I recall watching cigarette type boats racing in Lake Ontario many years ago. Lake Ontario can get rough in a hurry. I remember reading at full speed, all but maybe the aft most 3 feet are above the water, and that last 3 feet might be 2 inches in the water.

Absolutely the wrong plan. bringing a pontoon boat on the ocean, absolute bad plan. Lakes, and ponds. Yeah, no problem. Those boats were not designed for the ocean. 🌬️🌊.

Oops. They just fixed the paint on that boat under the gas cap because someone overfilled the gas tank and vented onto the side. Looks like it will probably need to be fixed again.
