Just bought a Ford Bronco and will be taking many road trips. Cannot wait to blast the music with the top down while staring down the open road ahead of me. Songs like this really give me a sense of wonder and magic that is so hard to experience as a 40 year old.
It is impossible for Brian Fallon to not write an amazing song.

@@EWTB amen. I'd even go further, I think it's good bands change. If you just make the '59 Sound part 2, 3, 4 and 5, things get stagnant and boring that way too. A guy in his 40's shouldn't write lyrics like he's still in his 20's.

I will never understand why I've been a fan of Jersey Rock for quite a few years and Brian Fallon only wound up on my radar a few weeks ago. This song is pure perfection, gritty introspective, and the exact thing I needed at this exact moment. The backdrop of more driving drums against the bitter lessons we realize as we get older is sound perfection.

This song is really growing on me. TGA doesn't have anything I don't like, but this has gone from like to love and I can't get it out of my head.
Rapidly moving towards my favorite song on the album. And this is an album where almost everything is great. It's one of those rare start to finish albums where you can put it in and enjoy an entire play through.
Incredible… heard it on my headphones now. The fine tunes and details come trough and make it even more intense. The songwriting hits straight in the heart.

As every single thing Brian creates to me is just perfect I am left to ask can he make something bad? I don't think so, I know people sleep on American Slang but I will emphatically state I feel it's just as skip-free as The 59 Sound. I also think how amazing that The Boss has shared a stage with them and not taken over which to me means someone on the level of Bruce playing with and being so excited it seems to do it is quite the honor.

this is reminiscent of the basement parties my grandparents & great grandparents had in the 50s & earlier. A/C wasn't really around so people had parties in basements b/c it was cooler. I actually remember going to some in the 80s when i was real little. Nostalgia to the max here.
