Just because you have money, doesn't mean you're qualified to be on the water.
Having money and having boats is not necessarily synonymous, boats suck bank accounts dry.
Coincidence the big burnt boat has a for sale sign on it? 🤔
That's interesting
Bingo
Ah, the true meaning of a 'Fire Sale' 😏
2:45 I think the Captain made a wise decission!!!
His crew appears to be there for the looks more than anything else....
Just another day on the water where the authorities are kept busy by idiots...Good work guys.
Economic downturn equals more unusual fires and sinking. Happens each time.
"More boats seem to be sinking and burning in Miami"... sounds like insurance fraud to me.
2:28 nothing like a boat full of uselessness...
Burned out boat at 3:11...Seinfeld, "A lot of that will buff out."
The ships are so beautiful and the fun is great
The two happiest days of your life - the day you buy the boat and the day you sell it.
Rule #1: You can't fix stupid. Rule #2: No one thinks they are stupid. Watching this from the Erie Canal way up north, where stupid will sink you really fast. As far as random searches... well, they help keep people safe and frankly, if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't care.
Playing Beanie Man - Heads High while your boat is sinking.😅
The second Caprain was operating single handed. He prevented damage to his boat. Yes, it was dangerous.
Dude at the front didn't give no fawks; 90 minutes later, "hey, anybody seen Emily?"

So what happened to the last boat? Why did it sink?
Thumb+Subscription!!!
I like the way you seem to turn a critical eye on the ‘Boaters’ Behaviour’....
Many people in these vids act like they are having a good time in a playground!!!!
The fact that their life is depending on the flotation of the boat they happen to find themselves on is simply beyond them.... and I wish them all the best and good luck!!!!
But I am sure that, in the USA aswell, many, more serious, boaters distance themselves from these ‘Party-Animal-Boaters’.... and they should!!!
I live far away from your place (ie the Netherlands) but, being a careful and educated Yachtowner I would NOT like to share my insurance risk with the people at display in this vid.....
Thumb+Subscription, Henk, the Netherlands!!
Canada agrees with you
Decades old aluminum fuel tanks corrode from the presence of salt water and salt air in the bilge, tank springs a small gasoline leak, and concentrated gasoline fumes explode boat. Also, decades old wet salt water exhaust hoses and clamps deteriorate and when they open up, sea water quickly sinks boats.
I would like to know if the percentage of random stops and searches are achieving results that makes the effort worthwhile? It is a waste of staffing if the results aren’t helping the overall level of safety in the area that is patrolled. If not, discontinue the practice so that public relations is not negatively impacted. Might want to determine if higher priority calls aren’t being handled due to the practice also.
Hello, very beautiful😍😍👍👍
There is no place for a Williamson Turn in that situation. No Room for it. Agreed tho, you can't just mow the guy down going astern.
Wish you wouldn’t call those ammeters Captains.
Wish you’d leave your captions up on screen just a little bit longer so we can read , I can’t pause as my screen because it goes dark when I do so with a big arrow in the middle .. Ty 😊 ps already subscriber 👍🏼
Sorry about that! I will fix it next time
@@BoatZone Ty 🌹⭐️😁
Well you couldn't expect one of those women to assist the lone captain to stop his boat from being damaged, too busy swanning around in their swimsuits.
I try not to second habd captain situations like this, but You can't help wonder why he didn't use bow thrusters ans reverse to stop boat movement.
Boarding and inspections: DOT has the authority to stop and conduct a safety inspection on any commercial vehicle, at any time it is being operated on public roadways.
Coast Guard is charged with the safety of vessels. Most of the times I've witnessed it, the Coast Guard saw visible issue. Which gives them cause to inspect the boat.
2:29 I say so considering no one else looked like they were going to help. Might break a finger nail.
I was just watching that silly little Sea-Doo thinking that doesn't look too stable...
Looks like the Vanquish got vanquished by the river and lost.... Hummmm.
The Netherlands sure don’t make boats the way they used to.
Why'd that boat sink?
4 million dollar boat just sank for no reason?! What happened to the last submarine?
read somewhere the stabiliser attached to the hull snapped, letting in water.
@@BoatZone ugh no bilge pumps??
5:50 BWB - Boating While Black. Does the USCG board that boat if it has a white captain?
That cooked boat has insurance fraud written all over it.
Gotta’ love how a bunch of rich a##holes standing around drinking beer as the boat sinks. “Uh life jacket???”
I could see the Coast Guard boarding commercial vessels for "inspections," but boarding a pleasure craft is a CLEAR violation of the 4th Amendment. This is obvious in automobiles, so I'm not sure how in the world the courts allow it to happen.
because no one would bring in drugs by boat...to miami
@@joka6210 I'm ok with the Coast Guard patrolling the border and stopping/questioning boats entering our territorial waters. However, the random "safety" checks of pleasure craft just reeks of "show me your papers!" It's unamerican.
