
Good point
