    I wish I would have seen the trick of attaching PVC to the Bow Saw a few weeks ago. I almost fell off an 8 ft ladder while trimming a few branches. Now I am going to use your PVC to Bow Saw idea to do some more pruning. It will be especially great in the areas where the ladder is a tight fit. Thank you so much for the tip!

    I really like the idea about attaching the PVC to the wire shelving. I used to have those kind of shelves and that idea would have made hanging stuff on them so much easier. I really need to remember this trick if I ever have those again.

    Second is a suggestion. In your knitting or crocheting bag put in a piece of PVC then drill a large hole or holes about the height of your ball/s of yarn, thread the yarn through the hole and out the top. secure to your knitting basket, bag, container with any appropriate fastener, even cloth tape and a safety pin. You can make a slit in the top, round it carefully so it will not cut your yarn and when you are stopping for a while, you can slip the yarn into the slit to secure it from being pulled out more. If your pipe IS large enough, or if you attach a larger one, maybe glue it to your yarn control pipe. When you are wanting to stop, stuff or roll your project down into the larger PVC ad everything is safe and ready to use again. You can even add end caps and secure everything. Storing a ball of yarn inside a larger PVC pipe, glue an end cap on one end and place another one on top. Carefully drill a hole in the top of the cap for your yarn to go through. Be sure there are no sharp edges.
    Idea for sorting yarn. roll yarn into balls and place into PVC by color, cap and store. Mark the tubes, or paint them to indicate what basic colors of yarn are inside the pipe.
    Have fun with craft, especially ideas using yarn

    Great videos! Awesome hacks. Also, if you use a piece of PVC, cut it halfway through for about 1-2 inches, and put a piece of screen over the hole, then it works as an air freshener. Also, put end caps on.

    Idea: Different take on your garage pool noodles bumpers. In our garage we park our bikes, lawnmower, etc at the back and when my wife parks in the garage she tends to park REALLY close to everything (and may have hit stuff once or twice). The idea is to make a frame with 1/2" pipe with pool noodle standing vertically to indicate where to stop. Helps keep the vehicle away from the junk at the back and protects the vehicle paint job.

    I really liked the glasses case, the tablet/laptop stand is good if you lay on your back, I usually lay on my belly but something similar may work... I use several pieces of pvc as gate closers. I have several wood 6' tall double gates and the usual hardware doesn't really hold them in a wind so I took 2 pieces of 3/4" pipe about 4" long and attached to each gate with 2 screws then ran a wood dowel inside a 2' section of 1/2" pvc and slide it inside the 2 loops. A bolt at one end on the side keeps it from going all the way through and acts as a handle, a hole at the other end takes a lock. I hope that was descriptive enough and feel free to share it

    How about a boot/shoe dryer... Make a stand onto which you mount a hair dryer (or heat gun), then smaller branch offs to hang your shoes or boots on. The warm air from the dryer flows thru the PVC and into the cold and/or wet footwear. You either leave the end that goes inside the shoe open or cap it and drill multiple smaller holes to better disperse the air flow throughout the shoe.

    For the Laptop holder, use a small bungee cord to hold it on instead of a zip tie so you can remove it easier.
    And for the cord runner along the wall, cut a slit down the side to tuck the cord into instead of trying to feed it through the pvc

    I got a suggestion for an improvement with your laptop holder. Instead of using elbow on top use a "T" and bring a short piece out the ends of the top cross bar, add an elbow to each end and make a "U" shaped piece at each end that will fit around the laptop to hold it in place instead of zip ties.

    I have a suggestion. How about putting a link in the description to where you get the "special" fittings from. I've had to get some of those myself, and they are somewhat of a pain to find because they are not normal plumbing fittings.
    BTW, have you done a PVC framed, paracord woven outdoor chair yet?

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Screamin Eagle I get almost all of my fittings at a local store so I do not have link as of yet. But I will look into it.

      Seriously, you should buy stock in a PVC company. They must make a fortune. Those 4 inch pipes & fittings blow the budget fast! I spent $300+ on PVC to redo my sewer line once. It's strong, though. I've seen bed frames & furniture made out of 4 inch pipe. (Perfect for hiding money in too!)