My thoughts are allot of boat loans are variable rates. That have doubled if not tripled after original purchase. This makes the payments to high burn it or sink it and collect the insurance
😎🇺🇸🏴☠️🧜Brains were never a prerequisite for boat ownership nor operation evidently
😎🇺🇸🏴☠️🧜Vanquish Got Vanquished By The Miami River…😳😳😱😱🤬🤬🤬🫣🤔😳🤬🤬🤬That’s A lot Of Money Down The Big Miami Drain !!!
"20 minutes later, this boat sank", geeze, that is just sickening!
The Miami river, what a freak fest.
Never leave shore without BoatUS insurance for tow and recovery. It is cheap... and saves your bad day.
With the economy the way it is people can’t afford their toys! I think more and more it is leaning towards insurance fraud to get out from under the huge financial burden!
#10 Looks like he is not prepared to dock. No line out. Just fenders hanging over the side like a newb.... or he just came off the dock.
Burnt Boats , a quick way top get out of boat payments , insurance payments , dock age payments and just might be able to get a buck or two for themselves. Or they are complete morons and don't vent the engine compartment before starting the motor. Last , a good way to cover up a crime or two by destroying evidence.
Las Vegas, you been stealing drain plugs? The Vanguard looked like a lot of money that now has to be salvaged.
It seems someone in Miami has been stealing drain plugs, right? That Vanquish is worth millions of dollars, what a nightmare!
@@BoatZone
For that kind of money I would expect it to float with or without a drain plug.
No one has the money they use too, so your toy payment has to go. Make sure you have your insurance up to date
6:37 Random boarding's/ stops I feel is like a dui check point on the roads. They are fishing (no pun intended), hoping to get "a big bust" or at minimum, issue a bogus citation
or a real citation
A homeless person was arrested in Seattle for torching a number of boats. The voices in his head told him to do it. Maybe you have the same problem in Miami. Over two years, this guy torched at least a dozen boats, maybe as many as twenty. He was caught on camera but they never physically apprehended him in the act. Finally, he torched a boat and someone tackled him and held him until the police arrived. Most of the boats cost upwards of $250,000. Because he’s schizophrenic he may get completely off.
that's Seattle for you... Liberal shithole.
How appropriate was the name on the boat with the chubby girl dancing?
State Wildlife Officers are allowed to inspect any creel, cooler, container, car or boat for fish or game violations.
"Allowed," doesn't mean it's right or Constitutional. All inspections and safety checks of this nature should be outlawed without a warrant or consent.
@@Sol_Searching - Wildlife officers have extensive inspection authorities that are unique to their jobs. For example, it is a crime to refuse to show an wildlife officer “… all licenses, tags, and the birds, mammals, fish, reptiles or amphibians taken or otherwise dealt with under this code, and any device or apparatus designed to be, and capable of being, used to take birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, or amphibians” (Fish and Game Code, Section 2012). Also, wildlife officers are authorized to inspect all receptacles, except the clothing actually worn by a person at the time of inspection, where birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, or amphibians may be stored or placed
Most boats that sink or burn these days are usually insurance jobs...
Alcohol, Drugs = AGE
Increase in burned or sunk boats recently. insurance fraud in these tough economic times? 🤔
The bigger the Boat, the more competence & experience you need when the Wind & Tides are against you, let alone the knowledge & preparedness needed to handle an emergency situation. I lived in SE Alaska for 15 yrs and "Fishin was the Mission" in my Sportfishing equipped Whaler. That, and I worked as a deckhand & company Diver for the many different Commercial Fishing Vessel's owned by the Seafood Processing Co I worked for. T
99% of these Boating Accidents are avoidable and even a fair percentage that are caused by some Wannabe Captain. The Captains I'd worked with were Navy & Coast Guard trained ship Captains and even w/ all that experience, $h!t Happens. As prepared as I tried to be, there were more than a few incidents where Lives were in danger & the Seas Tested me. Never turn your back on the Ocean.
At 2:15, I find it more disturbing some of those women are wearing bikinis
More boat fires due to lithium batteries?
Well seeing as we're in the beginning of a recession whether people want to admit it or not and repost season has just begun and will be followed by foreclosures there's more than enough reason to have an assumption that some of these fires aren't accidental! When the economy crashes and you've been overspending the first thing to go or the toys second thing is the car third thing is the house! We saw it in 2009 and we're going to see it again most likely worse! I don't doubt for a bit I probably at least 30% of the boats that are caught on fire are not an accident
For Sale or lease.MMM Lebanese Stocktake.
The IRS should inspect all boat owners 😂
Are you joking, right?
Just what I thought.@@BoatZone
@@BoatZonethe laughing emoji usually means it's a joke and they're laughing 🤦🏻♂️
Illegal Robbing Service? Aka Al Capone
Why do these people drive their 50+ foot yachts through a congested, slow area like they're handling a 12 foot fishing boat with a 9 HP motor in an open lake? More money than brains?
People get tired of making payments, if they didn’t pay cash, on the boat ad try to collect the insurance. It could also be that dope smuggling has slowed down because the increase in fuel costs?🤣🤣
From what I have seen on this channel most people or trying to be law abiding boaters however, some need to be banned from the water except as a passenger never an owner / captain.
7:44 what a useless waste of money..
Geez, tow truck/boat operators are rip-off artists on land AND sea!
Some people shouldn't own boats.
So messed up that the coast guard can board your vessel for any reason without cause! That needs to change!
It's just Big Brother checking our safety setup.
Unless you change the US Code system at the federal level, will never change. 14 USC 89 allows the USCG to conduct inspection aboard vessels with or without the capt’s consent. Has nothing to do with state laws, it’s all federal waterways.
Relax booster.
call your Congressman if you don't agree with it, (hint) it aint changing so deal with it.
Random boardings should not be allowed. Get a warrant for a search or inspection. Boats should be treated like cars.
Too many boats go too fast and don't realize they have momentum. Also, there are too many boats. Too much money, not enough common sense,
random boarding without warrant is violation of fourth amendment. It's a hostile act designed to provoke some type of response. Like shut up and sit down...
7:23 p3ndeja...!! 🙄 if u R fat, don't do that ur own weight works against U....🙄🙄🙄
Unless you are breaking the law keep out of my boat and don't bother me ! We are not in a police state .....yet
Many times, I see the marine police conducting inspection checks randomly on boats at the sandbar or the intercoastal. Should they have probable cause to do so or not? Is it part of the USCG procedure to conduct inspections without probable cause? I think it's a debate worth considering.
@@BoatZonetry this again..every ad deletes what I'm writing:
To argue about 4th amendment protections you have to ensure you don't give leo probable cause. Not wearing PFD's is almost automatic cause since there are actual laws requiring 1 for each person on board, as well as the throwable for boats over 16'.
Other things like throwing a wake in no wake zones or speeding when an actual speed limit is given, failure to give right of way..the person in control of the boat raising a beer in greeting etc etc.
The Coast Guard does have the right to board vessels to do safety inspections. If you don’t have anything illegal on board what do you have to worry about?
@@duanesamuelson2256 "The state of Florida urges all people onboard a boat to wear a life jacket. Vessels 16 feet in length or longer must also have at least one USCG-approved throwable Type IV PFD that is immediately available in case of a fall overboard.A child under the age of 6 must wear a USCG-approved Type I, II or III personal flotation device while onboard a vessel under 26 feet in length while the vessel is underway. "Underway" is defined as anytime except when the vessel is anchored, moored, made fast to the shore or aground. At least one Coast Guard-approved life jacket must be available to each passenger on the vessel" by Florida Law.
As you can see, it is not mandatory for adults to wear PFDs in Florida, and only in certain cases for children under 6. However, the example I'm referring to is when the boat is anchored in the sandbar, not in motion. I clarify, it's not that I'm against or in favor of it. I just question the overuse of this authority by any government entity. Miami is very particular as well.
@@BoatZone I know it's not mandatory in Florida (also my home state).
The point is that since they are required (on board not necessarily worn) not being visible gives probable cause for an inspection. Remember that probable cause is what the leo believes at the time (or says they believe) not what's proven out in fact, and they are allowed to use deception in investigations.
Also it gets screwy when on the sandbar...like being "in control " of a parked vehicle will sleeping off being drunk.
I'm generally against inspections in general just for the sake of an inspection. Either they do something they can be cited or arrested for or leave them alone.
In regards to the damaged and destroyed boats there is a REAL reason this is increasing...... BIDENOMICS
And immigrants
Im no Biden supporter but it was rhe border closures and lockdowns that created inflation. Trump should have kept the borders open and fired Fauci.
Got nothing to do with Biden, Dipshits.
Boarding a boat should require a warrant. No difference than the police just walking into your house
Officers ask permission to board first.
How is it different than being pulled over in your car?
@timgreen4137 They ask, But what if you say no? Many times, I see the marine police conducting inspection checks randomly on boats at the sandbar or the intercoastal. Should they have a warrant to do so or not? Is it part of the USCG procedure to conduct inspections without warrant? I think it's a debate worth considering.
@@BoatZone My guess would be, that if you say no, then they have to show probable cause. Just like denying Police permission to search your car. Just my guess. But... A crooked Officer could fabricate the probable cause. Like, "you were operating erratic," "I smell alcohol". Things like that.
@@timgreen4137 It's possible it could be as you say. However, they're going to have a hard time boarding a boat for those reasons. I spend a lot of time at the sandbar, and I've seen the police boarding anchored boats, families just enjoying the sandbar. No loud music or visible alcohol, just because they're going to do an inspection check. I'm talking about marine police, not the USCG. I clarify, it's not that I'm against or in favor of it. I just question the overuse of this authority by any government entity. Miami is very particular as well
That’s what insurance is for
If they don’t have probable cause they have no business boarding a US citizen ‘s boat. IMO
